Today was totally off. Their online check in is why I use this place. It's usually pretty good give or take a few minutes. I don't care how long the wait is...just let me work the timing around other things I'm doing. Today it was off by 45 minutes though so I ran out of time to get my haircut. Disappointed for sure. At least my son got his hair cut so that's a win.

My husband went in for haircut that took close to about a hour only for the female to completely mess it up as he told her repeatedly not to touch the top and she did the complete opposite. Finally as she acknowledges her mess up and my husband is furious at this point she said ohh i got you a three dollar discount. He shouldn’t have to pay for that butcher or haircut. Would not recommend especially when they hairstylist was choosing not to listen

Incompetent, slow, and unfriendly. I received a text to return to the store at 9:23 a.m. At 9:55 a.m., I was still waiting. Then, at 10:15 a.m., I received a poorly executed call to see if I still wanted a haircut. At this point, I had already been seen by a competing location. Lack of management or accountability and a poor attitude from the staff will not be tolerated.

We have been to this location many times, and have always had a fantastic experience. Today; however, was the exception. We generally receive a, “welcome in to Great Clips”, and asked if we checked in online. That didn’t happen. We walked in and asked for Kelly, who usually trims my husband’s beard and cuts his hair. We were abruptly told, “she’s no longer with us.” When I told the young lady that we had checked in and said we had a 29 minute wait, she said “that’s OK, nobody else has showed up.” She continued to stand at the front. My husband, who is disabled, and on a walker, asked her if she was ready for him. She said yeah, he could come on back. I asked her which chair he should go to. I got no response. I asked her again which chair he should go to. She pointed to the chair. She offered no assistance to my DISABLED husband as he attempted to sit in the chair. I went over to her and told her to please be sure that she trimmed under his beard. Her response to me was, “oh, you want a beard trim, too?” Had she asked what we needed, she would have known. I did not ask for a receipt, unfortunately, because I would call her out by her name. We got in the car and it turns out that she had nicked my husband’s neck on the neck trim. We will not be back to this Great Clips location again, and will drive the extra mile to another location.

Make sure you use online check in. This location gets busy. Great fast and smooth service. My only gripe is I went with my 10 year old son and got charged two adult haircuts.

Erica was my stylist, and she did an AMAZING job! She didn't second guess my request for a short stacked cut, which was so refreshing! And then she did an amazing job cutting and making sure there weren't any hairs hiding! I will definitely be coming back to her again!

I didn't realize that most students fresh out of school work here. Had to go back twice and my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted. They did fix it the second time I went back, but I shouldn't have had to go back at all. I will be choosing another salon next time. I've never had any issues before but not risking it again. Unfortunate.

I would like to share my thoughts regarding my recent visit to Great Clips at 12370 Potranco Road at Ste 201 in San Antonio Texas. As a customer in the lobby, I overheard an associate referring to older people as dumb and in inappropriate terms. He also suggested they should charge them more for being difficult to work with. The associate’s name is Alex, not to be confused with Alexis who is an exceptional employee. In our community, I believe we should not tolerate ageism in any sense and when we see or hear something, we ought to say something.

If I could give zero I would. The customer service is seriously lacking at this location. The opener for this morning at 9:00am female decided to speak around me to the person behind me. Instead of saying “he was here first” and listing that I was indeed the first one at this location. The rudeness level was and is unacceptable. We will never be back. Management needs to reevaluate who they hire.

I’ve been to this location four times in the past few years and the stylists have trouble cutting a fade. One side is always blended in higher or lower than the other side. It’s not easy to see at the salon due to the bright lighting. Other Great Clips locations have this problem as well.

One word. Alexis. He is by far the best barber I’ve encountered at ANY great clips. I return to this location specifically because he is professional quality. I was paying a lot of money to a 5-star stylist at another shop and my hair never looked as good as it does with Alexis. This location is lucky to have found such a dedicated, self-driven and talented individual. 15/10 would recommend a trip to this location for Alexis.
