They don’t know what a fade is and the lady was very confusing and just started cutting even though she didn’t understand what I was saying. I left the haircut half way through and still got charged 9$

Despite showing the hairstylist pics of what kind of haircut I wanted. These pics has front, back and side angles for the stylist to get a good idea of the haircut I wanted she didn’t cut it properly and I have unevenly cut hair with chunks of hair sticking out.

My 13 year old daughter got a terrible haircut - the layers around her face looked chunky and jagged. We went back that day and they recut her hair. Still not great because there is only so much you can do after a bad cut. The previous 2 times, the stylists were great. So hit and miss.

Great haircut, they took their time and care with each cut. The staff, Miriam and Giselle, were very kind and helpful with any edits that we wanted to make. Thank you guys, will be coming back to this location. Pricing is fair for the care and conversation! Recommend for those in the military wanting a fair price.

Had a fantastic experience at this Great Clips! Maryam was absolutely wonderful and did an exceptional job getting my haircut l for a friends wedding. The location is super clean and nice as well which is a major plus for me!

VAN IS THE BEST! She works at the Great Clips Pacific Highlands!! Ive been going to her for years and she takes the time to cut my hair and always comes out the way I want it. Very kind lady. Great clips is not just men and boys … Women should go here and ask for Van! Thank you Great Clips for employing amazing people! My whole family of 6 goes to Van.

Holly has done my 10 year old son’s hair a few times now and she is always incredibly accommodating and listens to his ideas and requests - you can tell she’s really good with kids and is usually laughing and chatting while she cuts his hair. He loves coming to GreatClips and I’d highly recommend Holly (although honestly, everyone at this GreatClips location are awesome!).

UPDATE: I recieved a phone call from the owner and I appreciated the time he spent to explain the situation. He went the extra mile to make sure to get a printed card in addition to following up with me, if I recieved the card in the mail. Thank you to the owner, for making me a valued customer. =============================================== Staff was professional and nice. However, I tried to use a $13.99 gift card and unforunately the manager (Kasey) informed me that they could not honor the 13.99 gift card due to the card having $13.99 x10 with a marker instead of "printed on the card" and that I would need to go to the original Salon that issued the card. Unforunately that Salon was the Del Sur near Vons which is closed permanently. I called and was recommended to contact cooperate, however they did not have cooperate's number in their office and explained it is a franchise and that the owner would have it - however they didn't want to contact the onwer at this point in time. I understand with inflation and the economic situation is very challenging especially in San Diego. However, feeling like I'm being nicked and dimed, as well as not having acceptable answers to genuine questions - I would think that I'm not the first person who has their $13.99 x 10 gift card only to be told it's "invalid" - it was a pretty negative experience. ================================================
