My first visit to Great Clips on Garnet and I really did get a great haircut from Kayla. Staff was friendly and professional and there’s lots of parking. Prices are very reasonable.

Anna at Great Clips is a HAIRo! I came in looking like I’d been wrestling with a weed whacker and left looking like a million bucks. She listened to my vague, borderline incoherent description of what I wanted and somehow turned it into perfection. Plus, her jokes are as sharp as her scissors. If you want a haircut and a comedy show, Anna’s your gal. I’ll be back—partly for the haircut, but mostly for the laughs. Five stars aren’t enough for this legend!

Definitely will not go back to this location the lady butchered my hair usually takes about 30 minutes to do my hair she whipped through it and 10 and then I had to try to get her to clean it up and it just got worse

Had a horrible experience. I think the lady who cut my hair was new or something. It seemed like she was in a rush. I asked her to trim the sides and just clean it up and she chopped a ton off and the end result wasn’t ideal… not sure if I’ll be coming back…

Got a great cut by Nami! They were able to take walk-ins. Can’t beat the prices either and she did an amazing job with my bangs and layers haircut

Got a haircut but by not following clear directions that I gave. the haircut was terrible. I am very unhappy probably will not return here. this happened within the last two weeks.

I live in N. CA. I was in Diego, CA for work. I finally I got a wonderful haircut from a young lady at this location. I felt she took the time to give me the haircut I wanted. I have got compliments on my haircut. I wish I knew her name. She was awesome.

I took risk and came here despite the negative reviews. I asked for a skin fade with shaver but their shaver was broken. Okay, whatever no big deal, I'll get a regular fade. I told a lady barber I can bring my own shaver (as joke) and the other lady barber started freaking and telling me not to bring my shaver numerous times. She keeps warning me not to bring my shaver as the barber is cutting my hair. She was so rude, the joke was over, no need to get pissed about and remind me not bring it. Never coming to this place ever. It was the lady with the fake blonde hair.

Very rude lady and staff, laughing and looking down on me and my wife. Unpleasant experience. The fact that there are so many bad reviews about how rude the staff are, yet they're still there with no improvement or action taken by management, indicates there is something wrong with the whole brand. We will never come back. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I went to Great Clips last Sunday (8/20) at about 6:30-7 ish. When the girl signed me in she made it seem like she was doing me a favor accepting me as a walk-in even though there was no one else in the shop. I asked her to take little to nothing off the top and she kind of acknowledged me. I wear glasses so, it's hard to see while she is cutting and my hair length is difficult to judge until it is fully wet. Next day, after my shower, I go to comb my hair and it is way too short!! I FINALLY had it out to a length that was workable and now it's been chopped down to the point where it stands up and flies all around and looks terrible.

If you get a fade, go somewhere else. It’s not worth it. 3 years I’ve been here on and off and it’s 50/50 on whether I get a bad cut. Is it really worth a coupon from customer service?

They don’t accept appointments by phone calls, I called and they said would be no waiting for walk in and in 5 minutos to get here was a 20 minutes waiting time! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Went to Great Clips located on Garnet in Pacific Beach. A man named Cristiano messed my hair up and COULDN'T fix it. He asked how he should fix it, i wasn't sure how to answer this as i already told him i wanted the bangs straightened out, so i said "i guess you would comb it like this, and im not sure, i didnt go to beauty school but do you remember, what did they show you in beauty school, i mean how to comb it and cut?" He was very rude and had to have some one else fix my hair, he complained that he was on his lunch and exclaimed "there goes my lunch" So another lady(who was very helpful) was fixing it for him, he came over while she was helping me to tell me "By the way you have UGLY HAIR!" I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!! I asked the lady helping me who the manager is, she said HE IS!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE MANAGER!! I have never had such a rude experience in my life!

Would recommend Kayla for bob haircuts!!!! She is brilliant and makes my hair healthy and better than other stylists I’ve been to in the area. 10/10 recommend!
