2/3/2025 Update from my previous 1 star review. The manager of this location (Rich), took time to reach out to me and said that he agreed that the situation could have been handled better. Furthermore he mailed me a voucher for a free haircut to try them again I intend to do that soon. Thanks Rich.

I have been going to Houng for my haircuts since 1999 when I moved to Scripps Ranch. She has a consistent clientele. No appointments necessary. I just call to make sure she is there and make an online instant reservation with their app. It puts you in the que. Walk-ins are welcome, of course. Never disappointed! All the stylists are great. Every now and then one of the other stylists cut my hair if Houng is off and I cannot wait. My most recent haircut was such and I’m very pleased with it.

Probably worst haircut I've gotten. Person was very rough and when I got home and actually looked at it...omg Clipper marks, fade lines... bad Pictures don't do it justice I definitely wouldn't recommend.

I can't recommend Rich enough! He consistently does an amazing job cutting both my hair and my son's. His expertise is evident; he takes the time to understand our preferences and makes adjustments to achieve the perfect look every time. Rich is not only skilled but also approachable and friendly, making each visit a great experience. If you're looking for a hair stylist who truly listens and delivers, Rich is the one to see!

I had my hair cut by Randy and was very pleased with the level of service. His attention to detail was better than I have received from many other stylists. Highly recommend.

Huong B. At the Scripps Ranch Village is the best. She has been cutting my hair for 28 years and my hair is always the way I want it when she is finished. She is the greatest!

Check-in was a bit chaotic, but the haircut was good and the wait was relatively short. I can always pass some time in the bike shop or trader Joe's in the same plaza if the wait is longer.

Walk in customers get absolutely no preference or customer service. Have to get into an online QUE and take whatever stylist is available. No appointments with a prefferd stylist. Im a straight man and don't like feminine men having their fingers on me. (THAT'S MY RIGHT) I have a Wahl with guards. Just gonna cut my own hair from now on.

I had previously had a bad encounter with one of the stylists there. The manager, Milena, went above and beyond to resolve the issue and provide the best customer service. I just had a haircut with Lily and she did an amazing job and also went above to make sure every detail was right. I recommend Great Clips for their service and good management.

I have a wedding to attend in three days and the woman butchered my haircut. She shaved my head around my ears down to the skin. Not just around the ears but above them too rather than the normal trimming just behind the ear. I look ridiculous. There’s no fixing it because I can’t add hair to where she used a chain saw around my ears. This place is hit or miss. Their is a nice woman with short hair that does an amazing job. Every other time is someone random and they suck. This miss was so bad that I will never return. Time buck up and go to a proper barber.

I have mixed reviews for this place. It’s a hit or miss place. Same Hair dressers are not available all the time. Every time i go someone new is there. So if you really want to get a good haircut I wouldn’t recommend the place.

Just had the best haircut ever from a wonderful stylist named Huong. She took me in immediately, asked what I wanted and expertly gave me a fabulous cut. Very talented.

My son and I have been getting our haircuts at Great clips for many years and the only stylist we go to is Milena.Sometimes we have had to wait a while as Milena was busy but well worth it.Our haircuts cuts are never rushed and Milena is always friendly and communicative with what we want done.My only request is if coupons could be offered to regular clients.

They really don't know how to cut female hair if you want it styled. I'm sure they're fine with male cuts. Not impressed with them for me though.

This is a great location and facility. The stylists are very friendly and professional. I have had my hair cut by Milena for several years now. No one gives a better cut in town.

Hun is great at cutting hair! Me and my been going to this location to get our hair cut by her for many years. I don't like the fact that this location doesn't accept GC coupons that come in the mail.

terrible!! Worst haircut I've ever gotten. I asked for wispy curtain bangs and showed pictures and the hair stylist if you could even call her this gave me this uneven choppy mess! I also got layers and the whole process seemed so rushed it probably only took 10 minutes which is ridiculous. DO NOT GO HERE! I'm going to ask for a refund because this is not acceptable and then go somewhere actually competent to get it fixed.

Kicked out for suggesting a hair length to my friend during his haircut, did not interrupt or anything he had just sat in the chair. Lady cutting the hair yelled at us and kicked us out for “telling her how to do her job”. While we were waiting we watched her kick out 2 other customers for the most insignificant reasons. Horrible customer service. Left my man with a half shaved mullet. Did him dirty. The stylist was named Nicki.
