If you want to use this store, have a set idea already of what you want razor-wise and let them plug it into their system. If you deviate, your hair will suffer for it since they don’t deal well with changes from the norm if you come in with a different request. Come here to get your hair sheared down, not for a “good haircut”.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Cut hair too short then said they couldn't do what I asked because they had already cut the hair too short. I asked them to fix a spot on the side and her response was "no it's ok" Update: the spot I asked to fix is visible from a shadow, clearly there is an issue

Bad experience with beard trim at Great Clips, 1430 El Paseo de Saratoga, San Jose, 95130. Wasted 10 bucks, instead of trimming she almost shaved ur leaving miniscule hairs on the cheek. Dis Online check after 530 pm and didn't know that check in does not work on their app or webpage daily after 530 pm evening cut off Yung when they close at 6pm, so that sucks right off the bat. Lady put me in the wait list by taking my name and phone Nov and I was called in with in 10 mins if waiting time. However the beard trim turn out to be disaster as she just brought the hairs to the skin level, I was like what. Anyway at the checkout, she took 5 minutes to figure out that online $2 off code was for hair cut and not for beard trim, that even sucks super duper !! Anyway, I just paid and walked away quickly as I could. Ain't coming back here for ever....

I go to Great Clips because they have a synchronized system to keep me from having to dig out 6-year-old selfies (my most recent photos) to try to describe the incredibly basic haircut I want... I'm a "one wardrobe, zero style" guy and I HATE thinking about appearances. Walked in here and they couldn't find me by phone number -- it's never changed and I've had my Notes carried over from a store in LA ffs. They couldn't find my Notes, so I couldn't find a reason to stick around. Something is up with this store's ability to handle technology.

I tend to go there when they open and get a simple hair cut. Usually get in and out around ten to fifteen minutes, but that could be because of how early I arrive. The employees are nice. Masks are optional.
