Today I went to Great Clips on Clark Road/ Beneva Road, in Sarasota, Florida. I asked the hairdresser Rainna to cut my hair straight across my shoulders, and to add a light simple layer in the back. Rainna did NOT listen to my wants, and butchered my beautiful hair. Rainna unevely chopped my hair in every direction, and unevenly chopped thick bangs to my eyebrows, which I did not request. I stood up from the chair, and said, "Ok, we're done here." I broke down, and started to cry, as I was horrified, and in shock at what Rainna did to my hair. This hairdresser lacks skill, and most definitely doesn't listen to the customer's requests/ wants. I'm horrified. My hair is such a short disaster that it'll take years to grow back. I went back into this location to get a receipt so that I could have proof of this disaster, but the Associates could not print out a receipt without Rainna's password. I'm going back to this Great Clips location (For the 3rd time) tomorrow in hopes to speak with the Manger, Dawn, because I want a full refund. I'm traumatized by this entire experience. Would not recommend this Great Clips location, or this awful hairdresser Rainna, unless you want to look like a 5 year old cut yout hair. Rainna is not an asset to the hair industry. Just horrifying, and devastating. 0 Stars.

Always busy, but the aura is always great as well as the stylists. Always a GREAT CUT from Dawn.

I just had the best experience I have ever had anywhere. Theresa just gave me the cutest haircut. She listened to me and corrected a bad haircut I received from another salon. I have found my new stylist. The Beneva location employees are very best!

Great place they're all really pretty good but Dawn is my favorite. It used to just be my local shop and now I live in Bradenton and I still go back there.

I had a great experience at the 3562 Beneva Road location. Hairstylist Dawn cut my hair just like I asked. Understood my direction. She made me feel comfortable with her excellent customer service skills and professionalism. I will be going to this location from now on.

I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant about heading to a chain hair cutting establishment for a quick neck trim, especially since I was in a bit of a bind after my regular barber (along with seemingly every other barbershop in town) had closed for the day. Desperation set in, and with just ten minutes to spare before closing time, I walked into Great Clips on Clark Road in Sarasota, half expecting to leave with a botched neck trim and possibly minus an ear. To my surprise, the friendly staff welcomed me with open arms, despite the ticking clock. They assured me that a quick neck trim was no problem, and I was promptly seated in the chair. The lady who took care of me was professional and attentive, listening carefully as I described exactly how I wanted my neck line and curvature. I have to give credit where credit is due—she did a fantastic job. The line was precise, the curvature spot on, and she even went the extra mile to trim behind my ears. All of this for a mere $7, plus the $3 tip I felt compelled to add for the great service, which made it a tidy $10 bill. It was more than reasonable and left me feeling relieved and quite amused at my initial worries. Great Clips, you've earned yourself a bit of a fan. While I might not be switching from my regular barber anytime soon, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for a quick trim in a pinch. Thank you for saving my neck, literally and figuratively!

I wish I could leave a -5. Girl I previously had “abruptly “ left. I saw Dawn today. I HAD medium long hair, one length with the front about an inch shorter and blended. Asked for 1 to 1 1/2 inch off. Dawn asked if I wanted the back with long layers to give my hair a little movement. In the mirror she showed me with her finger what looked like a 1 inch difference in length . I wear glasses which I took off for the cut. OMG. I look like a choppy mushroom. The “long”layer is 3 inches shorter than my hair- ALL the way around my head-I now have bangs that are longer than my long layers. Dawn’s response? I can give you your money back! She did offer to recut it- seriously! I now have to live with this for about 6 months. Please don’t make the mistake I made. Don’t go to Dawn I can’t believe she went to school for this.

Good hair cut chain..they keep your profile in the computer so even if you get a different stylist or location they know your preferences

Took my daughter here today & needless to say I will never return. My daughter asked for an inch off of her hair… and this is what she got in return. Now we have to spend more money going to a different place to get this mess fixed. I can’t return here and trust they can correct this.

After I got my hair cut I got a rash on my scalp?! Great Clips does not follow the sanitary health guidelines by not cleaning the combs, brushes or electric clippers after each use?! Customers need to be aware of this and ask if the combs, brushes, and clippers have been sanitized!

I called ahead and the manager, Dawn, was working until 5pm so I checked in on the app and there was only a 15 min wait so I proceeded to the store where Dawn was ready for me when I walked in. She always gives me a great haircut!! 👍 ❤️

I like Great Clips. My mom and I go there. Everyone that works there has been a hair stylist for quite a while. They all know how to cut hair and work very hard. It's only hair and needs to be cut so why not do it for under $20.. but leave a big tip!

I visited Great Clips at Beneva Village SC today. Suzanne treated me so well. Listened to me, asked questions the went to work. Throughout the entire haircut, she got my input. She completed my cut making sure I was happy and she was happy. She showed a Great amount of Integrity in her work. Much appreciated.

Was nervous at first because she acted like I was annoying her by being there. But once we sat down Sue was really great with my 3 year old and gave him a nice cut. She is great at what she does.

Went for a 1 to 3 on the sides and back and got a 1 the entire way, and didn't blend it. super disappointed
