I was in simply to get my hair trimmed and textured... Even things out a bit. Actually asked for "pixie" cut which I've been working on for a few months. I walked out of there scalped. My mistake, I wasn't paying attention however what part of pixie cut isn't understood??? Barely enough hair to spike now. Embarrassed to go into public!

UPDATE- Dec 16/2024. This location appears to have gone downhill with the quality of their cuts. I had not been in for a while but went in and was told by the stylist Jen that the location could not retain their staff. She said she had been doing this for 32 years so I went ahead. What resulted was the worst cut I have ever had . Jen’s only response was I should have gone to a barber! I have been to GC locations all over North America but this cut and her uncaring response to the poor quality in mind made this the worst experience at any GC. My hair has been ruined for all the seasonal get togethers. I no longer recommend this location. 2022-I attended this hair salon for the first time and entered as a client was complaining about her haircut from Rebecca the previous day. I saw her hair agreed it looked like a very poor job. I was reluctant but decided to give the only stylist there (Ruby) a chance. I am glad I did as the haircut I received was very good. Ruby was fast and efficient and seemed to know what she was doing. I was very happy with my result and I highly recommend Ruby !

Absolutely awful experience my most recent time. Went the day before we got engagement photos and the woman made my hair patchy. Zoomed in on an image to show this drastic mistake. Does this look acceptable? Will never be returning. Plus she smelled like cigarette smoke during the cut.

I take my son here because these girls have barber skills unlike hayden and Chaparral. They can give a good white boy/white girl hair cuts but u want real barber skills for your boys who have textured hair go here! Only great clips in the area withba 00 for a skin tight fade!

One of your barbers that seemed to be from mexico cut my hair. I asked for half an inch and she cut two inches off. Thanks to her i had to buzz my hair off otherwise i would get bullied in school. Do not go to this shop

Took my daughter for a haircut today. Her “hairdresser” was Supriti. She was extremely rude, unfriendly and argumentative. She got defensive, sat down on a chair and started arguing when we asked her to fix the mess she had made with my daughters hair. She even went as far as arguing with my 11 year old daughter while I was sitting away from her! She not only needs to learn how to cut hair but also some manners and how to behave with children. After this horrible experience, we will never return here again!

Since 2018 summer I came to this place a guy with ponytail hair with shaved sides hair and sandals refused cut my hair and worst hair cut place ever I would stay away from this place and never ever come back here again also a flavor go somewhere else and go to the dave's barber shop or super cuts and other barber shops instead cuz best service.😡

It seems a "LOT" of people [that are leaving reviews on here], have the same issue as I do - with the “appointment app” in particular. To put it bluntly “it SUCKS”.!! On 7-25-23 I checked in at the Scottsdale Arizona location at Gateview Park, 6989 N Hayden Rd. When I walked in they checked their computer and said I was not listed on the computer. They asked me for my phone number. I gave it to them and the woman said “there you are, your name is Bill”. I said no, my name is Dennis. She said well I’ll enter you manually. She did, then she said “Oh there you are, now you’re on here twice, you checked in Twice”. I said NO ….. I only checked in ONCE. I’m not going to go DEEP into more problems with the “not so great clips’ app. Just to say you guys NEED to look at your competitors app (Supercuts) and design yours EXACTLY like theirs. With the ‘Supercuts’ app, you can “pick the location and a date [and time] you want ‘2 days in advance.’ Pick your stylist by name, pick the type of haircut you want, then hit the send button and that’s it. It has never failed me, and they’re generally on time with great stylists. The only reason I even [tried] Great Clips is because I moved too far away from the Supercuts location that I was going to. But now, after having more issues (other than with your app), I’m going to drive the extra 25 miles out of my way to go back to Supercuts again.

Jazmyn with a Z is amazing.. I walked in looking like I had a chia pet hairstyle to a chic look I totally love and am excited to grow out the parts for the final hairstyle. She even got me to feel comfortable with my grey. She offered great & easy to follow instructions for my hair growth and hydration. This is what a hairstylist is all about. So excited to see her in 3 weeks. Definitely recommend!!

Love this place. I have Asperger syndrome and don't like being touched or talking to strangers. They keep my hair preferences on file so I don't have to deal with the awkwardness. I only get my hair cut every 4 months because of my situation and they do a great job when I do go in.

did not use water to cut my hair, the lady gave me micro bangs. in summary NEVER trust a white lady with dreads. i hated my haircut and wish that everyone who works their never touches or cuts hair again!!!!

worst place to get a haircut, the lady just cut my bangs straight across and gave me micro bangs and i hate my haircut. my layers don't blend spent less than 5 minutes on my hair. DO NOT TRUST THE LADY IN DREADS!!!! i hope she gets fired and never touches or works on anyones hair again!!!
