My 14 year old got his hair butchered last week, and it happened to our 18 year old today. We have gone here for 8+ years and never had such a horrible experience - happened twice in 4 days. Both of my boys came out looking like clowns, and are pretty devastated. We learned our lesson, do not get a haircut unless Michelle is available. Time to find a new spot.

I went to the Richmond Center Great Clips... Susie cut my hair...I haven't had a cut since August of last year...I have long hair with layers all over....it had grown out so much it was just limp and hanging there. I love what Susie did. She listened to what I wanted....love my hair now... definitely recommend. Did online check in and was taken right away.

Not at all good , the lady was very rude , please don’t go to this store, I asked her to do very well but she just did cut top of the hairs , she was not at all professional and she was rude with me

I appreciate the online check in and the wait time alert. It would be a good system if the staff would attempt to adhere to it. After receiving the message to head to the salon as my estimated wait time was 7 minutes, I did so and checked in with approximately 4 minutes to spare. At zero minutes I was the first on the list. I then waited an additional 15-20 minutes with no acknowledgement or eye contact from the staff who seemed to be cleaning, chatting, or taking a break, whatever. At that point, I got the attention of one of the staff and requested that he remove me from the wait list. I did not stay for the haircut I had been planning on. I won’t be going back to this Great Clips salon.

I got this cut from a lady, Neda. Worst cut ever. She cut my sides way too up the top. She was unprofessional too. She had the clipper running and waving it around while talking to another stylist. Definitely not worth $20 and pls revoke her license. Thank god I didn’t let her do my beard

They are usually very busy so I definitely would suggest online check-in and save your place. The salon workers are very efficient and very pleasant, they talk to you about what you’re there for and they do a good job plus the conversation is usually pretty fun. They are quick and efficient and I can recommend great clips to anyone.

I would give this a 0 star if I could, the lady who did mine was choppy and messy. She did not brush it first basically squirted me with the spray bottle, and hit me twice with the scissors. I have bruises because she had hit me 3 times with the hair dryer/blower. 👎 She was very sloppy and gave a bowl cut when I asked for the edges to be textured. Not going back here again.

I have been to Great Clips in several locations across the US and I have always been satisfied with the cut, however, a few days ago I visited the Richmond Heights location and did not have a god experience. I showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted (and they also had records of my previous cut in computer). Not only did the stylist cut my hair significantly shorter than requested she also did not cut it the way I requested--two entirely different style of cuts. When I asked why she didn't cut it las I asked, her response was, in essence, "because it wouldn't have looked good that way". I was shocked that she decided (on her own accord and without asking me) to give me a different cut than what I specifically asked for. I tried to be Ok with the cut, but every time I catch a glimpse of myself I get upset again AND worse the haircut just doesn't lay properly. So not only did I not get what I asked for, the cut is also poorly executed. My husband NEVER notices when I get a cut. But he noticed this time (and not ina good way)..he was like, "what happened to your hair?" I will never go back to that location even though they gave me a certificate for a free cut! When the assistant manager gave me the certificate she offered to recut it. But it was/is too late--the stylist had already cut so much of my hair that it was/is impossible to adjust it and it will takes many months for it to grow enough for it to be fixed. I have never cried about a hair cut in my life--I'm usually pretty chill. I cried about this one. Obviously, I don't recommend this location.

From the reviews I might suggest choosing a different reputable barber if you get a bad cut. The barbers seem to know of each other within the local network. I've had good ones who I'll try to mention on a survey.

I went to, “Clippy Clips”, as my sister says! I got as good as a cut as I could. Both sides trimmed! It looks as good as it could! Thank you Great Clips!
