Had to get my sons hair cut, because baby daddy, decided it would be a brilliant idea to take a weed wacker (using clippers) to his hair attempting to give him a bowl cut that was uneven and choppy. Looked like he put a bowl on his head and cut around it. He got picked on at school because it was that bad. I don't remember the ladies name that cut my son's hair, but she fixed it nicely without having to buzz it all off. She cut his hair before and knew exactly how to fix it. She was polite and professional.

Alicia, hopefully I remembered her name correctly, is the GM of this location as well as 2 others and she is amazing. Not only was she quickly and effectively assisting another hairdresser with a question but she was checking out another guest and then sat me down to cut my hair. I'm not normally a conversationalist while sitting in the chair but she was super friendly to me and had me talking the whole time. She was professional, knowledgeable and gave me one of the but haircuts in my life. I'll be back to see her again.

Charging for professional haircut services and delivering lower quality services provided by a Trainee at Great Clips in City Plaza at Tampa Palms. I make an appointment through the Great Clips app, drive to the store, I'm called, and I seat. You can feel the insecurity of the lady, the cheap hair clippers, the short power cord rubs against your face while the clipper blades pull my hair (sometimes are way loud), not knowing how to fade and blend. The hair cut instructions somehow reverted to old instructions. I ended up getting a terrible hair cut near the Thanks Giving celebration. Terrible indeed! Put on my eye glasses and the mirror says "trainee." So I have an unsupervised and inexperienced trainee who never blew off the hair from my face, did not offer to trim eye brows that I generally get, no gel offered, my hair is not evenly cut, and the entire experience is a complete disappointment. It's a disaster and I don't have the skills to fix so I will have to go elsewhere. I was never disclosed up front this person was a trainee. The main problem is that I go to a "professional" hair salon, expecting to get a "professional" hair cut, get charged the "professional" hair cut fee, and in exchange I receive the worst hair cut of my life by an inexperienced and unsupervised trainee, literally. Contacted Great Clips customer service and part of the response is "We will contact the owner of the salon about your experience, who will get in touch with you in a timely manner". I thought corporate care about the brand and here the owner of the salon will reach out to me. For what? I'm unable to solve internal quality management procedures. It is time to move on to a better run company that delivers the quality service they charge for.

The last 2 times I was here I explained what i wanted. All i ask is a fade on the sides and back. I cut the top myself because every stylist has a different cut, and its difficult to get what i want so i do it myself. The first event i explained this. She cut the entire thing, and told me "i'm going to cut everything, because you are paying for a full cut don't worry about it". The second time i explained it to another barber today she cut half the top when i asked why she said it wasn't on your ticket. We look at the ticket it says "Top: Cuts it himself". This was after explaining how i cut it as well. I would do the fade myself as well if i could see the back of my head. I don't know where to go to get a very fast and simple cut done where they listen.

Decided to get a haircut yesterday and met the manager, Chris. She did a great job and was very attentive to my concerns. I had a wonderful experience and found the salon to be very upbeat. Will definitely return!

I went in here last Thursday for a haircut, everything was good, clean shop, very friendly staff. I got the cut by one of their new staff, she was very kind. The haircut is a bit short on the top, but the sides are perfect and overall it looks good. I will say, the product recommendation of Paul Mitchell has been working great at moisturizing my hair and keeping my curls!
