I had a frustrating experience at Great Clips in Westchase, Tampa, and felt compelled to share. While I had no issues with the haircuts themselves, the customer service was absolutely terrible. The employees were rude and seemed to lack any basic people skills. I’ve visited this location three times, hoping for improvement, but each time was worse than the last. As a business owner myself for over 40 years, I know how crucial proper customer service is. It’s not just about cutting hair; it’s about creating a welcoming atmosphere. The owner should be ashamed of the staff’s behavior. Employees must be trained to treat customers with respect, even when tensions run high. I won’t be returning, and I hope they address this serious issue.

Today my kids went for hair cut at this location and I regret my decision for going to this location as the Asian Lady and another Lady don’t understand the language and both my kids now have barely any hair left on their Head as I explained clearly and show them the picture of hair cut too and now my kids with no hair style looking almost bald and they have to attend School like that and one of my kid had a cut on his ear too Please save your time and money for not going to this location..

YAMI is awesome she took me late right before closing time with a smile and I must mention a perfect hair cut 🤩 I asked Dawn to make my hair look just like a celebrity's and she did. She is awesome and I can’t wait for my hair to grow back and I can get it cut from her beautiful hands. She told me that she’s been there about a year and I hope she never leaves. TELL EM BIG AL SENT YA!

My stylist Dawn at the Westchase location is awesome, I showed her a picture of the cut that I wanted and she did not disappoint. Great customer service and goes way beyond to please get customers, this is why I drive 40 minutes just to get a haircut.

What a waste of time and money!!! Everytime my husband goes to this place, there is a different individual working. He came home with one side bald!!! Worst place ever!!! Supposedly this is picture is #1!!!! Yami, I think you might want to consider training again!!!

Dawn is awesome! I've been following her for years. She listens carefully to instructions and isn't one of those hair dressers who ignores your concerns. She does everything from cuts to colors to balyage. It's a shame they don't do color at this salon.

Lizmar did a hair cut for my 3.8 yr old son, she did a fantastic work. My son was very nervous and is afraid of trimmer so she did the complete hair cut with scissor very painfully. She also interacted very well with my son to calm him down and make him feel relaxed. It was the first salon haircut for my child and i am impressed with the way Lizmar dealt with it!

Seems to have hired some good cutters but if you can avoid the petite Asian lady the better off you will be - she absolutely has no idea how to treat hair and butchers her way through it. Sorry but it is what it is… The service quality is really gone down at this location - they want to increase the price to stay competitive but please deliver the quality then. First it’s the communication problem - none of them seem to understand what is being asked to be done unless there is this young lady manning the counter. Then the cut itself has so many problems - like they will cut the sides well but but not reduce volume really - so it does not feel like you had the hair cut; then sometimes someone will be done in like 7 mins with no finesse and finishing touches. For the last 5 times it has been a disappointment coming out of here. Maybe it’s time to take the business somewhere else.

Went for my son’s hair cut. The lady who cut his hair, dint clean the clippers. We told her that there were white hair on her clippers and she dint even accept that and we could see that on our son’s head. She was also very harsh and inefficient. Would suggest to go to another great clips center and avoid this one.

Literally worst haircut of my life do not go here. She didn’t brush my hair all the way so the tangles were still there when she cut it, she wet some of it but not all, she did not check to see if it was even or do any of the basics of a simple straight light haircut. Looks like someone took a chainsaw to my hair. It’s so uneven. Heading to a real salon now to get it fixed as I’m almost in tears.
