I followed my favorite and longtime hair stylist Caitlin to Greenhouse and she was excellent as always but I was also SO impressed by Greenhouse’s service. They truly provide a luxury experience, it’s clean, the people are all really great, and you’ll walk out looking perfect. They offer beverages, have lil robes, and comfy seating. Also sell plants and hair-styling crèmes and whatnot. Overall great, and I will be coming back! (They also have a rotating pair of shop doggies, which is a huge added bonus imo)

I’m newer to Philly and had gone to another salon before Greenhouse and had a terrible experience.. I was apprehensive about trying a new place but I’m so so happy I found Greenhouse Salon! I always feel refreshed walking out the door and I always know I’m in good hands. I highlight my hair and like getting layers and they’ve always delivered (at a reasonable price IMO). I also love that you can book directly online and there aren’t crazy hoops to jump through to get an appt (something that surprised me at other salons). I cannot recommend them enough - especially if you went through a horror story with another salon 😆

One of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had! Sydni was so nice and welcoming and gave me the perfect color for my partial highlights. 100% would recommend to this salon to anyone and everyone!

Kyle has been working with me for about a year and is literally the best! He has the patience of a saint! He helped me with color correction during my first few visits, listened to what was working and not, and just gave me the cutest + bounciest cut that really suits my personality and is easy to style. Very consistent stylist but happy to mix it up to freshen my look! Everyone in the salon is so friendly. It is really a comfortable place to get a top notch style that rivals other salons in Philly. Have been referring friends who also agree! Thanks Kyle! Thanks Greenhouse! You are amazing!!!

Had a wonderful experience at Greenhouse Salon this afternoon. Katie gave me the perfect sandy brown/blonde and somehow knew just what I wanted even as a first time client. I could not be happier. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks Katie and team!

Hands down the best salon experience I have ever had! Katie is incredibly friendly, skilled, and creative. She helped me put words to the style I was looking for and ended up giving me the best cut + most natural-looking blonde color I've ever had. Not to mention, they have decorated the salon beautifully to create a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend :)

I went to Darcell to have my hair cut after years of growing it in frustration. She listened to what I wanted and more than delivered. It was so refreshing to walk out of the salon with a haircut that I could be proud of. My hair now has movement and volume. She even taught me some tips and techniques to help tame some of the problems I have with styling my hair. I left feeling confident with myself and that when I return for coloring services, I'm so glad to know there is a stylist I trust. While I don't live in Philly anymore, I will continue driving out for her service. The salon itself was clean and calming. The rest of the staff was attentive and helpful from the time I checked in to the time I left. This salon definitely deserves the 5 star review.

🤬🤬🤬The stylist that cut my hair. HE TRULY SUCKED!!! He had no idea how to cut my cowlick! He TRULY SUCKED!!! Also he barely cut my hair by only cutting about a quarter inch if that much !!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE EVER AGAIN!!! Yeah you can rectify my experience,you can GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! I HAD TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET MY HAIR CORRECTED from my original stylist at LOTUS HAIR SALON,because the sides of my hair was uneven so she had to shave the sides to bare skin so when can grow back in again to the point WHERE she could make it even again!!!!!!! Plus THERE WERE SOME UNEVEN PLACES IN OTHER PLACES ON MY HEAD THAT SHE HAD TO CORRECT TO MAKE IT EVEN ONCE AGAIN!!! IN my opinion I wouldn't recommend ANY GUY TO GO THERE IF YOU ARE SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT YOUR HAIR LIKE I AM ABOUT MY OWN HAIR!!!SHE NEEDS TO FIRE HIM!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I learned my lesson about trying out a new salon and not going to my stylist that I have been going to for years!!!

I’ve been a customer Sydni’s for almost 20 years. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. I’ve since started letting Katie have fun with my hair because I always leaving feeling fresh and beautiful and it’s always a relaxing a great time at Greenhouse Salon! I trust them implicitly!

Kyle was very personable and gave me the opportunity to describe what I wanted for my color and trim. I have natural curly hair which makes me apprehensive of just any haircut because it styles completely different when straight versus curly, however I’m very satisfied with my long layers! The color was also perfect and very natural! Loved my blowout as well.

I’ve been going to Katie for blonde balayage for a little over 3 years, and she NEVER disappoints. Not only is she an expert in her trade, but she is so easy and fun to be around. The new salon is so gorgeous and comfortable. Every little detail is perfection. I picked up a great product after my last service, too. Anyone who wants a kiss of blonde and amazing technique needs to go see Katie at Greenhouse ASAP!!

Katie has been coloring and cutting my hair for 7 years. I can’t recommend her more highly and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my blonde. I used to live in NYC but would book hair appointments with her on visits to Philly. I’ve followed her to various salons over the years and am so excited she’s finally opened her own space. It’s a beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing salon. They are covid conscious and checking vaccination status. Definitely recommend - the best colorist in Philly!

Katie has been cutting and coloring my hair for a few years now. She is truly pro at blonding - she's taken me from brown hair to Phoebe Bridgers white-blonde to natural sun-kissed balayage and highlights and helped me grow out some wild color I did elsewhere beautifully. She's given me the best bob/short haircut of my life and helped me healthily grow it out when I was feeling long hair. I've never had someone I've gone to consistently for cut and color until Katie, and now I can obviously never leave Philadelphia. I'm so thrilled that she and Sydni have their own salon now - it's clean, comfortable, COVID conscious, and truly a lovely space. 10/10 recommend for the best cut and color!

Katie is my hair angel, and Greenhouse Salon is heaven. I always leave Katie feeling a million bucks, and when I heard that she was opening her own salon, it was just the icing on the cake. I honestly can't say enough good things about it – from the hair wash (and amazing scalp massage), to the champagne I was offered.. this place is the bomb. LOVE yourself and book a pampering ASAP.

This salon is brand new to the neighborhood, but Sydni has been cutting my hair for years! The space is bright, fresh, spacious, and really inviting - not stuffy or pretentious in any way! I got my hair cut by Sydni and it was great! She always goes above and beyond to listen to what I'm looking for in a cut and offers suggestions based on what is possible for my hair. The cuts are always executed perfectly and I always leave her chair so happy! She's also done color for me in the past - always natural looking and subtle. I get so many compliments! I've never worked with Katie, the other stylist who was in, but I have to mention that her client's hair also looked great! Also, their products!! I love anything that smells good and their products did not disappoint. I will be looking to take some home next time, really liked the Evo texture spray she used! Great salon, great stylists, and a super convenient location! I can't say enough good things - really loved and recommend this salon.
