Got my first haircut here with Amy. She did an amazing job and it was a very pleasant service. I took off a significant amount and she did exactly what I asked and gave me the feedback I needed before the cut. I was absolutely happy with the results. The salon has a very chill vibe.

Amy is the best stylist ever - Wandered last year after going without a cut for a very long time and spontaneously asked her to do my hair. She blew me away with that first cut, she really listens and makes sure to give me exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve been a client for the past year and I’ve never been let down. Gregga Prothero gave me the BEST haircut I’ve ever had in my life! No exaggeration. She knew exactly what I was trying to explain and envision. I really appreciate that the salon sends out a form to fill out where I could include reference photos and explain what I was going for prior to the haircut. I think that makes the experience a lot better because the stylist and the client have a little bit more understanding prior to when they actually meet for the haircut. I am very loyal to the hairstylist. I’ve had over the last 20 years and I’m really happy to say that I found Gregga. Also, the interior of the salon is gorgeous and they have excellent styling products. The value for the service I got was incredible. I highly suggest if you would like to find a new salon you can stay loyal to that you check out Gregga LA. I’ll be back!

Thank you Monica for an amazing cut and experience ! Gregga LA is a cute, cozy salon with plenty of parking available and easy accessibility. The space is clean, tidy and very welcoming. It's a breeze to make an appointment online and they are very conscientious to creating a comfortable, pleasant experience for you. I've been getting my hair cut by Monica who is so warm, kind and highly skilled. She takes the time with you to check-in and truly hear out your vision. She is fantastic at what she does while genuinely making you look and feel your best. Ever since I started getting my hair cut by her every day is a great hair day ! Her cuts grow out amazing too which is another testament to her skill and expertise. Not to mention she's super cool, funny and just an all around sweet person. Thank you to Monica for the cute cut and helping me feel comfortable and seen as my truest self ! I'm telling all my friends to go to Gregga. Loved Amy and her work! She did an amazing job, and took her time to ask me about my hair, while we did my consultation. She took her time to wash, cut and style, while cutting a bit more after she styled to get my looking as great as possible! She was so nice as well and she had a great vibe! Will definitely be coming back!

Since moving to LA during the pandemic, I hadn’t gone to a hair salon in so long, but I learned to cut my hair myself. Time passes, and I start to want to find a place, but where? I found out about Gregga LA through the gram and had been eyeing to get a haircut from here. I finally did today and will come again! Bella was my stylist and she was very friendly and attentive to what I wanted done. The salon is also super welcoming and cute. I’ll also note that my sense of time has been poor, so I did not mean to schedule my appointment at the last minute before wedding travel plans, but the website was easy to navigate and book!

if i wasn’t a girls’ girl i would try to gatekeep this place at all costs but everyone should have access to the great Amy B at Gregga LA. A true chemist, she gave me the Cherry Cola hair of my dreams. Not to mention that she cut my hair in like three minutes and given that I was so blown away by her coloring job, I didn’t realize right away that this might also be one of the best hair cuts of my life?? 10/10 would recommend. Amy is very stuck with me as her client for life

This place is so great. I’m not someone who gets my hair cut often, I don’t want anything fancy, just healthy. The intake was SO helpful to figure exactly what I was looking for and Any was a dream. I’ve never been so excited about a haircut! Will definitely be back (:

Not an exaggeration: this is the best haircut I have had in more than a decade. I've been searching for a hairdresser that is not only skilled, but also intuitive and emotionally intelligent- It's a big ask, but I finally found Amy and I am forever a superfan. Amy was fantastic. I talked and showed pictures, she listened and extrapolated and gave me the most amazing cut. To show just how great this cut is, I'm posting a before pic where I'm in full make-up and spent about 30 minutes styling my hair and the after pic that I literally just shot while writing this review. I haven't even combed my hair this morning!! I woke up like this!!!!! I think this cut makes me look 10 years younger and a million times more confident. Thanks Amy!! xox

I’m very very VERY satisfied with my cut! So glad I made an appointment. Monica was my hairstylist and she did an amazing job. I’m so happy with the way my hair looks now. I was nervous in the beginning. Mainly because I had been going with the same barber for a very long time, so putting my trust into someone new can be risky. I’m so happy I took the risk because Monica did her thing. I’m definitely coming back for maintenance and possibly to dye my hair. The new cut has me feeling cute and confident! Monica always gives the best haircuts and her skills with a boar bristle brush and hair dryer are unmatched. I came in after months after a less than stellar haircut from elsewhere. I never really know what to do with my hair, and am not great at communicating what I want. Monica listened patiently, we came up with a plan since what I was into wasn’t possible with the hair I walked in with, and the cut and styling was really great. My hair looked fresh outta the salon for three days! This was my second time getting a cut and she remembered what we had discussed. Always happy with the experience, thanks!

Absolutely wonderful experience. This salon is a truly safe space. This is the first salon I've ever been to that has expressed this level of care and respect, allowing YOU, the client, to preemptively inform their awesome stylists about your needs. The booking process is rad as hell. Offering a variety of prompts to customize your experience, you get to specify the social aspects of your appointment like whether or not you want to chat, be quiet or even be silent. Truly, truly lovely.

Amy really really did an incredible cut on my hair that desperately needed shaping. I’ve always gotten long layers done and this time opted for some shorter layers and curtain bangs. She took her time and my hair looks so healthy and voluminous. I’ve already gotten so many compliments. I think I found my forever hairdresser!
