I recently had my hair cut and styled here with Jayne. It was a last-minute appointment, and she was so accommodating! I have very long wavy hair, and previous salons would always cut more than requested. But Jayne trimmed just enough to maintain the lengthy locks and cleaned everything up front to back, updating the look significantly. She's very sweet and sensible, with a refreshingly natural talent. I'll be back for sure... If not for a haircut, definitely for a blowout!

Molly took my hair from bleached and broken to a gorgeous red-brown. She has a gorgeous mix of patience and knowledge that leads to AMAZING hair. The whole environment of the salon was welcoming and was just a comfortable environment to be in. Deeming this the best salon in Seattle - my hair has never looked or felt better!

I have been coming to see Molly here for many many years! She is so wonderful 🦋 By far the best colorist I have ever had! She is so talented at her craft and has the best eye! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. Such a wonderful neighborhood salon;)

They cut my hair shorter than I had previously requested. The cut is uneven (even after I pointed out and she tried to fix it). And layering left much to be desired. I paid $120 + tips for a super choppy haircut…

日本人にもおすすめ。3割近くアジア人のクライアントで、日本人もいるそうです。 シアトルの美容室は高いのでリスクを犯したくないのもあり、今までは頑張って日本人系美容室に通っていました。ですが、近所で行けるところがないか勇気を出して行ってみたところ、結果的に大正解。普通にめっちゃ可愛い仕上がりで、日本人サロンじゃなくても日本人好み。カラーも得意らしいサロンだからなのか、髪の色と質に合ったスタイルになりました。 私は、日本人の美容師さんに行くと、ほとんど必ずと言っていいほど、髪の毛が難しいと言われます。細いけど量が多くその上に癖毛なので、難しい、すぐ広がると思う、などとよく言われます。そのせいもあり、広がりやすいショートヘアはまあまあ敬遠してたりしてました。ですが、日本人美容師さんには扱いが難しい癖毛でも、ここでは色んな人種のさまざまな癖毛を扱い慣れているからなのか、簡単にまとまるようにしてくれてびっくりしました。(私の担当はジルさん、ショートが得意でした。他のスタッフさんもアジア人のヘア扱い慣れてるようです。) 癖毛で扱いにくいと日本人美容師さんに言われる方もおすすめです。 今までは日本人の美容師さんにこだわり、だいぶ前から予約をしたり遠くまでそのためだけに行って苦労していました。これからは近所で日本系美容室かそれ以上のクオリティのカットを楽しめて嬉しいです。 ということで西洋人系美容室に行くの不安だった方、ここはおすすめです〜(私はジルさんでした)。色々な人種の人と言葉だけでないコミュニケーションをとっているからか、写真を見せればイメージの理解もすぐしてくれます。日本帰る前とかに焦って身だしなみを整える時にも(笑)いいと思います(日本でもウケる感じの、アメリカすぎないヘアスタイルにちゃんとしてくれます！) ヘアカット後、前髪は無料でカットしてくれるらしいのでアフターケアもあって安心して前髪も作れます。ぜひおすすめ。

I got a haircut from Molly, and she was incredibly rude. She said “oh” instead of hello or any sort of greeting. Before touching my hair, she put on gloves and made sure to tell me “it’s been a long time since I’ve had to wear gloves while doing this”, so that I would know it wasn’t her standard practice. Within the first few minutes, she asked me question after question about what I usually do with my hair until she finally said “oh!! I figured out what’s wrong with your scalp”… I did not realize something was wrong with my scalp and had definitely not asked her. She also said that I probably wasn’t from around here, and that my pillows were probably moldy because I wash my hair at night. My pillows are NOT moldy. And if she had asked she would have known that I use a microfiber towel and my hair air dries before bed. I was fighting back tears almost the entire appointment. She also asked where I live. I told her I live in Greenwood, and she told me a story about how there were a lot of rats in the houses in Greenwood. Ok? Overall, just got the vibe that she was absolutely disgusted with me. She is great with hair, but huge mean girl energy. I’ve also gotten my hair done by Hannah and Jayne and they are both so sweet and very talented.

Had a great haircut with Jayne. She did a bit of a massage while washing my hair and applied a hair mask since my hair was very dry. Greatly appreciate it! She cut my hair perfectly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Great salon and friendly team.

Very happy with my first visit to Grow Salon. Emma is a skilled stylist who knew just what to do with my unruly curly hair. She also took the time to listen and find out what I wanted instead of pushing styles or products on me. Prices are very reasonable and I love the salon's vibe. Grow and Emma have earned a new customer!

Grow is an amazing salon with the most welcoming and accommodating team. From feeling welcomed upon checkin, to the incredible communication from stylists to achieve the exact look I’m looking for, I have been a repeat customer for the last 5 years. I love that they’re an eco-salon and use less damaging products for bleaching.

I decided to get a bleach and tone with Emma for the first time, and had an amazing experience with her. She made me feel comfortable and walked me through the options available, and I walked out with a great cut and fun color. The studio is very inviting and I loved my time there.

I’ve been seeing Melissa T since around 2020, my hair is the most stubborn mess and not only has she been able to bleach and dye it several colors that have gotten me endless compliments, she’s also terrific at educating you on appropriate haircare and what products fit your needs best. She’s also handling my Brazilian blowout treatments while keeping the integrity of my hair in mind. My hair’s still pretty healthy as a result of her expertise

Lauren is a miracle worker! She turned my bleached out, damaged, green tinted hair into a blonde masterpiece. I will definitely be going back to see her for future haircuts, styling, and dyes. The price for a haircut and full balayage was fantastic. Everyone was professional and very friendly. I most definitely recommend Grow!

Just had my first experience and it was amazing! The salon is clean, quiet and comfortable. Was offered a drink as soon as I walked in. Hannah did an incredible job with my cut, could not recommend her or the salon enough.
