I'm so happy to find a hairstylist that specializes in natural hair. Vonda did a good job on my hair. I was a little too impressed. I remember telling her on the phone the length of my hair and how thick it was. All she said was, "Okay". She ain't new to this, she true to this lol.💁🏽‍♀️ My hair has NEVER been this straight before. We talked about how she would trim my ends and how much she would take off before she ever started cutting. The back of my hair was the longest, so she cut off about an inch and a half and I still had hair going down my back lol. I had her wash, blow dry, straighten, and trim it. Also, the salon was clean. She had some old school RnB music playing and it wasn't sexual. I sat in the chair and the entire time, we talked about how I could better maintain my hair. She even affirmed in how well I have been taking care of my hair. I had some doubts about it, but she was like, no you're doing a good job. She wasn't asking me all my personal business nor giving me information about other folks. She kept the conversation very professional. Also, she gave the glory to God about her business. I appreciated hearing that. I'll be back in 3 months to upkeep my trim and actually let my hair grow long and healthy. This woman really does have growing hair hands. Growing Hands, what a perfect name for this salon.

Highly recommend these services she was so passionate when washing my scalp all I wanted to do was go to sleep. You can tell her products aren't cheap by the way they make your hair feel and she's a great stylist and whom takes great pride in her work. I left excited and I came back and I will be back again thank you so much for your kind hospitality in best hands ever in my head 🗣️!

I go to this place for my eye brows. Not sure of the owner name but she charge $20 and it's worth it. Every other place tells me my brows are too thin for an arch but this lady gets me right everytime

I do not even know where to start!! This has been the MOST amazing hair service I have received in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! I went in for a one layered braid (i.e cornrows). I just showed LaVonda a picture and she DELIVERRTT! My favorite part of the appointment was getting my hair washed by her. It was an indescribable experience. It felt as if I was in hair heaven. The hair wash touched my spirit. It was a deliverance session from all the hate my hair has received. My hair has NEVER received so much love like it did on this day. This woman put a hot towel on my hair and massage it the heck out of my scalp.. I will just leave that there. When it came to the braiding part, I am tender headed and my hair is really short, so I was expecting some form of pain. I kid you not when I say I felt no form of pain whatsoever. I didn't grunt, I didn't squint/or munch my face throughout the entire procedure. She was so gentle. It was hair romance. This is hair love. Mind you, I am writing this lengthy review all from the first impression. You know what they say about first impressions. This woman is gifted, she is anointed for hair. If you are a woman in Tulsa especially a black woman and you NEVER sat in her chair, then baby girl you are missing out!!
