The new owners are no good. I will never sit with Rosie. She did do what I wanted and I walked away with a cut that was messy. Never ever again!!!!

My hairstylist Hortencia is one of the best colorist. Absolutely love my layers and color. I’ve been seeing her for over 4 years and would give her 20 Stars if I could. Lots of patience. Highly recommend her to all of my friends.

“I had an exceptional experience at this salon during my first visit, which happened by chance. The hairstylist, Hortencia, demonstrated outstanding professionalism and skill. I requested a dark red, wine-like shade for my hair. Despite my hair being naturally very curly and dark, she carefully achieved the desired color without using bleach—a result that truly exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail and expertise left a lasting impression. I highly recommend her work. She was extremely careful with my hair and did not leave it damaged!! Highly recommend ♥️♥️♥️

Hortencia did an awesome job on my teenager's hair. It was the first time she's ever colored it, and she is absolutely thrilled with the results. She got long layers and face framing cut with teal ends. Hortencia let us know about color depositing conditioner and some basics of colored hair maintenance. I'll definitely go back to her for daughter's touch ups.

I chose to come here for a cut & color as a birthday treat for myself and I’m so glad I did! I definitely should’ve taken before & after photos - I had long, brown hair to my hips, and Rosie was my stylist. She did a spectacular job cutting, styling, and dying my hair to a beautiful red shade. I am absolutely in love with my hair, and the service I received was wonderful. I cannot praise this place any higher!

I walked in without an appointment at 1:00 on a Thursday, and was taken immediately. Rosie worked fast and with confidence. I asked for a 2" trim of a layered cut and she did a great job!

I was recommended to go with Rosie by a friend and I am so glad I did! I didn’t have an appointment, I just called beforehand and asked if they had time for a haircut and color and they said they were taking walk-ins. I called at 12 pm on a Saturday and but didn’t actually go in until around 1 pm. They close at 3 pm on Saturdays and considering how long a color usually takes, Rosie still took me in which I really appreciate! I showed 3 pictures of the color I wanted and she gave me the EXACT SAME thing; I was shocked at how accurate the color I got was. I asked for a long layered (capas largas) haircut and the shortest layers were superrr short, but I’m no professional at haircuts so perhaps what I got was exactly what I asked for. I saw how short she was about to cut a piece of hair and I could’ve stopped it but I trusted the process. I’m glad I did because I was wanting something new and different to what I had before, so I really liked the haircut! She styled my hair after the cut and it was gorgeousss! I honestly don’t really style my hair but with this haircut I think it would be better if I did so I’m definitely going to be buying a styling tool to show the haircut off. Rosie was so kind and funny! The other employees seemed really nice too, and I noticed they were quick with the haircuts they gave, they were nice cuts too! The color and cut were so quick, the whole process took maybe 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was out pretty much right at their closing time! Overall, great experience and I will definitely go back the next time I am looking to retouch or try a different hair color or cut! Highly recommend!

I was seen today without an appointment by Rosie. for highlights, and to have color added back in. Rosie did an outstanding job, she was kind, friendly, made me fell welcome, I am impressed to see how she corrected my hair. It now looks fuller, healthier, and feels as light as a feather. Rosie at Guys and Dolls turned me into a totally new woman. I brought in two different inspo pics for my color and cut and she turned it into MAGIC!!!! She checked with me during everything to make sure I was happy. I’ve never been so thrilled with a hair stylist before. As long as we are both in San Antonio, no one else will ever touch my hair. (before with blondish/brown dead hair and after with black hair and copper highlights) 10/10 recommend Guys and Dolls and especially Rosie!

Amazing!! Rosie took one look at the picture I brought how I wanted my hair- she told me to have a seat, asked her assistant to bring her this color and that color, she winked at me and said," that's how you want your hair- OKAY, . . YOUR GOING TO LOVE IT!" I was so impressed with her confidence I was excited thinking I was going to have my hair turn out like I wanted it. I got a color with highlights a haircut and style. Done in a little over an hour. Exactly like the picture....but better! Impressive Amazed, very happy, BEAUTIFUL......AND I HAD A GOOD TIME. ROSIE IS A GREAT HAIR STYLIST making it all about you,.... And giving you the look that you want. She's really that good.

I must say that after moving here from West Palm Beach, Fl it has been difficult to find a salon that knows how to handle my hair type, but Hortencia rescued me from someone else's botched hair cut. I have very curly hair, and she did an amazing job on fixing my uneven layers! I believe I finally found my new place to pamper myself!
