As a Portland, Oregon transplant and licensed cosmetologist myself, my standards are high, and it's been a long journey to finally find the right stylist—how I wish I had discovered Gwynne sooner. I have great respect for professionals who continue honing their craft beyond licensing, and Gwynne exemplifies this with her extensive background in both education and hands-on expertise. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring every client leaves with flawless hair is evident. The salon itself is pristine, the products are top-of-the-line, and the kindness you experience feels genuine. I'm thrilled to have found my forever hair home with Gwynne—what a relief! I get color, cut and blow dry when I visit the salon. The color is always spot on. I’m a redhead and my color is not easy to make it look natural. Duane does a fantastic job as a colorist. He always does a beautiful job with my cut and blow dry.

As always, my hair appointment and visit with Duane was exceptional! I am treated like family by Duane - he does the BEST job ever with my hair and I leave feeling like a new, refreshed person! Gwynne and Madison are awesome too! I was fortunate enough to have a 10 minute head massage from Madison during this visit and it was heavenly! I came in my first time on Friday for a wash and Blowdry and had a wonderful experience. Madison did such a great job with my Blowdry my hair looked beautiful, was so soft and I loved the bounce and volume . Very happy will definitely be back !!

I always look forward to catching up with Duane during our appointments- he's so fun to talk to. He got my hair to it's happy place and I love the cut and color. He even made the nice suggestion to lighten it up for the summer and it looks great! Hair care is a treat with Duane! The salon is also beautiful and the whole staff is friendly!

I give them a three star because at the end of my experience it was good quality work. But overall a bad day from the start……I made an appointment awhile back I showed up 15mins early because I had a very important event I had to be getting ready for and they where the only salon that would take me. I running late on my own clock so I woke up and just went there dressed in sweats and a black T-shirt. Mind you I had a funeral to attend so I was trying to get my hair done before my clothes, and I watched this lady get buzzed into the door. Well I stood out there missing my appointment looking at the window knowing they saw me and was judging me based on how I was dressed and would t let me in. I knocked, called, for about 10mins then I sat on the side of the door just crying. I already had so much on plate, I just wanted my hair done to feel alive before getting ready for a funeral and they couldn’t even bother to open the stupid door. Then some old nice lady walked by saw me crying an I explained to her I had an appointment she then tapped on the door and they opened it for her so I followed right behind her. They all where so confused but I explained to them I had an appointment showed them an all. Their next words of choice to me was ooh I didn’t see you as I tapped on the door one made eye contact with me, or how I tapped on the window or even better I called. You should never judge a book by it’s cover, I am definitely someone who had money to dress well it was already a late day to begin with and the fact of the matter is they saw me and judge me then proceeded to ignore my appointment set until someone else (customer) came back. I would recommend their work for sure did a good job but experience overall I wouldn’t wanna feel like that ever again.

I've only had 2 appointments so far. One for a blow out and the second for highlights and let me tell you, Gwynne is the best. I have received so many compliments on my hair. I absolutely love this salon and they sell my favorite products. My hair color is beautiful and has dimension. Thank you so much Gwynne
