PLEASE READ: My 12 yr daughter & I met Miss Gypsy for the first time on 01/24 & she was very customer friendly & welcoming. We both enjoyed our visit w/ her, as I accompanied my daughter during her scheduled “The Works” Appt. This appt. included a wash, conditioning treatment, trim & silk press/style. She was very professional yet treated us with kindness & took her time on my daughter’s hair. She listened to our questions concerns & the history of our hair struggles, & also offered professional advising on products to use with hair maintenance tools & styles to start a journey of healthy hair grow. Miss Gyspy ensured to welcome us back to start routine visits, & how to accomplish a healthy hair routine at home. You don’t meet many people like Miss Gyspy in today’s world; kind, down to earth yet experienced & she showed us that our business mattered. I referred her to my family members who are seeking a stylist that care about hair maintenance & your business. I will be back to start routine visits for myself & 3 young girls with this HAIR GURU! I’ve finally found a quality hair dresser for people of color in the Gahanna area, and she has won me over with one visit! I wrapped it that night, and my hair had Hollywood-level volume the next day. I was thoroughly impressed by Miss Gypsy's services. I am grateful to know that she has tailored her services to promote and maintain healthy, natural hair. The education she provides for self-care between visits is also invaluable. Services: Silk press with treatment, trim, layers and big body curls for volume.

I have been going to Gypsy for a very long time now , maybe about 6-9 years and I will NOT go elsewhere where, I absolutely love her service, Gypsy will deliver for RESULTS!!!! She really cares about people’s natural hair and how to care for it, I love her energy, and her hospitality. She will not jeopardize your hair! But what you want is what she gives, she educates you about your hair and different products to use for hair growth! She is an amazing hair stylist ❤️

When I came here to get my hair done, my expectations were exceeded! The lady is very kind and welcoming, and her unit is nice looking and kept clean. I trust Gypsy with my hair she makes sure to take good care of it. She was able to give me good advice on how to take care of my hair and tell me how to fix damage. I didn’t feel uncomfortable with her. If you’re planing on getting you hair done here it’s a good idea!

I found Gypsy through a quick Google search and I am so glad I picked her. Her communication was great, she was flexible and friendly. I haven’t been to a salon in 10 years and I was wary of what my experience may turn out to be like… but Gypsy put that all to rest quickly. She was patient and detangled my hair as gently as she could. She was accommodating to my faith and lovely! I would come back, even if it is an hours drive from home. She also sings beautifully and I just enjoyed her presence overall. I’m a natural and I came for a silk press and left satisfied with my service!

Now that I'm fully natural, I go to Gypsy to care for my hair. She does the best silk press in the business! It can last for 2-3 weeks before returning to my natural curl pattern. She styles well, but she also cares for your hair's overall health and growth. She is professional, personable, and kind. I trust her completely with my and my family's hair care needs!

First of all Gypsy is a kind and pleasant person which is always nice for a customer. I get silk presses from her and she does such a good job that I get compliments everywhere I go especially when my hair is curled. She also offers twist outs and other styles as needed. I find her prices reasonable and I always give her a good tip because she does a great job. I would recommend her to anyone that needs Professional Care and likes a pleasant atmosphere.

Gypsy has been doing my hair for 5 years now and also does my daughters hair. If you listen to her when it comes to the care of your hair, scalp, color and weave you will have healthy hair! She does not lie just to make a buck and does what's best for the health of your hair. And sometimes will even tell you the uncomfortable truth when necessary. When I do the recommended treatments and care for my hair it's healthy shiny and manageable. I would recommend Gypsy to anyone looking to actually make their hair healthy. And NOT trying to look like they have hair down to their waist when it's never grown past their neck.

Gypsy has been my stylist forever. She's always done a magnificent job of saving my hair from being the absolute wreck that my neglect often leaves it in. As a busy mom with a full-time job, my own business, and schooling, I often forget to take care of myself, but Gypsy gets me completely together and gets my hair done so well that I immediately feel like a supermodel. Plus, it's always much healthier after she's done with it. Fantastic job every single time! She also did my boyfriend's hair once, completely managing to detangle the mats, restore the hair, and get him back to looking civilized. She's the best!!

I have been getting my hair done by Gypsy for nearly 4 years now. I never feel the need to go anywhere else. I was ashamed the first time I sat in her chair because I knew my hair was damaged and what I thought was beyond repair. But over the years, she has really transformed my hair. Other hair stylists would do my hair but would never mention my hair damage or what could be done to make my hair better. Gypsy has educated me on my hair along the way. I know she truly cares not just for her clients hair but for their health as well. I knew this when she decided to stop relaxers as it can be damaging to hair but also health. She takes pride in natural hair care. I never thought I could live without relaxers! But here I am 2 years since I've had a relaxer and I won't go back!! My hair is the healthiest it's ever been! I have been going to Gypsy for almost 5yrs now! She unders my scalp needs, recommends products like peppermint treatmentsfor my psoriasis. Always remembers i need my protein & deep conditioning treatments. Outside of appointments I use the same products, (shampoo conditoners edge control even her bonnets) bought from her, to maintain my upkeep. She understood my color vision I wanted and definitelyyyyyy delivered. I've had my 7yr old start going to her for 3 years now to help maintain her healthy hair and ends. Its an enjoyable experience. Nice to have someone who actually cares about your hair and listens to your concerns!!

I took some time thinking before I wrote this review and finally decided to, so that the same thing does not happen to someone else. I loved this hairstylist but she betrayed my trust by putting relaxer in my hair that I never asked for. This is something that is very difficult to prove but I have given her the benefit of doubt and checked with three other stylists and one suggested that I do the big chop, but they all asked if I put relaxer in and said if I didn't that it's over processed. Protect your hair and do not go to her she is untrustworthy. *Update-- And she obviously does not take accountability for her actions on top of all of this. My hair is ruined and I have no reason to lie especially because I liked her so much. I hope she lives with her guilt I am moving on and learning from my mistakes of being too trusting.

The hair did not look good charged $130 to look like a mess. She was 30 minutes late and brought her adult cousins/family to sit the room with me..which was a little weird to me. You can literally see the tracks in the back of my head. It took her 5 hours to do a simple style. I had to buy a wig immediately after this. She’s a good and nice lady and she is good at silk press just not haircuts or weave. Update: I know this is late…but I’m just seeing this…but she’s being dishonest unfortunately. And I don’t think that’s cool. She told me 1 hour before that she was going to 30 minutes late. I did not see this as I had to get a new phone my phone got stolen. After that was like I’ll just wait 30 minutes, I’m trying to be gracious with her because she MORE THAN 30 minutes late. My spirit was telling me leave, this is sign to leave. SHE BEGGED ME to stay. She said “5 more minutes” three times. I even told her we can reschedule…the fact that she is lying is WEIRD. She said my hair was thin and damaged…OKAY BUT I just have low density type 4 hair. And I have done this style a million times it never looks like this. Go on my review pages…in fact I’ll add pictures to show other stylist who has done this same style in two hours WITH SILK PRESS, WASH, SHAMPOO, WEFT. I just wanted to be fancy thinking I was going to salon loft 😂😂. I left because the hair was looking a mess and started crying. Even my ride started laughing at me when I came out 😂😂😂 She is not skilled at all with sew ins. The fact she’s charge $20 per line is crazy. And it takes her 30 minutes to sew down one track. She doesn’t even double the track for fuller look. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. It’s too obvious. Fake it till you make it I guess. Even I can do a better job. She’s good at silk press but that’s about it. She said one was doing their hair LOL. Why are they waiting with me in that small ash room 🤣🤣🤣?? They can wait outside like I did when you were late. Salon loft has a huge waiting room OUTSIDE the designated area for stylist. Lady idk why you’re lying shows bad customer service. All the reviews must be from other family members because you’re very very unprofessional. Again I think she’s hurt by the review that’s why she’s lying. She has good energy, and her hands doesn’t have bad spirit but her skill set doesn’t match her prices at all. She was practicing in my head I can’t.

Gypsy was wonderful and I definitely will be going back to her. My hair and brows look amazing, she talked me through everything she was doing. Gypsy was also so very considerate with me, being that I wear hijab and she covered her windows (which made me feel so comfortable). She also gave me some tips for keeping my hair healthy at home.

I have enjoyed the Keratin treatment. I have purchased the after care products and enjoy using them as well. The Decca Satin Tame the Decca satin pomade also the Decca scalp Therapy also other products for after care. I have noticed a considerable difference in my hair, since coming to Gypsy for my hair care needs. My hair has become fuller longer, silky here and manageable. It's hard to find a good hair stylist on the westside. I'm super grateful to have found Gypsy. She was professional, hospitable and I just enjoyed the experience over all. Will definitely be coming back! My pics were taken 2 days after my silk press. Btw
