I’ve been going to HC Studio for over three years now, and I can’t say enough good things about Samantha! She’s the only person I trust with my hair. Her attention to detail is amazing, and she always keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy. It’s so reassuring to have someone who genuinely cares about her work. The salon itself is also wonderful—always clean and welcoming. The front desk staff are super friendly and make the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend HC Studio, especially Samantha!

I was initially impressed when I arrived at the salon—the staff was welcoming, and I was even offered a drink, which was a nice touch. The salon itself is very clean and in a convenient location. However, things went downhill from there. The hair color application seemed rushed, and during the wash, I didn’t feel the care and attention I’d expect. To top it off, the stylist left without even checking if I was satisfied with the results. This seems to be consistent with other reviews lately. A blow dry and cut was extra so I only saw the results when I got home after I had paid and tipped. The color at the roots is uneven and doesn’t look much different than what I had come in with. Pretty disappointed, especially considering the price I paid.

I had the worst haircut ever. I showed the hairdresser a picture of the length I wanted and she decided to almost chop it all off. I went in with beautiful long curly hair and I went out looking like I was wearing a bad wig. Not coming back ever again.

After I botched my hair using box dye in a moment of desperation, I was able to get a last minute appointment with Elliott! Susan and Elliot gave me a wonderful consultation and treated my hair with such care when I was feeling not my best. I walked out the door feeling better than ever! Thank you!

I tried several different studios when I moved to Boston and I can confidently say I’m never going anywhere else! Every appointment I’ve had has been completely amazing. The entire staff is incredibly, I felt fully listened to and cared for the entire time. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Skyler did a ravishing haircut, and I am leaving with steller confidence and excitement. This was my first time stepping into HC studio. My first interaction with the hair stylist walked in anxiously but walked out smart and in style. Super happy!

Susan Healy was put on earth to do hair color...she is a genius! I do highlights with some foils. She gets it perfect every time and I have no idea how she does it SO FAST. I get so many compliments on my hair color. The whole experience at the salon is great. Long head massage with your shampoo makes it a true joy. My daughter goes to Valerie and LOVES HER for cuts and color with highlights.

Sweet lady but completely butchered my hair. I came in for a chocolate brown toner on my balayage and came out with purple/red hair. I had to get a color correction and spend more money for her mistake. She did not refund me for it. She also chopped my hair instead of trim because she didn't understand what a curly cut is and that is what I had. I do not recommend going to her.

This is a fabulous salon. They are super welcoming, the place is sparkling clean, and there's none of that stuffy-salon-feeling around. I went there for a few years and saw Lila for my blonde highlights-- she is the best! Loved chatting with her; she always took her time with me and my hair never looked better. I had to stop going when we moved, and I've yet to find a place and stylist that I loved as much as HC Studio!

Wow, HC Studio is so wonderful. I had a consult with Lila and then a cut. She is an artist - a sculptor of hair. My hair needs texturizing and she did an amazing job. The entire staff is lovely. I'm so happy.

I have loved my appointments at HC Studio. I’ve seen Lila for haircuts and grey coverage and she has been outstanding. The front desk staff are eager to answer any questions whether in person or over the phone. I highly recommend this salon.

It’s rare to find a hair stylist who does exactly what you ask for! Lila is incredible at understanding what I want and executing it flawlessly. Her attention to detail and customer service is unmatched! From asking if I’d like to incline my feet during a shampoo to how I’d like my hair blown out, she is so attentive and makes for the best experience. HC Studio has the kindest, friendliest team and the aesthetic in their salon is stunning! I’d recommend Lila and this salon to anyone and everyone.

I feel lucky to have received a Nift for HC Studio, because I finally found my place! I have been getting hair cuts here and there over the past several years, never having found any stylist that I loved. Today I had an appointment with Lindsey and was impressed by her calm, friendly, laid-back demeanor, and she gave me a damn good hair cut, too! The studio as a whole was very welcoming and clean. I throughly enjoyed every part of my experience there and I will definitely be going back and will be recommending them and Lindsey.

I had an appointment scheduled two months earlier. They called me for a money deposit a night before appointment and asked for credentials over the phone. they just told me that your alternative is to stop by and pay us half of your treatment, otherwise, we will cancel it!!!!!. They don't have any online payment and I think the way treated me was so unprofessional to cancel my appointment during a high demanding season. I made call and sent them email but they even ignored my message that I will make the appointment (I've already scheduled). When I stopped by salon, they told me that we gave your time to others and your stylist time is full!!!!!! It was unethical and unprofessional. I was an old customer who got used to come to this Salon every other months. It has been close to me and I felt so comfortable with my hair stylist, Ruthy, who is amazing. But, after they canceled my hair treatment a night before of appointment, in Christmas week. I'm done with this Salon. I just want to let know, about bad customer service.!!!! they are inconsistent in booking and their requirements so please careful if you book for an important event.

I highly recommend HC Studio! Donna has been doing my hair through many styles and stages for the past 14 years. In 2008 she totally supported me in rocking my silver gray hair, after decades of dying it. I get so many compliments on my silver gray hair, from both men and women. The customer service at HC Studio is exceptional, including their protection of everyone during COVID-19. We can look our best and be safe at the same time.
