Bill is a true artist with hair color. Six months later I’m still complimented on the shades. My instructions were reddish-pinkish-I-love-purple-but-don’t-want-all-purple-hair. How he got that perfect, I’m not sure. I’m pretty low-maintenance so Bill always lets me know what will suit my level of willingness to get my hair done. Also, I’ve had my hair permanently straightened so he has to be extra careful with lifting color. So happy with the results every time.

Jack was truly INCREDIBLE! Every time I get my hair done, I always end up too blonde and this is the first time I got 100% what I wanted. Overall...hair doesn't feel damaged, no over-blonding, blends in seamlessly into my roots, got the ashy/mushroom color I wanted

I got my most recent balayage from Ben at Hair Aesthetics. Ben took his time with me for the initial consult (this was not my first balayage but I wanted a specific look) and he was able to execute my vision based on the inspo pics that I provided. He provided suggestions along the way for my hair type and took his time throughout the entire process from start to finish so the experience felt very personal. I've had difficulty finding a stylist that can color Asian hair well (usually the color turns red/copper fairly quickly after) and was impressed that the color held up really well for months after. Overall, the salon is clean and bright. Everyone is professional. I'll be back!

This is my first time having Ben balayage, style and cut my hair and definitely not the last. My hair was so well cared for with his great attention to detail, consistency and precision in creating the balayage for every section, and clear vision for how to style my hair during the cut. It’s rare that I color my hair because it’s thin and prone to frizziness, but Ben maintained the integrity of my hair well. He checked in with me often and I loved every moment he stopped to show me the progress. I love the color, subtle layers, and face framing bangs. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Bill is the best! I am so lucky to have Bill as my hairstylist for over 10 years. He’ve been the best with all his wonderful work. He is professional,dedicated,good listener and attention to details. see what he just done for me. I love it. They use premium products that make my hair look fantastic.

Hair done by Jack! He really took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered the results. I highly recommend him as he is very meticulous, using techniques that are the least damaging to your hair.

I have been going to Jack for years, he always works his magic and make me feel so happy everytime ! I never thought my dream hair was even possible before . It's so rare to find your soul mate stylist, colourist and so glad I found mine ! Highly recommend! Love the new saloon as well so much!! His staff were so kind , I took my puppy with me and they were so welcoming and inclusive , have my puppy tummy rubs and water and on her way out she refuse to leave the saloon because they were that kind! Jay has been my hair stylist for the past years, and I need not to tell more about his exceptional skills in cutting and dying hair, as the result speaks for itself - I have received countless complements on my hair and once a lady took a picture of it so she could do the same style for her wedding. What further sets Jay apart from the others is that he genuinely cares and focuses on my need, takes extra efforts to ensure my satisfaction, without pushing products. Jay is a true artist who makes you feel valued and brings you more joy in life. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic experience at Hair Aesthetics with Ben as my stylist. It was my first time there, and the environment was very welcoming and comfortable. Ben did an amazing job with my balayage, and the entire staff was lovely. I highly recommend this salon for excellent service and a great atmosphere!

My hair has been under Jack’s care for the past few years from coloring, styling, maintenance and getting yearly hair cuts. Jack always gives supportive and honest advice for my hair care routine. Hands down the best salon I’ve been to. Not only is the salon itself clean and pretty, the staff is so kind and accommodating. Ben put more time and consideration into my hair than any other stylist I’ve been to, and I couldn’t be happier with the color and cut I left with. I will be making the trip from Long Island to soho any time I need my hair done from now on :)

Highly recommend Hair Aesthetics and Bill! I’ve been going to Bill for several years now and he always gets my color and cut exactly how I want (I've gone from brunette to blonde and back to brunette). They are super thorough and put a lot of care into their work. Bill always takes the time to listen to what I want, make recommendations, and teach me how to take care of my hair. Overall a really beautiful salon and amazing staff!

I am in love with the way my hair came out. Jack was super attentive and since I had a lot of hair he made sure to give every piece of hair the same attention. Ugh I cannot say this enough but if you come to Jack you will not have orange and brassy hair. It is not possible. I can’t wait to come back for touch ups and toning!

I can’t say enough great things about this salon, especially my stylist Bill. I came to Bill / Hair Aesthetics for a much needed color correction and cut. Bill listened to what I wanted and what was needed for my hair after the previous bleach damage. The salon is warm and friendly. Everyone helps each other and their skills are unmatched to any other salon I’ve been to!

I’m reviewing on my moms account because I can’t seem to access my own account but I want to share that Jacks been my hair stylist since 2020… my parents own a salon so I don’t usually go to anyone else but Jack suggested me to cut my hair into a short bob and I was so scared but go with confidence with Jack, once I went short bobbed I never went back. I’ve been getting more or less the same short bob from him since 2020. I met him via a friend who frequently goes to dye her hair from him so by chance he became my hair stylist and no regrets to that! I get compliments on my bob all the time! Highly recommend Jack from Hair Aesthetics!

Jack and Ben both styled my hair perfectly the way I wanted. It's been the longest time since I had done my hair in a salon and Jack was able to make my hair alive again. They were both super gentle, patient and attentive throughout the whole process, especially when my hair was bleaching. Even before our appointment, Jack would go into details to understand my hair and explain the method he will be using. Not to mention, the salon was clean and had no chemical smell which is a plus! I will definitely be back!

Love this place! Nice atmosphere! It was my 4th appointment with Bill, we usually do blonde balayage but this time we went darker and I looooove it! Bill never disappoints! And I always get some cute photos of my hair transformation ❤️ Looking forward to my next visit 🫶🏻

I found Jack about a year ago for a haircut and a consultation about my damaged hair. I had been going to another salon for a few years and was disappointed that the stylist had been pushing for me to keep dying my hair, ensuring that it wouldn’t further damage it. With my wedding months away, I knew my priority was getting it back to a healthy state and discussing the possibility to tone/change the color if it was healthy enough for that. I was open to going back to a natural hair color since the roots were growing out quite a bit. When I met Jack, he was extremely professional and honest about my hair. He told me that I’d need to go through some rounds of cuts, and I had to wait several months until he would be able to bleach it depending on the state of it. If it wasn’t healthy enough, he’d let me know at that time and we would plan to dye it back to my natural hair color. I really valued his honesty and appreciated that he was putting the health of my hair as the top priority. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of integrity about his work. I came back a few months later after taking all of his advice and my hair was in a much better state. I just saw him recently for another cut/tone two weeks before my wedding, and the result is truly so stunning and natural. I used to dislike touching my hair because it was so damaged, but it’s extremely healthy now and I’m so happy that he was able to revive it for my wedding. I really cannot speak more highly of Jack. He is excellent at his craft and extremely knowledgeable, honest, and meticulous about his work. Highly, highly recommend!!

I've been following Jack (IG @coloringbyjack) across salons for 8 years to get my hair cut by him, so I was excited to see that he started his own place! I appreciate the care and detail he puts into his work, and I always leave happy with my haircut. Hair Aesthetics has a clean, minimal, and warm atmosphere with very comfortable shampoo chairs. I highly recommend it!

I've been going to Jack for many many years, following him whenever he moved salons before he's that good. Always happy with my balayage colors and cuts! I moved to California but still see him whenever I'm back. I trust him and his team fully! He's honest and transparent about pricing and what he can and cannot do so it doesn't damage your hair. I wish I could find someone like him in LA/OC! I'm so happy he has his own place now 😊

I've been going to Kelly since 2021. Another friend who is also a longstanding client of hers referred me to her. She always does an amazing job - she is meticulous, skilled, and also provides helpful suggestion and tips. I always trust Kelly with my color and balayage! I have a lot of thick hair too and she is always patient with it. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants to cut + color and get a beautiful job done with minimal hair damage.

Kelly is the best for cut and color! It took me years of trying out different high end salons before finally finding Kelly. I first met her at another salon and followed her to Hair Aesthetics. My hair always feels and looks 10x better after she’s done with it — so worth it.

They are the best in NYC at balayage and color! I have red undertones but really dislike the copper hue in my hair, and they are able to color it an ashy color that lasts! Highly recommend for ashy tones!
