Overpriced for the building it’s in . And my hair is falling out now since I went there. I don’t know if I’m sensitive to what she put in it. She colored my hair first and then cut it. I asked her to cut it so she won’t have to use so much color and still insisted to cut at the end. I paid 450$ just for cut color and highlights. She highlighted my hair very well.

I came in unsure of what I wanted but I left super satisfied. I absolutely loved the service, my stylist always made sure I was okay and happy with everything. I love my new hair!!! 10/10 definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to this salon for over 7 years…and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Brooke does a great job with my colors and cuts! I actually look forward to coming here and seeing everyone and having time to relax and throw in some jokes and stories. They honestly feel like family ❤️

Went into the salon with bleach blonde hair asking for a cooler toned platinum and left with DARK purple hair. The purple faded to a light brown rose color after multiple washes (two weeks after the appointment) and the toner they used gave me an allergic reaction on my ears. I would not recommend this salon especially if you are a blonde. The picture attached was taken a few hours after I got home from the salon.

Omg got a wolf cut from Laygi two days ago! She's LITERALLY TOO GOOD AT HER JOB! I was so nervous but it looks sooooo amazing! You have to request Laygi you won't be disappointed! The reviews are right she sticks with the photos, always exceeds your expectations & gives you EXACTLY what you wanted! She was so comforting & commutative throughout the whole haircut! I'm so happy the reviews recommended me Laygi! My hair looks & feels so good!

Hair Affair Salon is a very nice experience. I went in on a Saturday and they were busy, but that’s good!! I’m glad that they are busy. The other ladies and I rotated around the room getting all the parts of our hair done. Each lady looking fabulous when we left!

It was my first time visiting and Sarah made me feel very comfortable. She did a wonderful job with my hair—I got exactly what I wanted! She was very fun to chat with and made my experience very positive. I will definitely be coming back! Also! The products they use are amazing. My hair is so soft and shiny, and smells SO GOOD.

Sarah is the best! She really knows what’s she’s doing and is a blast to hang out with while she does your hair. I’m not even living in San Antonio at the moment but will travel here just for Sarah to do my hair cause she’s that good! She really listens and does her best to give you exactly what you want while keeping your hair healthy.

Service has decreased over the years. Had an appointment and left after waiting at thr couch area for 35 minutes. No one said anything to me about a delay, no greeting from my stylist - felt like I wasn't even there outside of checking in. I had to ask what was going on after I saw a woman walk in an hour early for her appointment and they got started on her anyways. I left and will find a new place, which is disappointing because I've been going there for many years, as well as taking my kids there for cuts and color. 😔

For years I have been trying to find a salon that I can continually go to, but never found a hair stylist that does exactly what I want. They always went to short or messed up and gave me some trust issues. Last year, I found Hair Affairs and saw so many good reviews and decided to give them a try. Met Sarah who was the sweetest - and other staff who were so amazing and welcoming. Sarah did an amazing job on my long bob and talked me through the whole process. So my first experience was top notch and I couldn’t wait to come back - Sarah did such a good job that I just had to go back. When I booked my next appt I was told sadly that Sarah was on leave and if it was okay to go with another stylist. I was a little nervous to get someone new but decided to go with it because I love the atmosphere at Hair Affairs. My 2nd experience was with Elisa and I wanted the butterfly cut. ELISA DID SOME MAGIC! She was amazing! I walked in explaining to her how I felt about my hair and she brought it back to life! 🥰 she was so sweet during the whole process. I 100% recommend this salon for anyone who has past traumas with hair salons! These girls really do an amazing job!

9/30/22- had same hair cut again after so long time . Met Brooks. Lovely work ! I had a long hair for donation and I needed a new new look with my new short hair.I decided based on reviews online to go and try Hair Affairs. I am so happy my decision was right . All the staff and my stylist Brooke did a great job . They made me comfortable ,asked me for anything I needed . explained me the process and pricing before hand . Pricing for normal hair cut starts form 45$ ..but trust me it's really worth. They shampoo conditioner cut and style .. The staff is professional and they don't disappoint you.Overall I recommend this place .

Everyone in this salon was as friendly as they could be felt very comfortable I highly recommend them to anyone out there looking for somewhere special…Sarah really impressed me her communication skills between her and her clients is the best asset a hairstylist can have which makes delivering terrific hairstyles, id been looking for a hairstylist for long time I could trust, I will see Sarah again very satisfied ! First time here. Wanted a simple haircut. I showed the stylist many pictures of the hair cut I wanted. But when she was blow drying it I looked like someone from the eighties!😖She gave me an old fashioned cut! I told her I didn’t like it so she brought her boss who was giving the stylist lessons on how to cut my hair to get me the style I wanted. End result: they ended up cutting too much hair. I told them I had this cut 20 years ago. I was so angry 😠 even though they tried to fix the cut I ended up with a cut far from what I wanted. I hate it😡they charged me $65.00 to look ridiculous! Every one was very nice but they failed me. They didn’t listen!! They don’t pay attention. I kept showing them the pix and telling them it’s not supposed to be this short!! I Don’t appreciate that they assigned me someone who does not know How to cut hair!!!!!!!!!!! Then to make things worse I was like a Guinea pig.

I did my haircut with Kisha and she did a beautiful job! I did my hairstyle with the stylist the week after. I was a becoming a bridesmaid and I have to say that I was pretty nervous with my hair but they both did a wonderful job and exactly what I had requested! I highly recommend hair affairs! Also , costumer service is amazing! Everyone super nice and cooperative! I give a goldstar instead of a 5!

I’m super happy with my haircut. This was my first time in the Salon. Valerie did an awesome job. After a week also hair holds the same shape 🤣 . Satisfied with the overall service and would always recommend Valerie for haircut.

This was my second time using this salon. First time = fabulous. Second time = disaster. Seeing that this was my second time using the salon (and I forgot who cut my hair last time) I had them give me the first spot available rather than requesting the stylist who did an outstanding job last time. Today I went in for a 1/4in-1/2in trim. Having fine and brittle hair, I asked for an all-around straight cut. I told my stylist that I did not want layers or texturing. When the stylist was cutting my hair she did not ask where I parted my hair, opting to cut a middle part. Then, at one point in the appointment the stylist walked in front of my and brushed the hair on my crown forwards (like a comb over) and made a big cut on my hair. Seeing that I had asked for less than 1/2 inch off I was SUPRISED to see how long of a chunk of hair this was. As someone who wears glasses, I had to wait until my stylist left the chair to go assist someone at the desk to put my glasses on to see where the chunk came from. Now, I recognize that all people have some form of breakage. I usually have a 1 inch section hair on the right side of my face that tends to be around 1/2 inch shorter and scraggly as I get in deeper need of a haircut. When I put my glasses on I noticed that this chunk is now around 2-3 inches shorter than the rest of my hair, now grazing my jaw instead of grazing my collarbone. When the stylist came back I asked her to blend the section in with the rest of my hair because I did not ask for my hair to be cut that short. Instead of admitting that something had occurred (the chunk of hair is literally in my lap, still wet) she blamed it on breakage and said my hair had been like this prior to the hair cut. Once again, I admit I had breakage. But not THIS bad of breakage (see pictures to see what my hair looked like after the appointment). The rest of the appointment was awkward and tense as she kept pointing out the small amounts of breakage around the crown of my head (largely from pony-tails). I had come in for a simple hair cut. The fact that this stylist messed it up is beyond me. All in all, I’m giving this place a 3 and would most likely suggest it to other people. It’s a good, clean salon. I think I just got a bad luck-of-the-draw with my stylist today.

Went to this salon after years of disappointing stylists who just didn’t care about what they did got to tell everyone that Kisha and her group at this Heubner location did an absolutely perfect cut and color treatment. My Husband said he has never seen me looking so good and could not stop complimenting me. Shelley Z from Schertx. 5 star place.

I’ve been looking for a hair stylist here in town for awhile. Finally googled, yelped, and landed on going into Hair Affairs. I was able to get on the schedule quickly and then God gifted me with Sarah! She was extremely sweet, personable, and was great at communicating everything. She was running a little bit behind after a day of back-to-back appointments, but was very sweet in letting me know when I came in and made sure I was okay with it. I honestly appreciated that she didn’t rush through her previous appointment because it shows she would extend the same courtesy to me if needed. When she cut my hair she was efficient and answered all of my questions…she obviously knows what she’s doing and she’s great at it! Will definitely be coming back to this salon and to Sarah!
