I recently got a haircut at Hair Arca, and I couldn’t be more satisfied! The shop’s atmosphere made me feel like I was back in Korea — clean, detailed, and so relaxing overall. It’s one of the most comfortable environments I’ve experienced in a salon. The service was absolutely top-notch. Honestly, this was the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life! I specifically booked Caleb after seeing their name mentioned in Google reviews, and wow, Caleb’s expertise really stood out. From the equipment to the skills, everything felt incredibly professional — possibly the best I’ve experienced in the U.S. The other staff members were also very friendly and professional. Even if I can’t book with Caleb next time due to scheduling, I’d feel confident trying out services with other stylists. I also got to try their new scalp massager during the hair wash, and it was such a satisfying and unique experience — something I think is pretty rare to find in the U.S.! This time, I only got a haircut, but with this level of service, I’m already thinking of growing my hair out and trying a perm in the future. As long as I stay in LA, I think I’ll become a regular customer at Hair Arca.

Not recommended for keratin straightener...... I paid $450 to Straight my hair. For 4 to 6 months as he said!!!!! after 3 weeks, My hair Got curly again like before !!!

Edit to add the most recent time I came to the salon, Chelsea gave me a scalp and hair treatments. She was great and explaining what each of the steps do and was so kind. She gave a wonderful head massage as part of the treatment that definitely helped with some of my knots. Would recommend seeing her the next time you go! Love coming to Hair Arca! Jacob does a fantastic job with anything you need- haircuts, balayage, etc. Their products are top quality and they put a lot of care into the service. Highly recommend!

Gave a good review because they give you a $5 discount for doing so, but honestly; this was the most mid haircut i’ve ever gotten. Sold me a leave-in product that made my hair frizzier than ever, and left me with unblended, choppy layers after I asked them to help me achieve a sleeker cut. Tried to rush through, trying to rush through and I asked him to go back in TWICE before I was satisfied. Granted, I was 10 minutes late, but maybe I wouldn’t have been if the front desk had been able to give ample parking directions (I could not understand her at all. She said she’d been there less than a week, so I’m not sure if she knew how to properly direct me.) Salon 147 in Pasadena is where the real experts are at, this place is overrated.

HairARCA gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had! Caleb not only made my hair look fab, but he somehow managed to salvage my hair from a truly miserable haircut I had received the week prior. I was truly amazed at how he got it to look so good from the state I was coming from. Also, all of the stylists were so friendly!

I booked this salon after reading all the great reviews of Caleb and I am soo glad that I did. My haircut exceeded expectations and was better than the picture ! Check in was so quick and then I was escorted back by chase who did an excellent wash and scalp massage. Then I was seated and Caleb did his magic and styled afterwards. The best haircut I’ve had and I will be coming back the next time I’m in town. Would recommend !

I had such a great haircut from Hair Arca! Caleb was my stylist and he did such an amazing job! Usually I don't like my hair right away, but I walked away feeling so great about the cut. The vibe of the salon is also great. They give you a very relaxing wash and steam before the hair cut. I will definitely be coming back!

This is my go to salon for a men’s cut in K-town, I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 2 years! I get my hair cut by Caleb, and I enjoy the entire experience start to finish. Caleb is very understanding of your hair preferences, and if youre not sure what kind of style you want, they provide an iPad with many different styles to select from. He also cuts hair very efficiently and quick without compromising quality. My favorite part is when they wash, shampoo, and massage your scalp before and after the cut, it feels sooo good. They also have a scent diffuser and I really like the scent of the shampoo they use (which they also sell at the salon)! I live close enough to walk here, but if you don’t, they also have a parking lot with $1 validated parking, which is a huge plus especially in Ktown!

Amazing service from the moment I walked in! I showed up with quite a few bags and was happy to know they had a wall of lockers where I could keep my personal items. Chanwoo greeted me and led me to have my hair washed. He said my scalp was a little dry and so he proceeded to give me a complimentary scalp treatment. What followed I can only describe as a spiritual experience of aromas and a heavenly scalp massage by Chanwoo. I wasn’t completely sure what hair style I wanted and was pleasantly surprised they had a look book of hairstyles to share with me for some inspo. Caleb was my hair stylist, he is creative director of the studio, and he is a master sculptor of hair. I am completely blown away by my haircut! His attention to detail is unparalleled. I look forward to my next cut at Hair Arca.

Got a build perm by Caleb. Gave me consulting based on my hair and past history with having had magic straight. Came out with very natural looking perm. Looking forward to seeing how it lasts. Will be back! Assistant was very nice ad well

I found out about Hair Arca through a friend’s recommendation that I try a build perm because of my thin, flat hair. I was hesitant about getting a perm, but that hesitation was very much unnecessary. 우리딸이 결혼을 앞두고 머리 염색을 하러 이곳에 갔는데 생각했던것보다 컬러가너무 어둡게 나왔다 전화상담후 다시 해준다고해서 갔더니 원장이라는 남자가 염색비용을 다시 내라고 했다 그것도 처음에 320불에 했는데 다시 하는거라고 400불을 내라고 했다 너무 기분이 상해 그렇게는 못한다하고 그곳을 나왔다고 한다 결혼을 3일 앞두고 한참 행복해야 하는데 몹시  마음도 상하고 머리도 마음에 안들어 정말이지  마음 같아서는 피해보상 이라도 요구하고 싶다 디자이너라는 사람이 프로의식은 없고 돈만 벌려고 손님을 호구로 생각하는 이곳에 다시는 가서는 안될거 같다

After many tries with other hair salons, I’ve decided to come to Arca and get my hair done by Caleb. He was super attentive. Listened to exactly what I wanted. I got a c curl perm, root perm, layered cut, 모류교정 and treatment. He listened to all my requests and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Loved the staff’s service as well. Will be back again.

Got their hair and scalp treatment, went it with mid expectations and it was amazing. Fully cleaned out the sebum from my scalp, massaged it well, and really made my hair a lot softer and got rid of any clogged pores up there. First time I've gotten a treatment like this, and it was super worth it. I'll be back for more kinds of services like this in the future for sure
