This was my first time using Melissa because I just moved to the Frederick area. I was nervous about starting with someone new because I love the stylist I have had for the last 20 years. I showed Melissa a picture of what my hair looks like normally so she could try to get as close to it. Unfortunately one day with my new color I realized it is not as blonde as the picture I showed her. After contacting Melissa to schedule another appt to achieve the right color, she responded that she did what we discussed and I would have to pay her $50 an hour to get my hair to the color I originally showed her in a picture. It's too bad she isn't more concerned about the end result. I don't know if I should have to pay at least $100 more to achieve the proper color. If I did I would have to spend $300 or more. I am very disappointed and don't know what to do.

Melissa has been cutting my hair and my daughter hair for few years and wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone but her. She is great with haircuts as well as coloring, and styling our hair in a way that best suits us. I constantly get compliments on my haircut. She is friendly and helpful and not to mention the most professional hair dresser I have ever met. Highly recommend her. Thanks!!

Melissa is amazing!!! My mom and I have been getting my hair cut by Melissa for over 5 years. She is the only one I trust with my hair. We have very thick hair and she is great at cutting and styling it with the texturizing shears- leaving it more lightweight without compromising on volume and style. Melissa is very comfortable working with a lot of different hair textures and styles. Her new studio is really nice- very clean and following strict COVID protocols. You can park behind the building and the studio area is to the right. She has her own isolated room where she accepts one client at a time. Everyone wears masks and maintains 6+ feet of social distancing. There are clean restrooms and hand sanitizer everywhere. She sanitizes her studio between appointments. You can also purchase some products from her studio (she will recommend what is best for your hair type). Her services are very affordable considering the high quality. She is also one of the kindest people I have met. If you’re looking for a stylist, I would 100% recommend her!
