Grace and her team are truly fantastic. It doesn't matter what you're there for because the staff has both the knowledge and the skills to deliver results you'll be thrilled with. For my most recent visit, I did a full color transformation and I could not be happier with the result. Hair Base will always be my recommendation for those looking for an exceptional styling.

I’ve been going to Hairbase and Robin for over 30 years. I have always been very pleased with her stylist skills and her ability to work with my thick hair and all its cowlicks! She and everyone at the salon are very welcoming, treat you like family and are passionate about what they do. They all like to develop their skills and learn new techniques and learn about products so you know they are experts in their field.

I had my second hair appointment with Zena today. She does an amazing job with color! While I was there I also had facial waxing. She is the absolute best with threading and waxing. I have lived in Roger’s Park for 22 years and wish I found this place years ago! I found my home for hair and waxing! They also do mani and pedi! The owner also gives a special touch- so welcoming! Like family 😊

Booked a leg and arm wax with Zeena and a haircut with Kimberly. Both were amazing! Zeena was so gentle and very detailed. It really was the least painful and most efficient wax I have ever had. Kimberly was made sure I knew exactly what my hair would look like at the end of my appointment and was very thorough. Both ladies were kind and friendly! The services are done well and are reasonably priced. I'm definitely coming back!

During COVID my long time stylist, moved to a different career. I tried all kinds of other salons and finally tried Hair Base, and I was done looking. Everyone is so kind. I had my hair done by 3 different stylists there and tend to sit withTeresa now. I trust her so much I just sit in her chair and say "do whatever you want" I am never disappointed.

I loved going to this salon! Erika was amazing! She was very nice. She explained all the things she was gonna do and she made sure I liked the length before she cut any further. My hair feels so nice and clean. I'm definitely coming back here next time I need a cut.

As a new customer, I walked in hoping to get a nice cut. I was looking for a new hairdresser/salon. What I got was the warmest welcome, an extensive consultation with hairdresser Robin, and exactly what I wanted. We added on some services, and I knew I had found my new salon and hairdresser. Everyone in the shop made an effort to say hello to me. I felt like I had always been coming here. Zena helped me with some other services, she is awesome. Kind, truly caring, expertise, welcoming. This is what you will find at Hair Base. I give it 10 stars if I could.

Everyone at hair base is nice and friendly. They make sure to do their job as thoroughly as possible, and they catch things that others might miss. During my waxing, they made sure that not one hair was out of place, and that the hairs that were were facing the right direction.

First time visiting. Made a same day appointment with Zeena who was fantastic. I showed her a pic of what I wanted, she made suggestions and explained what she was doing as she was cutting my hair. Offered other treatments but wasn’t pushy about it. She was very pleasant and I loved the final result.
