I came here for about a year, and then started going somewhere else not realizing THERE IS NO PLACE like Hair Boss! I have worn extensions for over 5 years, nonstop, due to bouts of alopecia and thinning hair. I have tried EVERYTHING and I have paid … you don’t want to know! I came back to Hair Boss and couldn’t believe I ever left! But you dont realize how good you have it until you enter the wild world of everywhere else. Just to give you an example of some of my experiences: once I got charged $100 to remove tape ins (took 15 minutes and no did not include a wash or blow dry!) Once had braided/tied hair removed only to discover they were cutting my hair in the process. I loved the way those extensions looked but they destroyed my hair! Once spent 7 hours and $400 (+ cost of hair) in a chair putting in 150 g! It came undone the next day! Spent another 7 hours in the chair to fix it only to remove them the next day because of the pain. 14 hours and $1,000 DOWN THE DRAIN! Oh my bf was mad! 🤫🤣 I’ve had good extensions done at other places but I either always needed new hair or the cost became absolutely prohibitive. For girls like me who don’t have hair without extensions, it’s rough to find a great salon that you can actually afford. So when I say ‘Hair Boss is the best’ I am talking from experience! The hair they purchase is always wonderful - they match color and texture well. The Skinny Weft method is fantastic. I love that they have a four-week maintenance that’s affordable (~$100) and takes about 30-minutes, and it keeps your weft(s) in tip top shape. One of my biggest struggles is after 4-weeks, I started being able to see the k-tips, or the tapes, or I would feel the wefts; and other places I went would charge hundreds to have them completely removed and put back in. Like $300-$500+ every 6 weeks and those last two weeks were a STRUGGLE. Here, I show up once a month, they tighten them, and I’m out in 30 minutes. I know coming to the salon every month for maintenance can seem like a lot - but extensions aren’t for the low maintenance girls (although this method IS the lowest maintenance and least damaging for my hair I’ve used.) I love that you can wear them for 6 months before needing to reinstall, that the hair is good for a year, and that booking is super easy. Pricing is upfront and transparent. 😯 The Davines products are also heavenly. I’ve had both Cherish and Lena as hairstylists; they’re both skilled, funny, beautiful, and I trust them 100% with my hair. I believe you can bring your own hair, but, honestly, their hair is even more affordable than when I’ve purchased it myself. It definitely is NOT drain hair! I probably could retire early on what I’ve spent on extensions, but feeling your best is PRICELESS.

Hair Boss is the best! Lena really worked with me to determine the best placement of my weft, worked quickly without rushing, and was super informative about how to maintain and manage my extensions so they last a long time and don't damage my natural hair. Hair Boss also sells products from the Davine line that are natural and work really well to protect hair. I'm obsessed with the Oi Oil, which makes my hair so soft and shiny. I did the BYOB weft installation package, since I already have extensions that are in great shape. But when it's time to replace them, I'm excited to use Hair Boss's wefts and to have Lena color match them for me (my previous extensions have all had to be died to match my tone). Move Ups and Reinstallations: My other stylists have all required me to do a move up after 5 weeks, and then a reinstall 5 weeks after that. For one, I hated that 5th week when my weft felt too grown out. And for two, that meant paying a lot of money every 10 weeks to get the weft reinstalled. But with Lena's Skinny Weft Method, I can keep the wefts in place for 6 months and I just need to get a move up every 4 weeks! This saves me time and money (move ups are only 15 minutes) in the long run. Amazing! And hello, the price?! I've had to drive as far as Calabasas to get the kind of pricing Lena offers. Some salons in the WeHo area are crazy expensive and don't give you the option to bring your own wefts. Lena's prices are beyond reasonable. Especially for the quality you're getting! I'm stoked to have found Hair Boss.

I’ve been going to Hair Boss for my extensions and color for over a year now. Before I discovered Hair Boss, I used to wear clip in extensions and they were pulling my hair out. Choosing skinny weft sew in extensions have completely changed my confidence and there’s no going back!

I got my extensions about 6 months ago and I LOVE them. The maintenance is super easy, the process is streamlined, and I get complimented on my "perfect hair" all the time. Everybody who works there is super sweet. Lena did my first install and she was so helpful in picking out hair and meticulous in matching it to my own. Highly recommend.

My haircut from Adam was delightful. My hair is fine and never takes very long to cut, I really love that they charge by the amount on time. Adam gave me good tricks to make my hair look thicker. It was the best haircut I have gotten since I moved over here. I will be back for sure.

Gaby is incredible. Let me tell you!! I had her put hair extensions in my hair last February 2022 and I loved them so much I can back in February 2023 ALL the way from NC! She is amazing at picking out the colors to match your hair and blending them all so it looks natural. If you didn’t know I had short hair to begin with you’d never know! Go see Gaby! I have been seeing Lena at hair boss for a few years now and am in love with my hair extensions. She matched my hair color perfectly, they look so natural and she was able to keep my hair healthy in the process! I always get compliments on my hair and I Can’t recommend the salon enough! I was referred to Hair Boss through a friend and she spoke so highly of Cherish. I immediately called the salon and booked an appointment as I was having a difficult time finding an extension specialist who could color match. Lena called me back and we spoke about what I was looking to achieve and told me to come in for a consultation. This is the best salon in LA! Not only is every hair stylist so lovely and sweet, but extremely talented! They really take the time needed to assess your hair needs and also give you great options in your price range. For extensions, they are the absolute best and I’m loving my new hair! It is painless and looks completely natural. This is 100% worth it, I’m not letting anyone else outside this salon touch my hair and I would refer anyone to go to them!

Consistent Amazing Service! I've been coming here since they opened and have had a wild range of hair styles and they've tamed them all. Listened to what I had in mind, gave solid suggestions and helped me get the right stuff for my hair. Then as I changed styles, I was able to learn more along the way. I got extensions for my wedding about 10 months ago and I think I am going to keep them forever because I love them so much. The skinny weft extensions don’t damage your hair and the stylists at Hair boss do an amazing job at the tune ups to keep them looking beautiful. I have seen almost everyone there for tune ups and everyone is very nice. Sondra is Fabulous with color! Analisa is wonderful at styling and makeup!

Just got my weft/ hair re-installed with Adam at Hair Boss in Hollywood, I am beyond grateful for him. He was amazing. Not only did he remove the weft with extra handle and care, he made sure my new installment was done properly, tangle free and correct placement so it won't bother me as the previous installment that was done with someone else. I'm so glad I found this place. It is definitely a drive for me, but so worth it!!!! Thanks again Adam. I definitely recommend this place. My OCD is off the charts and Hair Boss was able to fulfill my needs.
