Always such a great experience going here. My hair always turns out with no issues. Alexis is great at explaining options and helping to understand what the outcome could be or the steps needed to take. Very personable throughout the whole appointment!

Honestly, not sure what the reviews down below are talking about. I give this salon and owner Alexis Nicole a 5 plus star review for being the BEST stylist in the Kalamazoo area. I came from Vegas and used the best sylist out there. I called in advance and double-checked the pricing. What she charged me was actually a bit less than I was quoted, so of course, that was cool. I think if you're used to having your friends dye your hair or used to doing it yourself, than you may think it costs a lot. But if you know and understand what it takes and costs for this woman to do her craft, than it's well worth it, imho. 👌 You aren't getting a great haircut and color for $100 anymore, that's 20 years old pricing. I made sure to book another appointment as her schedule fills up fast. If you're looking for a well established stylist that will make you feel amazing and not rush you through the process, than look no further. She also is very honest about what she can and shouldn't do. But again, not everyone wants to hear that. It may take me a few sessions to get to the level of blonde I want, but thats ok, she is a professional.

Interesting she’s unprofessional enough to think she would know if I was a client or not. I choose the name John Doe for a reason. She’s terrible and begs her clients for reviews after she butchers your hair. She knows what client came once and was done and I’m one of them. Don’t waste your money with this talentless pos.

Beware when booking an appointment with Alexis. She will make you put a deposit down for a chemical treatment appointment. Pay very close attention to your invoice. If you scroll to the bottom, it will say that all appointments must be canceled within 48 hours. I cancelled my appointment 24 hours before because I began developing COVID 19 symptons and was told by my doctor and the health department to quarantine . Test results came back positive the day of my appointment. Alexis would not bend the rules of her policy and allow me to use the $90 deposit on a future appointment even though I contacted her to reschdule right after I could come out of quarantine. I had no choice but to cancel or I would have put Alexis and her other clients at risk of getting COVID. Alexis's response to me was that she has bills to pay. She lacks empathy for unique situations.

It's hard finding someone who listens to you and does an excellent job. This is the place to go. Hair cuts are great, but she shines extra in hair coloring. Does an amazing job! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Alexis has dome my hair twice and I loved it both times. She makes the appointment fun and we were constantly laughing. I walked in not really knowing what I wanted, just knew I wanted it darker with purple and it turned put amazing. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new hair do.

Alexis is amazing at what she does! She is gentle, her scalp massages while shampooing are to die for, and she is always kind and generous while doing hair! She is creative and always knows what will work and look best for her customers! Go see her next time you need your hair done!! You won’t regret it!!

Alexis was absolutely amazing! She added volume to my incredibly thin hair, and she bleached my hair and did a color treatment, then recommended a shampoo to keep my hair healthy which I loved! Alexis was very precise and meticulous about cutting and dying my hair and I love it!!! I would 100% recommended her!
