Loved my experience with Catherine. It was my first time trying a keratin treatment on my curls and we did the Cezanne. I am obsessed with my results! Catherine is truly talented, well priced, experienced and a gem in Williamsburg. Only coming to her from now on!

A few weeks post-Cezanne keratin treatment and just, wow…I can definitely say that seeing Catherine for this treatment was the best hair decision I’ve ever made! I wanted to preserve my hair’s natural wave and volume but eliminate the frizz, and this is precisely what Catherine achieved with this treatment. I’m still somewhat in awe of my hair!! The procedure itself was a very relaxing experience—Catherine is so warm and welcoming, and her salon is a lovely oasis of calm. She truly wanted to understand what I wanted, and she patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. Catherine is exceptional at what she does, I really can’t recommend her highly enough. I will definitely be returning!

I have been to several top Salon in Williamsburg and Hair by Catherine is hands down the best!! My hair was transformed. I had previous over processed ends and needed some TLC and I absolutely love my hair now. Go here now.

I found Catherine while looking for a keratin treatment in Williamsburg. This was my first time getting a keratin treatment and she was super helpful answering all my questions about the cezanne treatment via email before the appointment to make sure the treatment was what I was looking for. The service itself was great and removed a lot of the frizz from my hair leaving most of the curl. Catherine was so kind and welcoming. 10/10 customer service. I’d definitely trust her to cut or color my hair in the future. Thank you Catherine!

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about Catherine! I went to her after I had a hair mishap and instead of getting a semi permanent gloss a new hair stylist convinced me to do a permanent dye job. Unfortunately I walked out looking like a cartoon character with ink blot level dark black hair. I researched color correction and found quotes for many hundreds of dollars, which seemed really expensive. Finally I asked my friends in the neighborhood where to go and multiple people recommended Catherine. I went and she handled my hair disaster quickly and easily! She stripped it gently of its dyed color in one process and told me she wouldn’t dye it until my regular hair color grew in a bit and she could see what she was working with. I couldn’t believe how easily and affordably she handled the mess I walked in with. I left feeling like myself again. I returned after a couple of months and she did the semi permanent gloss that I had originally wanted from the other hairdresser. Now my hair looks like my natural color but shinier and healthier. All at a super affordable price, especially for Williamsburg. I am never going to anyone else. Thank you Catherine!

I had my first appointment with Catherine about a month ago and got the Cezanne Keratin Treatment. This is the best keratin treatment I’ve ever had, she was very meticulous throughout the process and I am in love with my hair and how easy it is to style it now. The space is also very intimate and comfortable, we had a nice chat and the 2 hours of the treatment flew by. I will be going back soon for a haircut!

Catherine is AMAZING!!!! Visited her for the first time to fix and refresh my color. After a quick consult, it's like she instantly got me. She understood my hair goals so well and knew exactly what to do. More than past stylists who I had seen for years even. You literally can just sit back, relax and she will do an amazing job. She considers every detail, from her product selection, color and ton. I have never felt this comfortable and trusting in a stylist and that says a ton! Super cute and clean salon as well with amazing hospitality- with snacks and all!

Safe to say I won't be going to another salon for as long as I'm in Brooklyn. I found Hair by Catherine through some of the top rated reviews on google and decided to give her a try and I'm so glad I did! I went in for a Keratin treatment and Catherine was so thorough in understanding the current state of my hair, what I want for it, etc. On top of her giving my hair the care it needed (turned out AMAZING) she was also a joy to be around. Catherine is amazing!! She’s super gentle with my thin hair. The color match between my real hair and my extensions is amazing she really did a great job! Anytime I had to get them pushed up I never feel like the hair getting ripped out of my head. I would recommend anyone looking to get some extra length or any of her services in general to book your appointment now! You won’t regret it.

Because it was my first Keratin treatment, she took the time to walk me through the process and make sure that I felt comfortable and informed. I started seeing Catherine at the start of this year- I wanted to have a safe salon experience given COVID and I knew she had her own salon and followed mask protocols. On top of providing a safe experience, she uses all natural / products that are good for you and has helped me immensely on my hair journey. I went to Catherine for the first time during the dead heat of summer looking for an express Brazilian blowout. Catherine made me feel immediately welcome in her salon -- I was a new friend not just a customer. The treatment that Catherine applied not only transformed my hair, it changed my life. This is not hyperbole for a girl with frizzy, thick hair that takes 8+ hours to dry. I now have joined the millions of women who get to air dry their hair and look salon-polished. Instead of spending hours flat ironing (and ruining) my hair, I get to spend more time out in the world, doing the things I love (which does not include burning my fingers on 450 degree plates). Thank you, Catherine, for a wonderful experience both in and out of the salon. I'll be back for the full treatment soon!

Simply put, Catherine is the best hair professional I've encountered in 20 years of living in NYC! I have super curly/frizzy hair and randomly found her via a search for non-toxic keratin treatments. I scheduled a free consultation and she was so generous with her time, down-to-earth, and really listened to my concerns and preferences. The actual keratin-cut-style appointment lasted several hours -- which normally I would hate as I don't really enjoy salons -- but she made it so easy, with a relaxing and pleasant environment, fun music and thoughtful conversation. Most importantly, my hair turned out just as I wanted and I'm still happy with it a month later! Thank you, Catherine -- so glad to have finally found "my" stylist in Brooklyn!

Catherine is a true professional. She will really listen to your concerns and what you want before she does anything to your hair. She focuses all her energy on you when you are in your chair and she always does a fantastic job. I have never been disappointed by her and trust her with my hair 100%! So happy that I found Catherine. New to the area and wanted a hair stylist that I could rely on. Can't recommend enough. She did a great job listening to what I want and helping me achieve that by paying close attention to the texture of my hair and giving me a cut accordingly. I wanted to buy some products but told her that I was trying not to buy single use plastics and she accommodated me by giving me a glass bottle and offering to refill the bottle next time instead of giving me a new one. I thought that was super cool. Her shop is really clean and cozy too! This girl knows her stuff so I'll be back for color soon! Thanks again, Catherine!
