the appointment was booked with a girl that the front desk simply said I think you'll like her.... Did you ask what I was looking for NO! I get there and she looked miserable the entire haircut. I asked for a pixie cut she said no I won't do that because I don't know you..... than why am I in your chair? Ask me questions, have me show you a picture? Nope nothing happening that way! She cuts it and it looked like a mushroom! I asked again for the pixie because I had no choice the haircut was awful. The pixie ie equally as awful. It was never told how much the cut was and 75.00 for a garbage haircut isn't worth it! They seem to do nothing but bleach hair in that salon or they woman are in their 70's still getting bleach! :-/ She is the first chair on the left, don't know her name, don't want to know her name! Luckily I have a wig to wear! Poor ability and unskilled!

I highly recommend Hair by Damian. I have been Nichole's customer for almost 3 years now and she has always ensured that I was satisfied with my various hair style attempts. She also provides a charismatic atmosphere that elevates hair cut anxiety. Her new assistant, Jolene, is fabulous and ensures that all hair care needs are met.

Came in for a hair cut! Got dead ends off and some layers! Nicole is really friendly and personable. Felt very relaxed when we talked. The vibe is very laid back and you leave feeling beautiful.

The entire staff is very friendly. I’ve had haircuts from two different stylists there and they were both great: attentive, caring, fun to chat with. I’m a man with thick curly hair, and I’m picky about how I like my hair cut — they both listened closely to what I asked for and delivered!

Really nice boutique. Will be back. Luckily was able to do a walk in. Will schedule an appointment next time. Lisa did a great job with my hair. Took at least 5-7 inches off and blended everything very well. My partner and coworkers all noticed the change and asked where I had it done. Very happy with how it looks and feels. Thank you!!!

I got my haircut from Nicole! She did absolutely amazing job.The blow dry she did was fabulous! She was so considerate and made me so comfortable too! Definitely I am coming back to her again!

Nichole is the BEST. I randomly lucked into meeting her a few years ago when a nearby salon confirmed an appointment with me but was locked and empty upon my arrival. I called around desperately needing someone to do my hair on my only day off and Nichole and Hair by Damien took me in with open arms at the last minute. I’m so happy to be back with Nichole for hair extensions on my very short hair after some chemo pills and a ton of Covid-taking-away-our-jobs-stress changed its texture and growth rate. I cannot begin to explain how Nichole’s artistry and talent has bettered my confidence. I also love coming to the salon because the entire staff is warm and kind and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. I appreciate them!

If you are looking for the best salon in Pittsburgh, look no further! Brianna and Nichole will have your hair looking totally gorgeous in a cleanly, professional environment. I wish I could have Brianna give me a blowout every day! While you're there, see Melanie for all of your lash needs. My lash lift and tint was so great, I couldn't believe they were my real lashes.

I accompanied someone while they were getting their hair done. It's uppity and some staff and customers gave me the feeling like I wasn't supposed to be there. One customer whispered to the stylist, "who is she waiting for" and the stylist laughed? I don't waste energy on stuff like that, so it didn't bother me. I'm not sure how good they are at hair but the environment was uncomfortable, if you know what I mean.

The salon is beautiful and the staff is always professional. I see Nichole, she is always amazing at consulting me on what the next steps are for my hair. If your looking for extensions she your woman. She has so much knowledge and experience doing extensions. I always leave there feeling beautiful and sexy!
