After about a year I found myself having to edit my previous review for Daniel. My mother, aunt, cousin and myself would always book with him because of the quality of his work. The man without a doubt knows what he is doing. My daughter is mixed with African American and he perfectly got the blonde strips without any damage to her hair. However, we were forced to find a different stylist because he definitely schedules based on favoritism or his need to get money that week. He has no worries or consideration for his clients when canceling appointments left and right after confirming them via text or WORSE simply doesn’t show up at all BUT he will text you “oh I haven’t heard from you in awhile”. He treats his assistants very poorly and rude. On one of my visits there, his assistant received a call from her daughter at school and he very disrespectfully demanded her to get off. The assistant got so red and embarrassed and honestly it made me feel so uncomfortable!! There’s so many scenarios that I witness where he can come off as arrogant and disrespectful.

Daniel is absolutely amazing!! I had gotten some color done towards the end of last year and although it was beautiful the color was a little too blonde for my skin tone so I asked Daniel if he could still do highlights but with more brown to better suit me and he said he would make them bright not blonde and well-blended. I didn't know what he meant until I saw the final product!! He uses treatment throughout to keep the hair nice and taken care of and he doesn't use heat to keep it healthy! I have never loved my hair more, he did exactly what I wanted and even better than what I had imagined. Not only does he do a great job on cuts and color but he also cares about the health of your hair and I'm someone who needs a little guidance on hair care sometimes. I highly recommend.

Really upsetting that I will no longer be coming back to this salon as the quality of work is great. I travel a lot for work, often out of state and have very limited time to get my hair done and sometimes even fly back to North Carolina ONLY to get my hair done with Daniel. In the last few years that I have been coming, he has never once been on time and I often message him multiple times to confirm the appointment as I don’t want to waste time and money coming here if he’s not going to show up. I continued to come simply because he does hair well but this past weekend, I took off work and flew from another state to see Daniel and he never showed up. No cancellation and no reply to any messages for hours. When he did answer he stated he stayed late at the salon the night before and that was why he could not come in. I find this extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of peoples time and money. Book an appointment here if you want quality work with the high risk of not even getting it done.

Daniel blew my expectations out of the water!!! I’m so very grateful. I went to Daniel after searching google for several hours. I was not disappointed. I explained to him I wanted skunk highlights. He made it a comfortable experience from the start. He paid attention to my wants and needs. He not only showed passion about my hair but he was very knowledgeable. After such a great experience I left feeling refreshed and beautiful; while carrying a handful of exciting new products. Would highly recommend him to anybody. Thank you Daniel!!

Daniel was above and beyond all my expectations, truely unbelievable! He is very nice, kind and professional. I enjoyed my appointment with him. I would like to share the good the bad and the ugly about Daniel. I wanted to share my experience in the hopes of providing awareness for new people seeking an overall great experience, what I mean by this is professional service. I have been driving over an hour to see Daniel for the last 4 years because the quality of the work was more than satisfactory, I encountered significant challenges with reliability and communication. Unfortunately today was the last time. I booked this appointment over two weeks ago and because I know he is unreliable I called and texted him yesterday and early this morning, giving him the opportunity to make an excuse, as usual. If it’s not he is sick or his eyes had issues or he had an emergency at his salon, the excuses are never ending. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and he failed. He never showed up. Daniel is like a bright student that has everything going for him and decides to make bad choices. I hope this review sets expectations when booking an appointment as to what you will get. Sad but true.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows what a horrible business owner Daniel is. He made my wife drive from an hour away and never showed up. This is not the first time but it will be the last since you’re fired. FYI he charges clients if they don’t show up or show up late so how about we start charging you. I booked an appointment with Daniel a few years ago due to the good reviews I read about him. I did not have the same experience as most of the reviews I read. I came in wanting to go full blonde. My current hair situation was brown with blonde highlights, and he told me he could not work with my hair and wouldn't be able to do it due to all the different tones in my hair apparently. He made me feel very unwelcome and not hopeful at all. He proceeded to work on my hair though and after he was finished, my hair looked exactly the same and I was charged $245, which I did not think was worth the price at all considering my hair looked no different. He said we could set up another appointment but that it would take a few more before I would get to the color I wanted. Of course I said no due to my overall dissatisfaction. I was very disappointed with his work but most of all, his attitude because a hairdresser/stylist is supposed to make their clients feel optimistic and welcome during their appointment. Maybe I caught him on a bad day, but I will never go back and never forget how he made me feel.

I was quite anxious about getting a haircut with my daughter. I have always had bad experiences with hairstylists, but Daniel did an excellent job. He knows how to treat his clients, he's nice and patient. I definitely recommend it.

He was very informative on how to treat your hair type. Daniel is nice and patient. I went with my mom and he did completely different haircuts and hair treatments, he knew what would favor our hair. Out of all the hairstylists I've gone to, Daniel is the best one. Not to mention the previous poor experience I've had with stylists. They had damaged my hair and I was worried about getting it cut again, but Daniel made me change my mind. My mom found him here (via Google) and we could never be more grateful.

After a three years of box coloring (such damage) and family haircuts, a family member purchased a gift certificate to this salon. At the conclusion of my consult with the talented Daniel and his team (Adriana is fantastic!), a hair detox and coloring plan was in place. I knew instantly that Daniel was an expert in his field. The entire process from fried, damaged hair to healthy highlights and a great cut was enjoyable and my hair is amazing!! Thank you a million times. I could not be happier and am excited with the haircare plan and products that you have offered.

Daniel always reschedules when you book him if you are new. It's clear that he plays favorites. Do not recommend. He is very unprofessional. I definitely recommend looking for someone who genuinely likes and wants to do their job.

Daniel is an amazingly gifted stylist with state of the art training. You can tell that is his art is his passion and it really shows in the final product. I have two family members and a friend that are stylists out of state and they always remark on how beautiful the color is when I see them. I’m very thankful to have found him.

Daniel is an extremely talented professional. I‘ve spent the last six months transitioning to not coloring my hair and allowing my gray hair to grow in. I went to Daniel to see if he would be willing to blend my gray and natural color to help me with the grow out process. He did an absolutely amazing transformation on my hair! He took the necessary steps to pretreat my hair to keep it healthy and educated me on caring for my hair properly after my services. What he did to transform my hair, most stylist would shy away from. He is very knowledgeable, talented, and dedicated to serving his clients well. My hair looks very natural and I’ve received tons of compliments. I am so thankful to have found his salon!

I came to Daniel after bleaching my own hair for many years, and I was in major need of a change, and for someone to really help rejuvenate my hair and still give me the blonde look I love! I have been looking for a master colorist for my heavily processed, mature, 'yellow' hair for some time. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and it is clear he has great skill, takes pride in his work, and cares about his clients. I have been trying for years to get my dark hair to an ash blonde. After many expensive treatments and not much success with different stylists I found Daniel. Daniel took the time to explain what he could do and to prep my hair prior, a very important step most people skip. Today in one session I have beautiful light blonde, long, healthy hair, that feels so good, and we had fun! Daniel even sent a message later to make sure I was still loving it. Thank you so much!! Where do I Begin? What an amazing hairstylist. Danielle was very professional felt I more like a friend then a client. I have not did my hair a few years. He did me and my sisters hair. He did an awesome job could not be more happier with the outcome. My sister struggles with anxiety, and he was very patient with her. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

daniel knew what he was talking about from the beginning, after looking into many hair stylists, he was the one to trust. Daniel color corrected my hair for the best results i asked for a balayage with some highlights and they turned out sooo good 😍 after he styled my hair he gave me some great recommendations on hair products and on how to keep it healthy if this isn’t your sign to go i don’t know what is. my hair was literally dyed black a year ago and he transformed it into this

Daniel did my hair cut and highlights today. He did a fabulous job. I LOVE it! He is very good at what he does and I would highly recommend. The only thing I’m sad about is I’m moving and won’t be back for him to do my hair again.

I had such a great experience with Daniel and he truly exceeded my expectations because it had been a long time since the last time I got highlights. I had severe outgrowth and damage from previous stylists and not only was he able to treat my hair to look and feel a lot healthier, but also give me the icy blonde/silvery tones I wanted within one appointment!
