Fariba is amazing! I am so satisfied with the haircut she gave me. She is super friendly and would always ask me exactly how I wanted it to be before she cut it. She has 21+ years experience in hair cutting and it is very evident how much knowledge she has when she would explain to me what happens when the hair is cut a certain way as well as how to add more volume, take care of it, style it etc. Plus, her prices are much lower than other salons around westwood. Definitely recommend and would go back to her again!

I have been going to Fariba for a few years now. She is not only friendly but also takes the time to explain why a certain hairstyle or cut might not work with my thick, wavy Indian hair. Fariba kindly shares tips on long-term care and how to maintain my new style specifically for my hair type. During my recent visit, I got a bob cut with bangs, and I am very happy with the results! Please note that you must make an appointment in advance, either via phone call or text.

I’ve been coming to Fariba since 2015. She had great ratings on Yelp and I know why. She is so sweet and truly understands hair. I have thick hair and if it’s not layered properly it becomes poofy. She listened to my needs asked my preference for how much to take off during a trim and does so every time I’m there. She is professional and easy to talk to. When she relocated to a different salon across the street, I followed her. I’ve taken friends to her and my mom. They all loved her too. The past few years, I’ve been having her style my hair for special events. It always looks glamorous and the hair stays in place regardless of how much dancing is involved. This last visit, she also did my make up after doing my hair. At the event, I was a walking billboard. Everyone wanted her name and #. I was happy and always am when visit her.

Fariba was so quick to respond to my request and scheduled me right way at her first opening. She started by shampooing my hair and then the scalp massage she gave me was so relaxing. After she was done with that, she dried my hair fast, and styled it based on my haircut. Her place is located just above the famous prime pizza, this hidden gem is surely a place you should visit if you’re ever looking for the best hair stylist. Fariba’s energy made my experience even more special; I truly am so grateful to have found this place, If you are looking for the best around she’s the one for sure. ^__^

I have been going to Farbia for five years. She is wonderful! I get the keratin straightening treatment, highlights and a haircut. My friends all noticed when I started going to her how much nicer my hair looked. She is a pleasure to work with to. She has a great feel for what will look good on you. I highly recommend her.

FARIBA IS AMAZING! I was in la for the day looking for someone who could cut my hair last minute. I had been cutting my own hair for like 4 years and was afraid to go anywhere especially because I have curly hair. I ended up getting impatient and made a bunch of phone calls and fariba had the best price and was open to taking me so last minute! She even explained everything she did while she was doing it and why she did it for me because I told her how I would do my own hair and she wanted to help me! The kindest woman I’ve ever met! And on top of that my hair?! LOOKED AMAZING! I love my new cut I’ve always wanted the rounded bottom and voluminous vibe and she understood the assignment! A+++++++ don’t sleep on her because she’s a queen!

Fariba is amazing! I've been getting my hair cut from her ever since I moved to LA over 6 years ago. Best person to cut your hair and super flexible. I can text her the night before I need an emergency cut and she can usually fit me into her busy schedule. Highly recommend.

Fariba is an excellent stylist! Before even picking up the scissors she talked through exactly what I was looking for from my haircut. When she did start cutting, she showed me how much she was going to cut off and got my approval first before doing so. I’ve never had such an interactive and customized haircut! I went in with freshly washed and air dried hair, so it was a dry cut and style. The price is unbeatable for the level of incredible service she provided. Thanks for making my hair healthy again!

Was a bit skeptical at first given AJ's review below but unfortunately got a similar result - terrible cut and she completely ignored the picture I sent. She claims to be able to cut asian hair yet somehow butchered the most straightforward asian haircut - simple fade on the sides and longer on the top. We probably spent more time arguing about the style than the actual haircut as she claims to know your hair / style better than you do. Definitely not good for people under 30 (or any age at all).

Edit- Fariba marked this review as fake but that is not true. I came in on 01/19 with text messages and calls between us as proof. Fariba, I would have let you keep the total amount if you had just been honest with me about your services :/ Not good for people under 30. Fariba totally butchered my hair, ignored the picture I showed her originally, and gave me her own "mayor's wife" special. Got some of my money back but she kept trying to justify what she gave me was what I wanted and refused to own up to her mistakes. Went to another salon right away, where they fixed it no extra color correction charge and even stayed after hours for me... they agreed I was RIPPED OFF.

This was my first time going to Fariba as I was in bad need of a haircut. I called her up and it was very simple to slip in the next day for an appt vs having to book weeks or months in advance. I had an idea of what I wanted and she gave me very good suggestions/tailored (with my hair texture/thinness) for what would look good/what can be done. I love how detail oriented she is bc I am very picky and she took her time to make sure that I was happy and that the style was cut/layered at the right places/even. I also like the safety precautions she takes when you're there/quite sanitary and felt perfectly safe (ex: she asks you to hold the extra mirror with a towel to ensure there's no overlap of touching, etc). At $40 for a haircut and how detail-oriented she is/knows how the hair will wear and grow out, I'll definitely come back. Thanks much Fariba - I'm glad I found a new stylist! :)

Left hair really choppy. Will never go back so much for having long hair if she doesnt know how to cut thick hair.
