Johnny has been part of our lives for over five years. He has cut both my hair and my daughter's hair and I can confidently say that he is a tremendous blessing when it comes to our hairstyles. He genuinley cares about how we look today and in the future. Watching him cut our hair is truly an art form. We leave feeling like the most beautiful women ready to take on this crazy world. The hour-long drive is absolutely worth it!

I saw Johnny about a week ago and just wanted to post an update...my hair STILL looks amazing, which never happens once I get home and am left to my own devices to deal with it. I wake up, finger comb my hair and use some of his wonderful product on it, and out the door I go...Johnny is simply amazing, and I will fly in from anywhere to see him!

I first heard of Johnny G when my friend got her haircut there. After seeing what he did with her hair and hearing the excitement in her voice about her experience, I knew it was time for me to see him as well. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I booked my next appointment right away because he absolutely is an artist and makes you feel so empowered leaving the salon. It was a wonderful experience.

Johnny G is WONDERFUL! I absolutely LOVE my hairstyle and his products!!! He gave me his full attention and helped me decide what services and products I needed. He explained what he was doing and how I would style my hair with the products at home. The color is AMAZING!!! My daughter said she loved my highlights and I don't even have highlights. He blended several colors together and their rich colors shine through. My cut is also FABULOUS!!! I have thin hair, and the way he cuts the hair leaves it feeling bouncy and full. The products help my hair keep its style without weighing it down. I can't wait to see him again in 6 weeks! Thanks Johnny G - I feel great with my 'new' hair!!!

Johnny was wonderful! I had received a bad haircut in January and was looking for someone to fix it. I saw Johnny's videos and really wanted to trust him to fix my hair. Luckily I was able to get an appointment and he did an awesome job on my hair. He knew I was very nervous and talked through everything he was going to do step by step before any cutting. My hair turned out awesome! I have naturally curly hair so I can't wait to see what it looks like after I wash it and style it curly. Thank you Johnny!

I've had the honor of knowing and working with Johnny for well over ten years. While he's trained at some of the most prestigious salons in the UK and Beverly Hills, when you get right down to it, he is one of the nicest, most genuine, and kind-hearted people you could ever hope to meet. He has such passion not only for sculpting hair but also making sure each and every one of his clients feels beautiful. Johnny's one of those professionals who wants to help people--to help them feel better about themselves. He just happens to sculpt hair, but what he really does is make women look their best and feel wonderful about themselves. While I am embarrassed to admit that I cut my own hair, my wife has seen Johnny a number of times, and she loves the way he makes her look and the way he makes her feel about herself. Johnny's this way with every client he works with. He's a master hairstylist, and he's also just a hell of a caring, uplifting, ALWAYS positive, and gentle stylist who everyone enjoys spending time with. What a blessing to find Johnny G. I have been looking for this hair cut my whole life. It was amazing that as booked up his schedule may get, I was able to get in the day before my birthday. I couldn’t ask for the best birthday gift then to have a haircut that made me feel 15 years younger. The evening I got my haircut, I couldn’t wait to get home and play with my hair. I had a moment where it brought tears to my eyes because it made me feel like I was actually staring at my younger self again. After that moment, I had to get the wine out and put a Dolly Parton movie on because that’s how fabulous I felt. And we all know Dolly Parton has AMAZING hair!! I am now going in for my color today!! I am so excited to see the end result and a share an updated photo. I have had great hair days every day since my haircut. I can’t imagine how much better it can get after my color. I had not cut my old crone hair for decades. I had just kept it oiled & restrained all the time. I told him I liked my gray & that I had limited styling ability. I had no clue what would look good and I turn it all over to Johnny and he did his magic. I told him he could do anything he wanted. He has the insight & knows hair. I love my new hairdo! My hair looks & feels healthier, it lays beautifully and has taken years off my look and covers my bald spots. The salon is beautiful, clean and serene. Johnny exudes love and positivity. OH MY GOD!!! Johnny G is amazing. A true artist! I moved to Scottsdale 2 years ago and have not been able to find anyone who truly knows how to cut a graduate bob with an a-line on one side (the famous Victoria Beckham blonde bob!). It's a sassy and edgy haircut that only a truly talented stylist can accomplish. Johnny G also does not over cut. Most hairstylists cut too much off when trimming or shaping short haircuts. But less is more, and Johnny G gets that! He also gave me that "piecey" look in the back without chopping alot off. Finally, the products that he uses are amazing. I didn't leave feeling like my hair was weighted down or sticky. I am truly, truly amazed at how he transformed my hair without over-cutting it! Of course he is booked out quite a bit, so get on his waiting list. That is what I did and it was worth the wait. Trust me! All of you short-haired ladies out there know how hard it is to find someone who knows how to cut short hair. Go to Johnny G. You will not be disappointed. You will be speechless with a huge smile on your face!

He is a true professional and an artist, the salon is immaculate, and he gave me the best haircut I have ever had! I am so excited to continue to have him work his magic on my hair. I’m so impressed by Johnny G! I had hair down past my tush and grew my bangs out to my shoulders…took me over a year! I had gone to another stylist that was recommended to me. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!! He butchered me!! After talking first n sending him tons of photos of hair cuts I wanted n Color …even photos of me!! He chopped my hair past the 6” I told him to! It was more like 10” and then I asked for multiple layers! And he gave me 1 horrible layer! My hair is cut in a “U” not a square n he did a square!! I could go in but I won’t for this review is about Johnny G! And the mess he had to fix from this guy! Johnny n I spoke on the phone several times n late at night he welcomed me sending many many photos of exactly what I needed now! He asked me questions no stylist has asked me about my face shape n needs n hopes for my hair! He’s a gentlemen n most of all kind n super professional! One would be a fool not to call Johnny G! Thank you Johnny G for whipping my hair into a swinging free floating light weight fun hair style! You Rock!! And get his products too! They’re great!

My experience at Hair by Johnny G in my favorite city - Scottsdale, was incredible! He understands and breathes hair! What I mean is that he does such a beautiful and wonderful job sculpting your hair and is very artistic! The school he went to did a great job training him and he is honestly a "master artist" and is in his element fulfilling other's dreams of perfect hair. You won't ever regret getting your hair done with him and he is the icing on the cake because he is such a wonderful and very empathetic person...He wears his tender heart on his sleeves. I loved him!

As a retired hairstylist, it is so so hard to find the right stylist for yourself, but I found JOHNNY G! He truly listened to me, analyzed my hair and it is the first time I felt like I got a CUSTOM HAIRCUT! He even takes time to show you how to style it in a way that you can go home and do it yourself. I am at a loss for the exact words to begin to describe the most amazing salon visit that I have ever had. From the moment I entered the beautifully decorated and spotless salon, my Johnny G experience was absolutely amazing! From his very warm welcome and professional consult regarding my needs and wants for my hair to the absolutely amazing end result, he made me feel relaxed (great relaxing music as well) and confident this would be a great end result. Johnny knew exactly what my personality was and the type of haircut that suited me. I have been to many salons the past few months and never really happy with the color I received. Friday was my lucky day; I could not keep the excitement within me when he turned that chair around. The color made me so happy and the feeling of my hair was amazingly soft and bouncy and I have very course, curly hair! My mood was lifted! He is very detail oriented and professional. I would refer to him as the PICASSO of HAIR! So happy I finally discovered him. Thank you so much for the wonderful color, highlights and cut. I would definitely recommend a visit to the salon. I found Johnny G about 3 years ago from a TV News Show. They said how talented he was. So I booked an appointment and I was so happy, I won’t go anywhere else! Yesterday October 8th he did my hair again, I hadn’t been in for awhile because of Covid, my hair was a long dried out split end mess. He gave me the most LUXURIOUS haircut and partial highlights. The way my hair laid after he cut an styled it left me so happy!! I will definitely book my next appointment right away. I highly recommend Mr Johnny G to take care of your hair. Oh my if you want to distress, and end up looking FANTASTIC this is the place for you! I drove a 120 miles to have a hair style consult and style and I am so pleased. The service is totally private which made me feel like a Hollywood Star. The in-depth consult enlightened me. The final result turned out so fantastic!
