I started seeing Keila almost a year ago to help me with my annoying grays lol I wanted to start the transition into blending rather than continuing to cover them. It took me a little while to trust the process, but that’s more to do with me accepting the fate of my follicles. 🙃 If you’re going through a similar situation, Keila does an amazing job! I absolutely love my hair! But it’s not only the color/gray blending, her cuts and blowouts are *chefs kiss* Not to forget mentioning her pricing, unlike most salons that charge unreasonable rates, Keila’s prices are more than reasonable for the incredible work she does. I honestly can’t recommend her enough!

Keila styled my wedding hair and it came out absolutely gorgeous!! I asked for lots of volume (without extensions) and the result was stunning!! I wish I can have hair like this every day. My mom’s and sister’s hair came out so beautiful as well. Very professional, timely, and so easy to work with! Pricing was very reasonable and well worth the money.

I absolutely LOVE how my hair came out. From the moment I booked with Keila, she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I sent her two pictures of my hair and one picture of what I wanted. I was really nervous going into the hair salon for the first time in 12+ years and Keila made the experience so pleasurable. She didn’t rush the process and took the time to make my vision come turn. She made me feel so comfortable trusting her with my hair and trusting the process. She was so sweet staying pass closing time to finish up my hair and I never felt rush. I can truly say I found my hair stylist for life 💙 I will definitely be going back and getting my highlights retouch and hair cut! Keila has been my very trusted go-to hair stylist for the past few years! She is truly a color correction specialist, and saved my hair twice (including Magenta covid hair, dry damaged hospital hair), and has always managed to make it look gorgeous AND healthy! Keila is a true artist!! I came to her in August in desperate need of an expert who could help blend my gray roots into my brunette hair. After 3 sessions of babylights over the course of 5 months, my hair looks better than ever! She has been able to hide/blend the grays so naturally and also keep me brunette like I wanted. Keila is a master of her craft!!!

I was looking for an expert hair stylist for curly hair and I am so glad that I found Keila at Salon X in Jersey City. I trusted her with coloring my hair for the first time and I am so happy with the results. Keila found the most natural color and highlights for my curls. My curls didn’t get damaged at all and I was able to get rid of my grays. Keila was also so diligent with being careful with my allergy by checking each ingredient on the products that she used. She also does great dry haircuts for curly hair. I will be coming for Keila for many years to come!

I'm so happy I found Señorita Sone! Keila does an exceptional job whether it's blowing out my curly hair or enhancing my natural curls. She's also amazing with color. She was the only one who could get me back to a natural shade of brown (in one sitting) when I grew tired of blonde. I highly recommend all of her services. She is a miracle worker!

I’ve been going to Keila for about 5 years. She gives me the most stylish yet practical haircuts. I just blow dry and go and look like a modern New York career woman. She always takes my feedback with grace and patience when I want an adjustment, and gives my hair beautiful color and the most natural highlights. I always get complimented on my hair and when I tell people I my highlights are salon-made, they are always shocked bc it looks so natural. And she’s a very sweet and easy-going person. Since moved in NYC, I've been looking for a good hairdresser and Keila is the one!! She is very professional and meticulous and I'm really satisfied the result. I have thin and soft Asian hair, which many hairdresser found it difficult to deal with, but she's done gorgeous balayage on my hair like a magic! Highly recommend and love to come back again.
