It’s always nerve-racking going to a new hairdresser, but ever since I started seeing Marianne when I moved to Massachusetts last April, I’ve been really happy with the results. She made me feel comfortable right away and has done amazing work with my extensions, coloring, and trims. The appointments are always enjoyable, and she’s easy to talk to without it feeling forced. I always leave the salon feeling confident and loving my hair. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and personable stylist who consistently delivers great results!

Came to Marianne after not having had my hair cut in 16 months. Previous haircut was in the Netherlands and was phenomenal - I took off 8-10 inches to donate my hair after COVID isolation times. Was nervous to get it cut again, not having a regular stylist I really liked in Boston despite living here for 6 years. But after moving to Dedham and reading reviews, I felt pretty certain this was the place I should try for my next haircut. I was not wrong! So glad I came to Marianne! I showed her a few pictures from the previous haircut, she made some helpful comments/suggestions, and off we went. I've received numerous compliments on the haircut, some even from people I'm meeting for the first time. I'm so pleased and will definitely be back. Edited to add: It's now almost 2 months since my haircut. More days than not, I am *STILL* receiving compliments on the cut. Nothing like this has ever happened before. This is wild. Marianne can apparently cut it so it still looks fresh and new 2 months later, to the point that people who already noticed the cut before are wondering if I got it cut again.

I have been seeing Marianne for many years. She is talented, professional, and listens to what you want. I get my color and Keratin blow out done every 6 weeks and could not be happier!! Frizz be gone. Loving my dream hair!

As a strawberry blonde; quality hair color is hard to come by. I was blown away by the level of expertise at Marianne’s. She took the time to listen to my needs, had patience with me while I scrolled through pictures with her to be sure we had the perfect color. My hair is now the perfect blend and remained healthy. Marianne is the best! When living in MA, I was able to have the pleasure of having my hair cut and styled by her. She takes great attention to detail, listens to her clients and cares deeply about you and the end result. Had I not moved in Maine, I would definitely continue seeing her. The first time I went to Marianne was about 10 years ago to get my hair colored and I loved it. I just love everything she does I come in with ideas and she makes suggestions and give me exactly what I am looking for in the end. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Well it took me long enough but I am finally here to rave about Marianne who has been doing my hair for the past 6 years since I moved to the Boston area in 2017. When you move somewhere new, you take quite the risk in placing your trust in a stranger for services like this. You trust them to listen to what you want, do a good job, and (especially for myself) NOT try to sell me on something I don’t need or am not comfortable with. I struck gold when I discovered Marianne! She has been so easygoing, courteous, and masterful with her work. Each time I leave an appointment with her, I am impressed with how good I feel with the results, how she remembers details about me from nearly 6 months prior, and how she doesn’t ever pressure me to come more often. In fact, I trust her so much that I let her dye my hair for the first time in my life! I have followed her to what will now be her 4th location since I moved here and will continue to as long as I can.
