Michael was phenomenal! He is truly dedicated to his job. I have community service scheduled for tomorrow and my hair needed some TLC. Michael respectfully provided me with a fabulous updo and I am forever grateful. Thank you for accommodating my work schedule, accepting my family, attentiveness to detail ,friendliness, and professionalI atmosphere. I really appreciate it. I will definitely return for my next appointment.

I haven’t had a trim in 2 years and was so nervous to get my hair done again. I have a head full of hair, and it’s not the easiest to deal with. Michael was very patient, pleasant, and a breath of fresh air. I didn’t feel judged for how much hair I had, and he made me feel very comfortable. I like how genuine and real he is. He will be HONEST about the health of your hair, and does not sugar coat. My hair has never felt so healthy, so bouncy and so light. I feel amazing. He will do what is BEST for the HEALTH of your hair. If we want the best results for long lasting healthy hair, then we have to invest in ourselves and im advocating to start that healthy hair journey with Michael. It’s worth it!! I will be coming back. Thank you Michael! (I got a silk press, deep condition, trim).

Wow! On my first visit, I absolutely appreciate how Michael took care of my hair. I’m a natural TWA (teeny weeny Afro) I appreciate the skillful way of inspecting my hair to make sure he does it right and the way I want it to be done. He did exactly what I wanted! I booked my appointment for my daughter for a silk press. Not only did he take my appointment last minute he ate my daughters hair up. He took the time to really investigate her hair and bring it back to life.its been 4 days since the appointment, and her hair is still looking amazing. The pic of her in the pink is after a couple of days. I will most definitely be coming back to get my hair done.Thanks again, the birthday girl loves her hair 🫶

After having several texts as well as a phonecall from Michael this morning verifying my 2PM appointment today, I arrived a little early for my appointment. I knocked on the door and was told my stylist wasn't there and I couldn't wait inside. I went back to my car sent him a text. It was about 20 minutes after 2 before I heard anything. Although he did apologize and admit he was late, the $50 booking fee I gave is not being refunded but I was asked if I would like to reschedule and when. As a new client, I was neither advised in writing of his business practices nor was I told in any text dialog that the $50 fee was non-refundable. I could understand if I was negligent in any way but I did what was asked of me as a new client. We as customers are expected to keep our stylist abreast if late, needing to reschedule, etc. This is part of the reason why business owners ask for these fees; however, what rights do the customer have if they did what was asked of them? Life happens, things happen but doing the right thing, simple respect and common courtesy go both ways. It's a blessing to have a thriving business and as a servant of others, more is expected of you.

He’s friendly and decent customer service. Hence why I’m giving 3 stars. I had a sew-in with a leave out done. I don’t believe it was properly done as I had tracks falling out after a week of having my hair done and braid down underneath completely became undone. No negativity or hate I’m just leaving a honest review.

Mr. Farris did a silk press on my daughter’s hair, one word -AMAZING!!! She previously had a silk press done elsewhere, but nothing as long lasting as the work of Mr. Farris! Not only is he excellently skilled and knowledgeable at his profession, the experience was also warm and welcoming.

Scheduled an appt with Mike after reading the reviews and am so happy with the results. I needed a long overdue trim and he was able to silk press my hair to get it to a healthy fresh start after styling in braids for so many years. He provided great service, advice and support. It was well worth it and will continue to seek future services with him!

Michael did such a wonderful job with my hair. I didn’t know it could look so beautiful. Michael is professional, witty, easy to talk to, a great listener, and he knows what he is doing. I went to Michael for a silk press and cut and was NOT disappointed!!! I got a steam treatment to add some much needed moisture to my hair, and that silk press was silky, light, and had all the movement. I will definitely be booking again soon for prom 🥰 If you’re wondering if you should book here, just do it!!! You will love your results, and Michael is incredibly friendly + respectful.

Micheal is Amazing. His service and outgoing personality make him the perfect stylist for anyone looking for a lovely hairstyle while also being comfortable.
