I came to Tara after many years of not having a haircut as I grew back out from a Signourney Weaver via Alien 3 look. She was INCREDIBLE and super sweet. I genuinely love my new cut and I feel hella cute. I feel taller and more spritely too but that's probably more due to the confidence boost than the haircut itself! 10/10 would recommend, let her take care of your hair.

Absolute worst haircut I have ever received. Says they specialize in curly hair, which is why I went there...walked out looking like Little Bo Peep. I will cut my hair in the mirror before going back here.

BE AWARE prior to using her service! I made my appointment online a week ago. My appointment is 12:15pm. When I signed up online, I have no problem with the store cancellation policy, which is the appointment will be cancelled and a fee will be charge if no show up within 10 minutes of the appointment. Regular stuff. HOWEVER, YOU KNOW WHAT, THE OWNER IS NOT NECESSARY FOLLOWING HER OWN CANCELLATION POLICY. She is not following the 10 minutes window time even she is the one setting up the cancellation policy at her website (which also require the client to confirm and follow, otherwise pay). I did my part. I signed the policy as required and gave her my credit card info and agree to pay if I am 10 minutes late. I did my part, but she did no do hers. I have arrived at the store at 12:23 (8 minutes late. My fault. No parking outside the store, had to parked 2 blocks away & it's raining) and knocked for a while. No one answered. There's even a sign on the glass door said the store is closed. The door is locked so I have no way in. I waited and knocked outside the store for one minutes or two. When I decided to call her (as no one answer the door yet and it is raining), I saw a message said that she already cancelled my appointment at 12:23pm. 8 minutes after my appointment. She texted me at 12:23pm and said per her cancellation policy, this appointment is cancelled and a fee will be charged since I did not show up within 10 minutes. (The 10 minutes hasn't even passed yet when she texted me.) AND I WAS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE STORE at that time. I even texted her back immediately and let her know that I am just outside the store! I have called her but no one ever picked it up. She texted me back and argued that she waited till 12:25pm (10 minutes) before she cancelling on me. Well, then I showed her the cancellation message I received before she "cancelled." Shen then replied that she won't charge me the fee. During the whole time, I was texting her outside the store just to communicate. The door remained locked the entire time. I don't care the fee, but I can't help but think if someone is really inside the store at all in that 10 minutes, the situation won't be like this. This business owner is lack of basic respect for some of her clients. As a client, we have to read through the cancellation policy set up by her, but she did not even take it seriously. Instead, she sent you a screenshot of her cancellation policy prior to the agreed time and let you cope with it. A phone call would be nice, so at least I could answer you that I am outside your store. I felt bad for being 8 minutes late due to the parking and weather situation. Things happen. I do apologize for being 8 minutes late, but I thought this is a business. You locked the store after 8 minutes? Please consider, if you want to cancel the appointment and charge the fee, please at least stay at the store till the agreed time. It's really not too much to ask since the client will cover half of the price if they run 10 minutes late, and it's your policy overall.

I just went and got my hair cut by Tara, through a recommendation, loved my experience and my hair looks great. Tara was friendly, accommodating, awesome personality, and the business is easy to find. Prior to the appt, she texted me and let me know that she would be waiting. Super helpful. I will be going back. High recommendation to have her cut your hair.

I have been going to Tara for two years now, and I always walk away from my appointments feeling refreshed and beautiful. She has always done my hair exactly how I like it. And she knows how to cut curly hair. It had taken me 10 years to find someone who knew how to cut curly hair properly. Tara is the best!

I've been getting my hair cut by Tara for several years now, and I simply love her. I often go in and just ask her to do what she thinks will look best (within a few parameters, of course), and I always walk out of her salon happy with the results. She's fun to talk with as well! I'm so glad I found her. My days of SuperCuts are OVER.
