Wanted to love this place, the service was friendly but unfortunately one of the worst hair experiences of my life. Came in for a balayage and cut, I hadn't colored my hair in 5+ years. Balayage came out totally orange and uneven, and my ends are so fried from the bleach sitting on my hair entirely too long. The cut is also extremely uneven, the bangs alone were so crooked. I had to immediately make another appointment at a different salon to (try) to save my hair but unfortunately it's totally ruined for the time being. 0 stars if I could, go somewhere else ladies.

I asked for curtain bangs and this is what she gave me. Not sure how in 2024 someone could mess up curtain bangs so badly and in what world someone would think this looks good. And of course I paid over $100 for this because they don’t offer any cheap services.

She’s great. She explained everything to me, gave me lots of suggestions, and was very gentle. My hair felt light and cleansed after seeing taty. She very sweet and has great customer skills. I’d definitely recommend her and will be coming back.

Dominique gave me the absolute best hair color. She really took the time to feel out my vibe and understand what I needed. She was extremely knowledgeable about product and helped me create a routine to maintain my style and color at home. The entire staff was so professional. This was such an amazing experience I will be returning and recommending to friends.

They absolutely ruined my hair. I went in for a curly cut and she did everything I did NOT want her to. I could not have been more specific with what I was looking for and it was the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Which says a lot. I’m so heart broken right now because my hair takes forever to grow out. My hair looks horrible and WASAYYYY too short. They claim to know how to cut curly hair but I would trust them with something as simple as a trim after this. I can’t stop crying over how I look. I had to go get it fixed somewhere and get it even shorter. They wouldn’t even give me a refund for a haircut that was $200. I can’t even wrap my head around the whole thing. Please don’t trust them with your hair.

I am so happy with my cut! Tatiana listened closely and worked with me to help define what I wanted my hair to do/what I wanted from the cut, and was super informative about care, styling and products. Not only did it look great but it was so nice and bouncy when I left! 😁 The person who helped me with booking and payment was also very friendly and helpful. Everyone was so open and knowledgeable.

Faith is a great stylist and lovely human being! I’ve been trusting her with my long curly locks for several years now and whether I’m getting my hair colored or cut, getting a blow out or styled curly, I’m always super happy with the results! The salon’s vibe is relaxing and the staff is super nice and attentive. I highly recommend trying out this great salon!

I came here for a blowout with Dominique and I can say it's one of the better blowouts I've ever gotten. Not just in NYC but anywhere in the world. On top of being a total ray of sunshine, she sat with me first and talked through what I was looking for, explained the products we were using and then gave me what I would say is an excellent blowout. And my hair isn't exactly easy, it's very thick and very unruly. I'd consider myself nit-picky and I get pretty nervous leaving my tresses to just anyone. But Dominique put a lot of care into what she was doing and really put me at ease. And then I left feeling like a million bucks (without spending a million bucks). A bit of a hidden gem of a salon that I'd confidently recommend.

I love my visits to Hair & Co. Dominique is very caring and lets me know what she is doing at all times. I have never had a problem when she braids my hair, which is never too tight. I was in need of a trim before having braids installed. I booked with Faith who also gave me a nice head massage after my shampoo and conditioner. I was in and out in under an hour with a blowout and trim. It's humid outside. The dew point is 66. I only went for a trim and not to wear straight hair.
