I love that place. I go there for my hair coloring and haircuts. They are awesome. They do hair coloring, cutting, and styling. The services are great and the staff is very friendly. The Absolute Best! Finding someone that is amazing/specializes in curly hair has been such a struggle in the San Antonio area. Then we found HAIR COUTURE!! Let me just start off with the VIBE in this place! Yes, it matters. Fantastic music and everyone is happy! Such a pleasant & inviting atmosphere. **VICTORIA** she is our Gurl! She has the best personality and an ELITE beautician! Nothing that woman can't conquer. From my daughters curls, to my copper color loving self, to me seeing (clients before me) get the most gorgeous "bob" cuts. Insane talent!!! Let me not leave out her amazing coworkers! The sweetest!!! Every one of them are boss women!! They will have you feeling & looking gorgeous when you get out their chair. The salon is up to date with all new products that well, we just couldn't live without. And ...it's CLEAN, smells like...BOSS WOMAN! Id leave 10 🌟 if it would have let me. I went in about a week ago to get a haircut. I took a picture to show the stylist. It started out okay, but then when she started cutting the back, I felt something was wrong with the way she was cutting it, so I asked to see it. Oh my gosh. I was right. The back was being butchered. Upon further inspection, the sides were not even. Another stylist came over to try and fine tune the cut, but it was too late. She cut a little more here and there. I was extremely upset! Then I was told that the girl in the pic I had shown them had her hair styled, etc. trying to suggest that is why my cut didn't look like the picture. I can tell you the cut itself was BAD, and not because it wasn't styled. I went in with a full head of long hair. My hair cut looks so horrible. Now I will probably have to live with this for a year before my hair grows out enough to have this cut corrected. The girl that cut my hair did have blue hair. I just noticed another review from a customer who stated she received a bad cut from the same girl. I wish I had read it before going in. If a stylist does not think they are qualified to give their customers a cut they have requested, then they should let the customer know instead of cutting it and hoping they will get it right. I did try and style it with the curling iron, etc. the next day to achieve the look I wanted, and I can tell you I was not able to, because the cut is wrong and looks nothing like the pic I took in.

I recently got my brows laminated and tinted. It was a great experience! There was a massager on the table which helped me to relax and feel pampered while Farina was completing the service. She explained all of the steps and answered all of my questions thoroughly. She did an excellent job on my brows, I will definitely be back for more services!

I just got my hair cut here yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the result. In my previous experiences, I never seem to walk out totally happy with what my hair stylist gives me...they never seem to stick to the photos I bring or really don't take the time to get it right. I came here after reading great reviews and just went with whatever stylist was available. I couldn't be happier with Laygi and how she made the whole experience. She was kind, ready to listen, and really took the time to not only get to know my history with previous bad cuts, but also to really understand what it was I wanted. She was super communicative and took the time to give me exactly what I wanted. I can't remember the last time I walked out of a haircut as happy as I was. The rest of the staff was also very kind and welcoming, the salon itself was nicely decorated, the music was on point, and the price was great!

Farina is a pro at what she does; I am totally in love with my eyebrows. I went from having very thin (almost nonexistent) eyebrows, to having full natural looking eyebrows. She was patient with me (from start to finish) and she worked diligently in achieving the natural look I was going for. I look good, and I feel good; thanks Farina for a job well done!!!

***Loved it!*** I've always wanted to check it out bc I live relatively close to the salon and have driven by many times. I'm so grateful and excited that I did the Fri before my father's big 70th bday party. I have very long, wavy, thick hair, and my new stylist actually sat down with me and asked questions and answered all of mine. I got shorter layers, curtain bangs, and an ultra-smooth blowout! She did everything I was looking for and more. I am extremely happy with it. I'm definitely going back. YAY for HAIR AFFAIRS!

Laygi is SO TALENTED!! She did my sisters hair last month and she did such a great job that I went back for my own hair! My sister got her hair done somewhere previously and her hair was not what she wanted at all. Laygi was able to correct it back to exactly what she wanted originally! If you want hair color/balayage, I cannot recommend Laygi enough!

This place rocks! Everybody is extremely knowledgeable. Not many people can do blondes right, my natural hair is pretty dark and so far my hair gets so many compliments. It’s soft and silky and damage is to a minimum. My hair takes time, but I appreciate my hairstylist Laygi who does my hair right every time!

Went here to get a haircut on my birthday. Never have I been sadder after a salon. Worst haircut I’ve ever had, all I asked was to freshen my already existing layers and to take a bit of length from the end. A lady with blue hair chopped my hair so poorly, my curtain bangs looked like a bowl cut and the full effect could be compared to a wolf cut with no layers or a mullet. She didn’t blend or texturize them either and they were just big bulks on my head. Not once throughout the process did she ask if I liked or was ok with anything, just snipped away. My birthday was completely ruined until I had to go to an entirely different salon to get a lady to fix it. She had to take off more length in my bangs just to blend the hackjob that was done and thankfully I look ok now, forever mourning the beautiful hair I had that this lady fd up

Went in with hair oast my shoulders. Very thick and heavy. Gave them free reign to cut my hair just not a pixie cut. And I loved it. Amanda us my stylist. But all the ladies there are great.

I always get exactly what I ask for here :) I ask only to have the dead ends trimmed and a few layers and that's exactly what my hairstylist did! I love that. She also styled it nicely and the prices were fair. Good place to go!

Love! They are amazing here. I called 15 mins before closing incredibly upset. I had gotten a terrible haircut from someone else. I as desperately looking for someone to fix it. They were incredibly understanding and kind. I got the first appointment the very next day with Victoria. She is just amazing. We discussed what I wanted, how to fix it, and what can cannot be done depending on things (how I part my hir, the effort it would require for different styles, and the kind of hair I have). She fixed it and it's even better than I hoped. She even does color. Her quote was better than most. I cannot wait to go back. Definitely give them a try. I'll be referring everyone I know. The prices and service is the best I've found in years!
