Anais did last minute hair cuts for me and my friend, Michelle and she was very fun and informative and made us feel and look amazing. I appreciated the consultation before and got exactly what we wanted!

Hair Cuttery has become my go to since I moved to Charlottesville a year ago. All the staff is super nice and patient and they really make sure you feel confortable and happy with the end result. I have also taken my son (3y) a couple of times for a cut and they have been soo patient.

I had the best haircut ever and brow wax on point! I had a best experience and I will recommend Bri and Anaya for doing a cut for my husband too. It was perfect! And we love it 🥰 We will definitely go back!! So happy

Unfortunately one of the worst haircuts I ever got. I didn’t even need to pay for it because it was not fixable. Coloring aswell did not turn out as talked about and was inconsistent. Definitely not recommending

Brianna was very friendly. She gave me exactly what I asked for. I'm currently growing out my hair from having it bleached, and it felt so soft and healthy when I left. I'll definitely be returning, and requesting her!

Tremendous staff at this location these incredible ladies are awesome these awesome ladies I love talking with a lady about baseball and her grandson playing for the James Madison University so wonderful the confidence that this lady had the friendliness that I'm part of the staff you know I love life I love life and I love people and it's great to know that you can really have a wonderful place to come so wonderful so wonderful

In and out super quick around noon on a wednesday. Professional, friendly, clean, good cut. I have a very simple hairstyle but they all seemed seasoned pros. Would rreturn again

I received a shampoo and a cut. I have had my hair cut by Willie two times now and both times I got excellent service. He massaged my head during the shampoo and applied conditioner and special hair treatment. He listened to what I wanted and didn't want and took his time cutting my hair. At the end, he had me look at it in the back with a mirror and run my hands through it. He also triple-checked it! The way he cuts my hair makes the wave come out softly. I have had other cuts where the waves are cut sharp. He was respectful and we had a wonderful conversation. He is pleasant and easy-going and kind to the customers and co-workers! He has years of experience and it shows!

I showed pictures of what I wanted. I picked out a color swatch in line with what I wanted. But the outcome was terrible! I knew there was something wrong when I could feel that the foils were not pushed all the way to the root/scalp. The outcome was no where near the color I requested. Nor was it a match tobl the color swatch that I chose. I'm extremely upset I'm calling the manager when she's supposed to be there on Tuesday (today is Sunday).

I booked an appointment with Kelva because of all the numerous wonderful reviews she has, however my experience was not the same. She got water all over my face when shampooing my hair and was quite rough, but admittedly this is not a service I usually do at other salons so I figured I just didn’t know what to expect. My haircut took less than 10 minutes. Another woman walked in during my appointment and spoke to her about her appointment being at 3, which was the same time mine was so I believe this is why she rushed. My hair was very wet when she said she was done and I couldn’t really see the cut. I left and ran some errands, then when I got home I saw the right side of my hair was a good 2-3 inches longer than the left. I called back and she asked me to come back. I was back in 15 minutes and though she was apologetic, I still feel she rushed. I had to point out about 3-4 times I still felt it was too long. She said I think what you’re seeing is your side bang, so I settled for asking her to give the right side an angle. After pointing it out so many times, I didn’t feel either way I was going to get her to make it even, so I said it looked good and left. This was Sunday, today is Tuesday and I have done my hair for work, and I am embarrassed to wear my hair down. It is still obviously uneven. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to go to another salon for it to be fixed.
