I’ve gotten my hair cut by Maria twice now and she has been amazing! You can tell she cares about her customers and listens to everything you’re saying! I hadn’t seen her since February and she remembered me and the things we spoke about! She is so comforting and makes the process of cutting your hair comfortable! I have super long hair and it is definitely a security blanket, I went in to get some dead ends cut off and some face framing layers and she did just that! Recommended some leave in conditioner that she used and it has my hair feeling amazing! Thank you again Maria! <3

The stylist seemed very out of practice and somewhat off. Like perhaps under the influence of something? She lacked skill and precision, therefore I do not recommend this salon. I agreed to having a 1 inch trim but it somehow turned into four inches. I had to trim some spots that she missed myself later. Thank God it’s only hair and it will grow back but it was so disappointing.

Tried out this shop today as my regular barber is not open on Monday's and I am super slammed tomorrow. Maria did a wonderful job and I look forward to going back to her again.

Visited this location after a disappointing experience at another location. So glad we did! My daughter had a conditioning treatment and style with Madison and I had full highlights with Stephanie. Very happy with how both our services came out. We will definitely be back.

NEVER WILL I GO BACK!!! I am not one to normally put reviews, but I am still suffering from the experience I had there. The frustration from how damaged my hair has been has finally pushed me to finally make the review. If I could have put a zero star I would. It's been approximately two months since I have been there. I requested a Shampoo, cut, style, and a restoring/moisturizing treatment for my hair in which I spent $60-$70. The girl put in the wrong treatment in my hair in which stripped my hair so bad that I literately am still having chuncks of hair falling out. My hair used to be all the way down my back and a medium thickness. She did not cut my hair in the style as asked. I thought the reason my hair was so dry after leaving was just the sprays she put in for styling. After washing my hair, chuncks of hair kept coming out. I went to another hair stylist and she checked and confirmed the treatment had stripped my hair and made it become so brittle that it was falling out. Even with the new stylist's recommendations of using hair oils, it has only helped a little. My hair has thinned out so much that I now can not even use my regular large claw clips because there's not enough hair anymore for it to hold and just falls back out. It was a horrible experience and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Ariana and Debbie are fantastic, since the Julington creek location closed I still travel to see them both! Going to the same person for 12 years and meeting another great one makes it a solid experience. They are understanding and adaptable, and always able to accommodate your needs and help you with your hair. Best Regards Matt

I had a haircut with Maria and it may have been the best haircut experience of my life. I’ve always worn my hair long and usually have to argue with whoever is cutting my hair about how “I’m sure” etc etc. Maria was amazing! She didn’t try to talk me out of the inches I wanted to take off and even made sure during the cut that she had it short enough for me. Maria also helped advise on shaping my hair for the best movement but in a way that I could manage. Cannot recommend Maria enough!!! Even if you don't wear your hair long, go see her, she will take amazing care of you!

The pricing upon arrival was absurd. The fee you see online when booking is not properly reflected when you arrive in person. The stylist demeanor of the stylist was mediocre. Felt like we were inconveniencing her to have her tend to my daughter. Upon check out I asked if there was a military discount and was told that I just missed them as apparently they only occur Monday thru Wednesday. I didn’t realize that our soldiers were only worth a discount on certain days. Unfortunately, My normal stylist, Maria, was unavailable for this appt, and after the ridiculous appt, maybe I need to consider an alternate for hair care.

Walked in and approached the desk the lady at the desk just stood and looked at me like "What?" And mind you I can not hear very well at all so if she said anything I did not hear her greet me and I asked do you have any availability? . She looked at me again like I was imposing on her and said umm ummm no no not at all today . Well I went to a competitor instead leaving this place as I was not good enough to be a client there. I won't return no worries.

2024 ... 'I enjoyed having my hair shampooed and cut by Dan! He listened to an answered my questions with confidence. Also, he explained how different products (from the ones I'm using) could give me better control and care of my hair. I was very pleased with my appointment, and I look forward to my next experience of low lites and a shorter cut with Dan. I feel I can trust him with my hair. Thank you, Dan!

Came here for the 1st time, have previously gone to the Hair Cuttery at Durbin Park. Service was great and haircut was excellent. Only quibble is their hours both on their app, website and Google are wrong, e.g, they close at 6 on Friday not 9, so if booking late evening or early morning or planning to walk in, I suggest calling to make sure they're open. Can understand Google hours being wrong but the business should ensure their website hours are correct.
