I had really damaged my hair after doing too much to it in just two days, and I hated how it looked and felt. In a moment of panic and embarrassment, I went to Hair Cuttery hoping for a solution. From the moment I walked in, Jessica and the team made me feel at ease. They greeted me warmly, and their knowledge and genuine care stood out immediately. Jessica took the time to assess my hair and recommend the best way to fix it, and the results were amazing! My hair looks and feels so much healthier, and I left feeling confident again. I can’t thank Jessica and the Hair Cuttery team enough for their kindness and expertise!

The most TERRIBLE experience. My appointment was for 6, we waited 20 min she cut the back of the hair and left lines - did not blend. When I asked her if she would blend the lines, she told me it’s “even” and a “layered”. She stopped when I asked again to blend it and asked her coworker “do you want to cut this, I’m not comfortable”. At this time I asked for the manager and they wouldn’t give me the name. I told my son we were leaving. Her coworker then came over and showed her how to blend the lines. I left with lout the shampoo that comes with the cost and went to another place to have them fix the disaster. I would highly discourage anyone from coming here. A complete disaster! The hair grows back, but her cut required me to go way shorter than I wanted. It will take forever. Whoever is the manager should shut this down.

This was my first appointment at the Laurel location. My daughter got a blow dry and silk press. The stylist was nice and I was able to get a last min appointment. I did not like the up-charging without notification. My daughter’s hair comes to the top of her shoulder blades (just below the shoulder) but they charged a long hair fee. No way if she wasn’t Black would this be considered ‘long hair’ and charged a fee. They also charged for a package with a cut but the stylist did a trim (Less than 1/2 inch cut). My payment at the other location for the same service is about $35 cheaper. I won’t make another appointment here due to unfair pricing.

I felt completely at ease. I’ve always been nervous about letting anyone with scissors near my hair because I’ve had some really awful experiences—haircuts that left my hair looking choppy, uneven, or way too short. No one ever seemed to get the face-framing right, either. With PCOS, I also deal with hair thinning, so I’m cautious about using different products from what I’ve been using. When I explained all of this to Mady, she totally understood. She didn’t pressure me to wash my hair but instead educated me on which ingredients to avoid and which ones could help control the oiliness I was dealing with today. In the end, she gave me a beautiful cut with layers and face-framing that truly felt right for me.

Asked for layers and curtain bangs. So disappointed at the outcome. Looks like chunky chops and did nothing to get the curtain bang look. She took 10 minutes to do it, not gentle or careful at all.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my wife and I recently received at your salon today (9/14/24). She had scheduled an appointment well in advance, but our experience was far from satisfactory. We arrived at the salon on time for her appointment. However, stylist Dana proceeded to work on two other clients, causing her to wait over an hour past our scheduled time. Despite having her color request clearly noted when we first arrived, my wife was only seated in the chair after a two-hour wait. At that point, Dana informed her that she was unable to perform the requested color treatment. This situation was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My wife’s appointment was a waste of time, as she had to leave the salon after having spent two hours waiting, only to be told that the service she had specifically scheduled and looked forward to was not feasible. She had planned this visit weeks in advance, and the lack of communication and professionalism demonstrated by stylist Dana was unacceptable. We expect better service and respect for our time from a reputed establishment-like Hair Cuttery. Management needs to address this matter appropriately and take steps to ensure that future clients do not experience similar issues.

I came in to hair cuttery for a trim after going to salons for years. Made an appointment for the first available stylist. Waited about 30 minutes and got put with Dana, who just had another woman come in, and seemed to be in a rush. I sat down and told her what I wanted (a trim with long layers and framing around my face). She told me her cuts were $36 because she is a master stylist so her prices are higher. Fine. But then I expect master work. I was not shampooed or conditioned (which I later looked online and saw this is included with a cut). She BARELY wet my hair and cut me practically dry, which I have never experienced before. I literally say in the chair for 2 minutes, she did a straight line trim, did an angle in front, and that was it. Literally 2 minutes. No layers added. She didn’t even take the time to ask me how I part my hair. I understand that hair cuttery isn’t a luxury experience, but for almost $40 I expect to at least be shampooed and worked on for longer than 2 minutes. Will not be returning.

I had a VERY unpleasant experience today with DANA. Apparently she’s the “Master Designer I” but her manners don’t even match a regular representative. Very rude and very unprofessional. Where the hell do you find and hire ppl like her. I was disgusted. Never will step foot into that salon again. Whoever the manager is you can go ahead and watch the cameras. Do better

I have to wonder if people just make things up. I see reviews on here saying things like the “Indian decent” woman is rude and blah blah. I only get my hair cut by Vanisha and she is the sweetest lady ever. I actually look forward to coming in and getting my hair cut. All the ladies here are very nice and professional. I had to comment after reading all of these negative reviews, it’s baffling.

I noticed that someone reported that the "Indian lady" was sarcastic and racist. I am multi racial and have been coming to the multi-cultural salon for about 10 years and have never felt slighted for my Curly, tight knit hair that takes 3 hours to do. Everyone, including the Indian lady who is my stylist, Vanisha is welcoming and accommodating. Please come an experience this shop for yourself!

Mady is an exceptional stylist. I’m an older woman so I’ve been to a lot of Stylists over the years. Mady is my favorite ever. She really listens to what I want in a cut and gets it exactly how I ask. Mady does my color perfectly!

Been there a few times before and had an overall good experience. I only come for bangs trim and hair trim. Went yesterday because I'm going on a trip on Wednesday. I asked for the same one I usually get. My hair looks horrible and I left basically crying. Still can't get over the whole situation. One stylist started trimming my bangs and even tho I said I wear is as a curtain bangs she cut it in a weird way. I said I want it to start on my eyebrow or below. I got short bangs that look ridiculous and is extremely uneven. When it comes to my hair I showed her how much I wanted it to be trimmed and I said I wanted to keep the U shape. I left with some horrible chopped layers that I didn't ask for. My hair is significantly shorter and there is no way to style it to hide it unless I guess I curl my hair….. After I saw what happened to my hair I stood up and she asked the other stylist for help. She said she needs to blend it but there isn't much blending done. I can't wear my hair straight because it looks like a joke. I showed my pictures of how I wore my hair and what I wanted before we started. The first two pic/videos are what I got, the next picture shows what I wanted basically, and the last is how my hair was right before that awful cut😭😭😭 This should not be allowed!! If I could u would give zero stars.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and have always left extremely satisfied. Vanisha is the absolute BEST she truly cares about keeping my daughter and myself hair healthy and looking its best, my hair has grown so much over the years thanks to her superb level of care & has remained so healthy throughout the years she has been taking care of it. She’s truly the BEST & deserves more than 5 stars!!!

This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever experienced. Do not believe that you can be a walk-in and be service within a decent amount of time. I came in as a walk-in And I was initially informed that I was only gonna have to wait 10 minutes. The stylist that was supposed to Cut my hair purposefully ignored that I have been sitting there waiting on her to cut my hair. She tried to lie and say that these other people that she was servicing had appointments. When in fact, the lady that was sitting next to me, said she did not have an appointment, but the stylist continue to not provide me service. It was an absolute waste of time. I wish I knew what her name was. But the day that I went in, she was Working at the station closest to the door. She is possibly Middle Eastern with dark shoulder length hair. Do yourself a favor and go to the Ulta across the street and make an appointment at the salon in the Ulta.

Every time I come here I have a good experience with the Jamaican or African American lady but the lady with Indian descent is very Rude and sarcastic. She lied about the registers being shut down and she couldn’t take me multiple occasions while I watched her ring up a customer for products. I dont know if She does not particularly does not like me or my race but it’s never a good experience when she is in the salon 🤦🏾‍♀️ Even the customer who she was ringing up was appalled she lying about the registers being closed.

Extremely unethical Practice. Will give you treatments that you did not ask for up charge you double to triple when you did not ask for it and try to pressure you to pay them when you didn’t even ask those services. This was my second time, and I tried to give them another chance, but they scammed me yet again. I will not be returning ever and nor should you. I highly suggest the hair Cuttery location in Fulton

I just got my hair done with Meaza and she is phenomenal! Her customer service is amazing! Her kindness, promptness to make sure I felt comfortable and okay was very much appreciated. She styled my hair so well, takes her time, and has great skills. She’s extremely friendly and I would and will be recommending her to others! Absolutely LOVE my hair!! Thank you Meaza!

This is my second time getting a keratin treatment done here. Meaza makes you feel comfortable and does an excellent job!! I am very, very pleased with the results, again!!! Told the lady I’d like 1/2 inch trim. Checked with me on the agreed upon length…for some reason she switch it up and cut 4 inches off my bangs. No words for how bad it made me look. Should be fired IMO

Had a few good cuts here but this last one wasn't good. Booked with Dana the senior designer. She was very distracted helping others before and after, I was definitely not the priority. She cut my hair to the length I asked...wet so of course when it dried its way too short. Feels pretty basic for a senior hair dresser. Then tried to upsell me even though I was already using what they sold me last time. 36$ haircut she took all of 8 mins. I'll only go back if I can get Meaza.
