I walked in 20min before closing time. 3 employees were sitting there on there phones with no other customers, and they told me it's to close to closing time to give a haircut. They would not do it. Very poor customer service!

I’ve seen 3 different stylists at Hair Cuttery as I schedule last minute/walk in. They have all done a really great job! The app is easy to use for scheduling. Great styling and product recommendations too!

She was very kind. It was the first time I'm tried a new stylist and I was very nervous. She talked to me about everything she was doing with my hair and always checked if I was comfortable. Our conversations were very nice and I knew I could trust her after the wash, before she even started to cut my hair. I was very happy with the results and I really enjoyed my time there.

From the first time I sat in Jessica’s chair, she has been amazing. I change my hair length and style a lot, don’t always give the best direction of what I want, and I am naturally a pretty critical person, which is probably super annoying for most hair stylists, haha. She will give you honest advice and feedback, and I have never been happier with going somewhere for a haircut. For the first time in my life, I completely trust her skills, and know that I will leave satisfied 👍

OMG let me tell y’all, I have had a couple different people doing my hair and liked it. THE LADY NAMED KATE II is the best ever!!! I’m so absolutely in love with my hair cut and really fixed my problem with my curls. Sweetest ever and definitely coming to see her again!

Christopher is the best! He gets what I want every time, he is an amazing colorist and stylist. Plus he is great with my kids! My teen girl, my four year old son, and myself get our hair done with him. I am so glad I found him!

Do not go to Adrienne at Hair Cuttery at University- Destroyed my hair! Has no clue how to color or do highlights. Went for basic highlights and ended up having to get a single process that was green/gray/brown in color bc she bleached my whole head. Gave me an attitude after too ruined my b-day week and my hair. Will never return!

Had a friend who needed a tapered buzz cut and beard edging before work on Monday. We were in the neighborhood, looking for an open salon and Hair Cuttery popped up. Made an appt with Mandy who did a FANTASTIC job! Highly recommend her.

If I could give a zero I would. I went as a walk in for my 5 year old son and was told 15 minutes no more than 30 minutes. After an hour my husband finally said something and said they had no room for walk ins. The manager said she had no idea we were even sitting there when she made eye contact with us 3 times in that hour. Absolutely horrible. Just should have said up front they were not taking walk ins. Over an hour wasted. We went elsewhere with better customer service.

I have gotten my haircut (simple - 15 min cut) here before and was thoroughly impressed the first time unfortunately I can’t remember her name who did it. Cut my hair around 6:30pm before they closed. I just tried to go back there over an hour to close and there were 2 employees sitting there talking, no one in the store, and I asked if they had time for a quick 10 min walk in, and they just said nope. Sorry. No explanation, just looking at me. I said you close in an hour right? And they just said yup. And I said um ok…. Thanks and walked out. Only reason it is getting 2 stars is cus the first experience was a world of difference. Won’t be using this location again.

I left crying, my son’s hair turned out nothing like I thought it would. I hate writing a one star review but it’s more of a review to warn others. I showed an inspo picture and left with a half bald son. (Pictures show inspo, before and after) I was very honest during the haircut and voiced my concerns, she tried to blow dry it to make it look better. It still wasn’t what I expected. Very choppy and doesn’t flow together. She asked my son if he liked it and he said yes (he’s 3). Her response was at least one of you like it. I get she was trying to lighten the mood but I didn’t think that was necessary to say. Needless to say I paid for a bad haircut and left trying not to cry so my son wouldn’t notice. I’m at a loss on how to fix this! I was charged for a kids haircut but online it said shampoo and conditioner was included (he was not offered this service)

Today they treated my 11 year old son very poorly, they gave a haircut that we didn't ask for, the person never asked what we asked for, he was upset doing the haircut, my son says it made him hurt the whole time, he left this place crying The hairdresser was very rude, we felt discriminated against and mistreated

Alec is amazing! Great consultation so I felt confident he understood what I wanted & I could relax and trust him. He gave me a great hair cut & explained what he did. He made me feel taken care of. From now on, I will only see him! Great experience!

Jade did an excellent job. I went in with long hair, and I asked her to cut a shoulder length bob. I did show her a sample picture, but she cut my hair perfectly. I will recommend Jade to my whole family, and anyone else that's looking for a great hairstylist. I plan to go back in a few weeks to have her put in highlights around my face. I love my new hair!

Made an appointment online, in advance and when I got there to check in, everyone was booked and was toldI to book another day.

Scheduled an appointment day before and stylist called and confirmed it day of. I get there early and just let them know I'm running super early and they said they could do my appointment a half hour earlier. So I wait around for my appointment 15 min before my appointment another stylist comes up and says that the stylist that was supposed to do my hair isn't feeling well and that's why he called me. He never called to cancel just to go over what I wanted. The other stylist could not book me in and I asked if they could schedule me at a different salon. They book me on for the one on 70 and I had to wait there just to leave due to stylist telling how much work my hair needs and how " terrible the style is". I understand it I needed to get my hair done but I'm not going to sit there to have someone talk me down just to charge me for more services. Very disappointed that half my day was waisted to be talked down by everyone. I understand I was early to the appointment but they didn't tell me till 15 before my original appointment that they stylist wasn't feeling up to it.
