I have not cut my hair in over 2 years. I have pushed everything aside to care for my family especially my parents, one who had a long hard fought battle with stage 4 Cancer and recently passed away. I literally let my hair grow out; therefore, would just pull it back or in a bun. I got tired of doing this. The stylist I used to get my hair done; I couldn't go to due to caring for their parents, who recently passed. The other salon I went to began the process of retiring; therefore, she would let new people style. She had one female cut my hair 2 years ago. After that, I did not like how she just trimmed a bit, didn't style, and didn't listen to how I wanted my hair yet charged alot. That being said, a friend of mine recommended Erica with Hair Diva. She told me to give this place a try knowing how picky I am with anyone cutting/styling my tresses after the last experience. She was not wrong. I was able to see a selection of options on her detailed website, choose the options, and set an appointment online at a time convenient for me. I went and was greeted by Sofia. I let her and Erica know I was there for my appointment. They heated the water to perfection for my shampoo wash then headed to get my hair done. Erica listened to my situation and understood everything. She is very knowledgeable on hair care and explained how it needed to be trimmed the right way. I placed my absolute trust in her and Sofia and I was not disappointed. She managed to cut/style my hair the way I wanted and let's be honest needed it. She is a true professional with an array of expertise. I highly recommend Hair Diva and will refer her to my close family and friends. Erica and Sofia are very professional stylists and especially compassionate, caring, and very funny women. Thank you, thank you, thank you ladies. I love my hair. It feels soft, voluminous, light, and perfect. I honestly can't thank y'all enough for your knowledgeable advice and shared life experiences. Erica is THE BEST hairstylist in my opinion. Yes, when I'm ready, I will finally let you color my hair (I have never dyed my hair. Still have my natural born color). Overall experience, Hair Diva is the best in the city. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Erica is the best. Thank you for also keeping things light by talking about the 80s. It was fun reminiscing about the past. Take care

I love my haircut from Erica!! I went to her from a recommendation from an IG page and I will be back! She asked about my hair and really seemed to understand. I wanted to trim my ends and keep my length and subtle layers but also thin out my very thick hair. Done. I haven’t had a cut I like this much in as long as I can remember. It’s laying perfectly! She also advised on a highlight plan and talked to me about wavy/curly hair care and hard water and Texas heat. She is knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. And, her salon has the friendliest vibe!! I will be back when it’s time to highlight!

Erica did such a GREAT job on my hair, I dyed it blonde myself prior but it was very yellow, roots growing out and dry when I came in and I missed some spots in the back so she color corrected, brightened and softened my hair and I am so happy with the result! Thank you so much! I highly recommend her to get your hair professionally done, she informed me on the best methods to care for your hair & is very knowledgeable in her field! Thank you again!

The most beautiful hair color and highlights!! She always uses quality products and it shows. (I know bc I practically grew up in a salon… My mother owned and worked in one.) I first had my hair done with Erica a few yrs ago. Time and time again, she has consistently proven to be top notch so I trust her professional recommendations. As a child I remember going to the salon with my Granmother. It always felt like she was walking into an old friends home. I loved listening to the women catch up and talk about their lives. While Hair Diva is defintely not your Grandmother's salon Erica makes you instantly feel welcome and reminds me of those days. She did an amazing job recommending the perfect color for me and the cut is exactly what I needed. I'll definitely be returning for all my hair needs for the foreseeable future!

Erica did a fantastic job on my hair!! She kept my hair the length I wanted but added a few layers to tie it all together, she gave me a beautiful color to cover my gray 😊. Erica, THE Hair Diva, is so talented at what she does, and she does it with passion. She is always up to date on the latest styles, techniques and products. She has fixed many problems of a previous stylist and has a lot of patience. She is equally good at cutting men's hair as well and takes care of our whole family of four. She is communicative and always gets us on her schedule. Support a local family business - you won't regret it. You are also sure to make a loyal friend in the process.

Erica did my hair Thursday to tone down an old low lights job i had that was brassy. She was quick,friendly and fun. Next day i felt the color was a little to light and asked if she could tone it down a bit more. She gladly said yes and took care of me that day. The outcome was awesome. I was totally happy and she was happy to accommodate me and make me happy.. She even said to let her know how my hair adjusts and to come back if im unsure. Thats real customer service. She aims to please. Her shop is cute and clean. I was very happy and will continue to use her!🤩😁

Erica/Hair Diva is exactly that! A hair diva! I am extremely picky and won't let just anyone touch my hair but she has become like family to me and my girls. I started going to her several years ago and my girls and I love her and her work. She's professional she takes the time to treat you right she listens to your wants and needs and is very knowledgeable about hair products and how your hair will respond. Her hair colors are always amazing and you leave feeling beautiful about yourself. Her place is clean and professional and she goes out of her way to help someone.

Hair Diva!!! Aka Erica uses high quality hair products. She is conscience of her work so she will leave your hair looking marvelous and glam. She will inform and educate you on what suits YOUR hair. All hair is different, so don't hate if your did not take her advise. Use the products she sells, they are high quality products!!! It's not a marketing scheme...the products preserve color, help with styling, aid the hair. High quality products preserve the work and expense spent in making your hair look awesome when you left the salon!

In the past 5 years I have only went to a certain hair salon that uses Kevin Murphy color and hair products. I moved to Texas from Illinois in April of this year and thought I would never find one close to me until I went to the Kevin Murphy website and put in my new home address. I happen to come across hair diva salon this way. Going to a new salon in a new state gets nerve racking, but nonetheless my gray hair was coming through and knew if she used Kevin Murphy color and products I should be ok. I went in for my very first appointment with her and was treated as if I had been her client for years! She listened to what I wanted and did a fantastic job at it. I knew then that I had found a home for my hair upkeep. I am very particular about my hair and her recommendations NEVER disappointments. If you are looking at these reviews then you are considering a new salon. My recommendation is Hair Diva salon with Erica as your stylist you will be treated as you have been going there for years and your hair will come out looking phenomenal!! Hair Diva Salon will be my hair home as long as I live in Texas!!
