Ali Marie is the most wonderful hairdresser she is friendly and kind to anyone that comes into the salon. My hair always looks beautiful after she has finish styling.

Google Maps showed this place as walk-in friendly, IT WAS NOT. When I entered, a gentleman, supposedly the manager or the owner asked me "Who are you looking for?", as if I entered not a barber shop but his private club. Then he went to the other, not visible to me side to check if "anyone is free to accept a walked-in client", apparently everybody was busy on a freaking Wednesday morning, and he said sorry without offering to schedule an appointment or a contact card, which meant "F off". So I would agree with the other reviewer here, this does not seem a welcome place for a non-white. I would not suggest giving a business to people with such an attitude. Whatever you reply under this review, it's going to be FAKE.

Got a cut from Ashley this weekend. She was very good and made some really thoughtful suggestions. I would highly recommend her, she clearly knows her stuff!

I think everyone at this salon is professional and great at their craft. The family that decided to go on a one star frenzy should be ashamed of them selfs (Patels), to make it an objective to attack a business with bad reviews with out stepping foot in side the establishment is a joke. I’ve been coming here for about 17 years, they are all good busy people and are trying to make an honest living. Do better Patels!! do not work here if that’s what you think. I am in sales, so please don’t think this is bias. I just know all the individuals very well. Thank you.

I was absolutely thrilled to learn Ashley began working at Hair Emporium! I have been a client of hers for over 7 years and when she took a break to have kids I really struggled to find another stylist as talented as her, especially with color and cutting/styling. She recently started at hair emporium (before taking a break she used to be in Danville) and now works Saturdays only, which is why you might not see her on the website yet. Her prices reflect her work, she knows hair and is fantastic with it. She always asks and checks in first on what you’d like, how much to cut etc. Her work speaks for itself, people are always asking me where I get my hair done. She also does amazing make up too if that’s something you are needing. The review below along with the 5 extra 1 star reviews with no comments (who all coincidentally have the same surname and were posted right after) are unfair to Ashley and Hair Emporium. If you know how hairdressers work then you know they are self employed and rent chairs hence why Venmo or cash is always welcomed! My hair and I are so glad she’s back! If you want a cheap haircut maybe try super cuts?

So first of all, I’ve been a client of Ashley and she is awesome. She not only is a great colorist but she saved my hair from a bad extension experience. For someone to say this business is “White” friendly only is insulting and not true. My name is Rodriguez and I have never felt being treated different. Walk ins welcome does not guarantee they have availability and to say you weren’t served because of your race is ridiculous and a sad commentary from someone who clearly has their own issues. I never write reviews but when I saw this persons review, I had to speak up. Hair Emporium is great!!

For non-white people don’t go there. They wouldn’t take you in and would make excuses like you need to take an appointment and all our staffs are busy etc.. while I was there, for hair cut, on a weekday midday the shop seemed to be pretty empty and staffs were free.

Not Hair Emporium, the Nail Emporium next door! GREAT nail salon! I'm a client of Rubie's, have been for 10+ years. All the ladies know what they're doing though & they're always busy! And it is by appointment only! (It's rare when they're able to accommodate a walk in!) You won't be disappointed! From a classic manicure to high end nail art, the ladies at the Nail Emporium absolutely know what they're doing!

This is comfort! Great stylists. You won't feel like a number, but part of the family. Experience is the business....and great personalities. Talk or don't talk. They are accepting and warm. They listen to what you want, not what they think will look good. And..you won't cry in your car on the way home. A real feel good place.

My hair dresser recently moved to this shop. My first time there and liked it, very busy even at 3:00pm on a Thursday. Bright, open with eight stations I believe. Tucked in the back of a small retail center - Look for Athens Burger at the driveway entrance.

I saw Sandy who listened to what I wanted. Gave me a great cut and style . I booked my next appointment already something I usually don't do. She was just that good I wanted to make sure I got her again. Very nice lady.
