I had a WONDERFUL experience at Hair For You Salon. Cathy (the owner I believe) did a Japanese Hair Straightening Treatment on my unruly wavy hair. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about this treatment. The absolute best thing I have ever done for my hair. It is beautifully straight now. No more hot ironing if I so choose. Lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Those ladies know what their doing. I will most definitely be back.

Elise destroyed my hair, fried it off. What was left after my last visit with her was gooey, cottony strands and about two inches of hair left on the top, sides and back of my head. My whole head fried off into the worst mullet you have ever seen, no mullets are ever cool but this takes the cake of them. Goodbye long gorgeous locks. Goodbye Elise, & consider a new profession. Nobody deserves to have happen to them what this chick has negligently done to me.

I visited this hair salon for the first time this week to get my quarantine hair chopped off. I ended up getting an appointment with Naomi, which I'm really happy about now as I came out with a really awesome haircut. I've gotten tons of complements on it. Naomi is super friendly, professional, and obviously knows how to cut hair. She did a lot of work in helping me figure out which style I should go with next :D. The prices here are really reasonable for the area as well. I will definitely continue going here in the future.

This is the best place to get your haircut in the FL panhandle. Elyse cuts both mine and my wife's hair. She is the best around, and is pretty much the only person I have found that can work that fine line between a high and tight and a cut that requires me to go back three weeks later.

Amazing customer service. Gave me and my sister beautiful updo. Was suppose to havsomeone else do our hair who backed out. Called Friday for a Saturday appt she called around for us and called someone in to accomadate us...loved our hair got a ton of compliments. .

Got one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. Went in to just get a trim which I thought was simple enough. Apparently not. She took forever just to do a trim, and at that didn’t even use scissors. She literally went through my hair with the thinning shears and didn’t even touch the dead ends I needed so desperately cut off. Then she went through with the razor and hacked my hair in places that didn’t even need it. My hair texture doesn’t work well with razor cuts anyway. I told her I liked my hair longer in the front and what does she do? She trims layers around my face. She made my hair so uneven that I had to actually go back and cut it myself to just to even it out. I also told her I wanted layers in the back and she refused to cut them. After asking her 3 times, she finally cut some but they’re barely even noticeable.

Naomi did a fantastic job fixing a bad cut done somewhere else. She took time to review photos of the initial style I wanted. She offered expert advice on how my hair, with it's natural gray highlights, needed to be trimmed to tame those pesky stiff gray strands. Not only did she fix my hair, she showed me the best way to keep the style looking good at home. I highly recommend Naomi and Hair For You!

I love Elyse because my hair has gotten really healthy under her care. That’s no small feat because my hair is fine and fragile but also has a substantial amount of gray and needs a lot of processing. No sweat for Elyse! Even my husband is super happy because my hair is finally healthy enough to grow long. Yippee! Thanks Elyse, you are da bomb!

Elyse @ Hair for you salon has been taking care of my hair for about 3 years. I have nothing but great things to say about her. She listens to what I want, she even took me blonde from a dark brunette. The health and integrity of my hair is outstanding. She also educated me on what products I should use. No other stylist has ever cared as much. She has a customer for life with me. I’m just so happy to have found her. So if you are in the Destin area don’t hesitate to make an appointment with her. I'm a local, and I've tried a lot of places. Hair for you is fantastic. This is NOT a big chain... It's a boutique salon Priced just right with the nicest people and no pretentious fluff!!. Just Real people who love what they do. Elyse has been my stylist for over 2 years now, and she is absolutely magical with color AND cut on my very fine hair . She always listens to me and is thorough and gentle. Bonus* shes great at recommending new products as she gets to know your hair too. Love love love her! If i could give them 10 stars I would.

Beach wedding hair nightmare! Ugly prom hair coated with tons of hairspray and tight curls. The results looked nothing like the photo, more like a messy bee's nest glued to the side of my head. Luckily my makeup artist undid everything and saved the day! Not to mention they charged $75 to travel 1/4 of a mile from the salon to my beach house.

Hands down the best hair salon on the Emerald Coast! Super friendly and extremely talented stylists. They make you feel like family as soon as you walk in and have you walking out with a smile on your face and an amazing new haircut. I went in and had a young lady named Elyse cut and color my hair and all I can say is that I feel like Jake Gyllenhaal with the haircut and fade she gave me. This is the only place I recommend whether you're a local looking for a new stylist because your old is just isn't cutting it or if your a tourist looking to get a fresh new hairdo on your vacation. 5 star all the way.
