I’ve had an amazing experience with this lovely girl. She has taken my hair from brown to a perfect blonde, and in more recent days, my hair was botched almost BLACK & the first photo shows what we ended up with after just one session. Put your faith in her! She’s detailed, organized and ultimately just knows exactly what to do. I will now be commuting from San Diego to Scottsdale just for her :) thank you for everything MJ!!

10/10 will always recommend MJ and the girls at hair affair so much so that I literally drive 2 hours just to see her. Her work is incredible and her passion to help other feel beautiful is unmatched. I have never received so many compliments on my hair color in my life! She also does my tape in extensions & her application and placement of the tapes are flawless. She is also extremely affordable and accommodating. Don’t even look at going anywhere else for your hair needs because no other place matches what her & her team can do.

I got a men’s haircut and style from MJ when I first moved to Arizona for dental school. My hair smelled so good after and she was so great at massaging my scalp! Highly recommend. My girlfriend also goes to her for her hair extension needs as well!

I have looked for a high level master colorist in N Scottsdale for a while and at last, after two years, I found Mary at the Hair Affair. She understood what I wanted very fast, chose great colors and did all the job very fast and super professional. I will be back for sure: professional, artistic and with high level of communicating skills. Highly recommend!!

MJ is amazing! I got the 22inch hand tied extensions and they’re everything I ever wanted! Such a confidence boost! She is always so gentle when installing them, I’ve never had any pain because of her technique. She really knows what she’s doing!! I always come out of her salon so happy!

MJ is hands down the BEST hair stylist out here! She took my hair from a dark brown and extremely unhealthy to light blonde and the healthiest my hair has ever been! She’s also extremely kind and a great conversationalist. She keeps expectations realistic and her services reasonably priced. I’m always so excited to be back in her chair and I always leave felling 100 times better than I did going in. MJ is so amazing and talented! I went from bright blonde to the most beautiful deep copper red! I was nervous because red can be a difficult color to do but she killed it! I get compliments every day! I’m obsessed!! And my extension are perfection!!!!

I have been to FOUR hairdressers in AZ since I moved here in August 2020. None of them could get my hair the blonde that I wanted. Went to Mj’s Hairaffair and she absolutely nailed it. I am obsessed with my color. She did a phenomenal job, was so quick, and so reasonably priced. I found my stylist! I would highly recommend.
