Katie just let me run back in for a super quick fix after helping me last week to get my hair back in shape due to a horrible cut prior! Fixes on fixes! She was super sweet, professional, truly listened to my wants and made me feel comfortable enough on my first visit with her to call back if I wasn’t totally satisfied. Love this place and would recommend Katie to anyone!

Eric was absolutely fabulous. He took off 10 years with the cut he gave me. The wash was amazing and the round brush technique was on point. He’s a gem of knowledge and so understanding with getting you to where you want, goal wise. Loved every minute of my appointment.

Excellent salon! Holly was completely a professional, asked several questions about my hair health and routine and advised me on the best cut. I also received the scalp treatment and it is a MUST for anyone dealing with scalp problems! Super relaxing and scalp feels incredible. Holly has superb hair skills and I would highly advise all to come to this salon! I recently returned to get my hair color done and ArtieRose was absolutely amazing! Listened to exactly what I was looking for and gave back great feedback. Absolutely fell in love with ArtieRose!

Great first time haircut with the owner of Hair House. Didn't snap any pictures this time but it's a warm inviting environment in a converted house on West near downtown. The receptionist was friendly, offered a drink from a menu, and I was greeted by an assistant that took me back to the chair. After a short consult with the owner, I was taken for a wash by the assistant. Entire haircut took less than a half hour, overall very pleased and will most likely return. Men's cut was 100 bucks plus tip. Thank you Hair House ATX.

I absolutely love this salon! So happy I found it. It’s in the cutest house. Kallie and Artie have cut my hair and they did a fabulous job and they’re so sweet!! I will continue to keep coming back! Only downside is your have to pay for street parking. The street isn’t busy and there’s always parking but you will have to pay max $5

Best haircut ever. @Artie_Rose is the best stylist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She listened intently to what i wanted and because of that i got the best haircut I’ve ever had!! perfect and fabulous and I can’t wait until next time!! She was so much fun to be around and to talk with and I felt like she truly cared about me and ensuring I had a wonderful time with amazing results. So happy!!

Paid almost $300 for a partial highlight (partial means about 5 little hairs were colored blond), left with the same hairstyle I came, there’s literally zero difference. Plus it’s not a salon, but a residential house.

I had a disappointing experience with my blow-dry. I specifically requested a curly blow-dry, but that wasn’t what I received. My hair was still wet and frizzy afterward. Additionally, the online price was listed as $75, but they tried to charge me $95. I’m very disappointed with the service, especially since this was my first time in Austin, and I was hoping to have a positive experience with a local hairdresser.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my hair done by Eric at Hair House, and he was AMAZING! My blowout lasted the entire weekend, and I got so many compliments. Eric is incredibly talented and knows exactly how to bring your hair vision to life. If you’re in Austin, I 100% recommend visiting Hair House and booking with Eric. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been coming to hair house since 2020. When I say this is the BEST hair I’ve ever had, I truly mean it. Toni and Tyler who own the shop are simply icons. They are kind, funny, cool and above all else talented. My goal for my hair is always low maintenance, being a blonde with dark roots (y’all get it). I can go over 6 months without seeing Toni! 6 MONTHS AS A BLONDE! Even 6 months out people would ask if I just got my hair done… she’s just THAT girl. I absolutely love this place and I couldn’t recommend anywhere else I’d let touch my head! Thanks hair house yall rock 🔥

Hair House is the actual best salon in Austin imho. I’ve been in Austin 6 years and I’ve bopped around in search of a salon that was equal parts welcoming, cool, and full of talent. The space itself is charming and unique, feels clean and well designed. Parking is always easy right out front. Kallie has been coloring my hair for almost a year now and I’m obsessed every time. I can’t recommend Hair House or Kallie more tbh.

I have been going to Kalyn for over a year and highly recommend her and Hair House! She has done a WIDE variety of colors on me (purple, blue, natural blonde, platinum blonde), and I have always walked out very happy with a great experience.

I’ve been going to Toni Bish for years and she does amazing work every time. She recently added a scalp treatment to her menu and wow is it GOOOOOOOOD. Before she did hair she did massages and the head massage is unreal. She’s gotten rid of a migraine for me before type of unreal!

Tyler at Hair House is hands down the best of the best! I’ve trusted him to work his magic for many, many years, and he never disappoints. From the moment you sit in his chair, you know you’re in expert hands. He takes the time to listen, but honestly, I just let him do his thing because he always delivers flawless results. The salon itself is welcoming and has such a great vibe. If you’re looking for a stylist who’s talented, personable, and who you can trust completely, Tyler at Hair House is the one. Highly recommend! The entire staff is amazing!!

August 2024 Hair House is the coolest salon in Austin where has excellent stylists and great service. I returned to have Tyler to give me a complete makeover and did a fantastic job. He is truly a master pro hair stylist and makes sure you have a wonderful experience. The salon in in a bungalow house decorated in that Keep Austin Weird vibe. Parking has never been an issue where alway find a street parking spot and use the Park ATX app. I recommend calling to see if any or your favorite stylists has an opening. September 2023 I needed to cancel an appointment with Chelsea where conflicted with an upcoming spontaneous vacation trip so I called to do so. While on the phone I asked if there was an opening not just with her but anyone else and they had a slot opening with Andrew. He was a cool a cool guy who knew his stuff and asked him to go shorter than my last visit. He did an excellent job and showed me show to maintain my new look. He was easily to talk with and and had a great experience. He says best to call for appointments versus relying on the online reservation system. Like always if you drive here recommend using the Park ATX app to park along the street. June 2023 13 months later and my hair had really grown super long but did get shortened slightly a few months ago. As Tyler been having an extraordinary year in his private life so has his business. I keep trying but his schedule seemed impossible to get in so I decided to try someone else. I love Hair House with its eccentric hip atmosphere and his staff are so nice and friendly. It's an experience I have not found anywhere else. So, I had booked Chelsea to give me a new makeover. She was very professional and gave me suggestions and off she went first washing my filthy hair and then cutting away. I was sad to see my long hair get cut, but she assured me I will still have lots of hair and look really nice. She was friendly chat with and we both go to know each other. With all said and done I was very happy with the results where she is an excellent job. I went ahead and booked another appointment with her in a few months.

I was so nervous for my appt but Katie was confident in the vision and worked wonders on my hair color/cut! She is a great listener & gave me exactly what I asked for (blonde to “bronde” for the fall.) Highly recommend Katie, go see her!!!!

I've been going to Toni Bish for haircuts since 2021 (before she began working at Hair House ATX) and have gotten a variety of styles - short bangs, curtain bangs, shag cuts, bob cuts, 90s layers. I always leave looking and feeling like the reference photos! Toni is thoughtful, professional, and personable. I have naturally fine and pin straight hair, and her expertise has helped me add texture and volume to my hair styling technique at home. Hair House has an eclectic and naturally lit atmosphere with professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
