I booked with Sierra and had an unbelievable experience. Let me start by saying I was in a panic when I booked my appointment. My hair was tangled and matted together, and I couldn't get it untangled. I was convinced I was going to lose the majority of my hair which was down my back. When I arrived, Sierra comforted me as I cried while she assessed my hair and assured me that she could get it untangled. Over 3 hours later I was in the shampoo bowl with my head completed detangled. She was gentle and ensured that I didn't lose a lot of hair during the detangling process as promised. She gave me a wonderful deep condition, blow out, trim and silk press. I looked like a new person when I left. Sierra was amazing and she was great company during my time at the salon. She is a beautiful young lady inside and out and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the metro Atlanta area looking for a stylist. SHE SAVED MY HAIR! I will forever be grateful to her.

I’ve been to this salon several times in the past and always had a positive experience. The stylists they hire provide excellent customer service, and I’ve been very satisfied with the retwist and styling services for my locs. The stylist I had yesterday was a sweetheart. Unfortunately, my experience with a new service I tried, extended loc two strand twist —was extremely disappointing. Here are the key issues: 1. The extensions are not seamless. My real locs are sticking out visibly from the extensions, which looks unpolished and unnatural. 2. The extensions are inconsistently sized—skinny at the top and bulky at the bottom, which makes them appear poorly done. 3. Despite providing feedback during the service and sharing examples of what I was looking for, my concerns were not addressed. I contacted the salon's customer service inbox to share my dissatisfaction, but the responses I received were rude, dismissive, and lacked any resolution-focused approach. Rather than working toward a solution (such as offering to take the extensions out and style my natural locs or redo the extensions) they placed the blame on me as the client, citing the sample pictures I provided as “unrealistic expectations.” An experienced stylist should understand that photos serve as examples, not a rigid template. I shared two pictures to illustrate the length and seamlessness I anticipated from the service. I expected that the extensions would be consistent in size and appearance. Then, someone on their staff changed my appointment to a loc Bob. I didn’t know this until I got to the salon. My hair is a little past shoulder length and I would have no need to book extensions to achieve a Bob. The individual whom I was emailing, also cited that my locs were too thick. If this service could not be performed properly over my existing locs, I should have been informed upfront. I would have opted for a different style had I been given the option. Instead, I was left with a service that cost $200, is below professional standards, and their only resolution offered was to take it down myself. I’ve driven over 45 minutes to this shop on multiple occasions because of the good service I’ve received in the past. However, this experience shows a lack of accountability and professionalism on the part of the salon's management. I’m disappointed in how they handled my concerns.

This was my first time at Hair in Peace Beauty Salon. The salon aesthetics from the jump, beautiful. Nothing beats walking into a space and the atmosphere is calming. There wasn't a lot of ruckus and everyone just seems happy to be there. Taylor, the manager was the first person that I started communicating with and from the beginning was super welcoming over the phone relaying adjustments needed for my appointment all the way down to me parking my car and entering. Love a calm, cool collected individual with a positive attitude and just a welcoming spirit. Deonnie was my stylist and she did not miss. I’m new to the loc community, so I had questions. It’s very nerve-racking to be new to something and in a new space and with a new person working on your hair. But she was very comforting, she asked me questions to get to know me. She answered all my questions, without making me feel like I was asking too many. She walked me through step by step of what she was doing and gave me recommendations. Love!! Her energy 10 out of 10! Highly recommend! Before I even left the parking lot. I had already booked my next appointment! So I shall be returning!!! 😍😍😍

i came to hair in peace and got a color and silk press. first off i absolutely love the manager taylor she is the sweetest and will answer absolutely any questions you have. My stylist was Chylin and she absolutely DID HER THING! I love my hair every time she does it. and last but most definitely not least the environment was an overall 10/10. Sierra who is a loc specialist was also super sweet and added to the already great peaceful environment. if your looking for a professional and caring salon come to Hair In Peace!!

2nd visit update : I am a little disappointed by my recent visit . Sierra is such a sweetheart and super talented , however I specifically asked for two simple barrel twist . I even showed her a picture of my style . I did tell her that I wear wigs, however I explicitly requested two simple barrels . Sierra took it upon herself ,to style my hair with two inverted braids . I have starter locs, so my hair is already not as full, hence I requested the barrels . She didn't ask if it was ok, she just styled it ... for the sake of time I didn't ask her to redo them. However , as a stylist it's imperative to listen to your client and consult with them if you FEEL like another style may be suitable . I paid my money and expected to get what I asked for . Sierra is a great stylist , I just wished she would have listened to me . I am disappointed in my service . *********** Omg! Where do I start ! The ambiance of this place is immaculate ! When I first walked in , all of the stylist and the manager greeted me with such a warm welcome . Sierra did my retwist . Sierra is amazing . She's super bubbly , punctual, and talented . The manger was such a great helping hand . She provided me with wine and snacks , also the music was everything. I highly recommend this place! Sierra and the rest of the stylist are super talented !

I’ve had my locs for 15 years and I can honestly say this was the best salon experience I’ve ever had. From the time I walked in until I departed. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The interior of the salon is great to look at, the music was very nice, they offered wine & snacks. The manager Taylor continued to check on me to ensure my expectations were going as expected. Taylor knows how to host a salon and make you want to return for a next visit. My stylist Janai deserves a trophy for being an outstanding Loctition & Stylist. Janai has a wonderful personality, very patient, & highly skilled. She ensured that I was the most comfortable as could be. This Salon is highly recommended. I started my loc journey here with Alani and it was nothing short of amazing! She was professional, personable and precise. Not to mention she was fast but I NEVER felt rushed. The manager Taylor was also veryy nice and personable hyping me up through my whole experience ❤️ which was much needed for a new change I was not use to. I will def be back!

I started my loc journey yesterday with the two strand twist starter locs. Sierra is my stylist and she is AMAZING! I love her energy, patience, and kind spirit. My twists are beautiful and my parts are super clean! I normally twist my hair, but it’s definitely not on a professional level where I feel comfortable to wear my hair out in public. The twists she did are so clean and cute that I can’t wait to show my hair off at work! Very excited about this new chapter with my hair and I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I am very pleased with the services that were provided to me at Hair In Peace. Upon walking in I was introduced to my stylist Ja'Nai. She confirmed my appointment details and asked if I had any questions pertaining to my hair. I was offered a beverage and a small snack. My stylist wash, condition retwisted and styled my locs. The products used in my hair smelled so good I had to buy something (The owner makes hair care products). The environment was so relaxed I nodded off while in the chair being styled. The stylist was very gentle with me and got my parts so clean. I will say this is the best retwist I had since beginning my journey a year ago ( I had my hair styled by two popular loc influencers) that left me feeling that I should just do them myself. I left feeling great and now have decided to allow them to continue with my hair care needs.

This was one of the best hair experiences that I’ve had. Deonnie was my stylist and she did an absolutely wonderful job. The parts are crisp, she took her time but was quick and efficient at the same time. She was so welcoming and kind while starting my starter locs. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and she’s great at it. Taylor was so welcoming and delightful the entire appointment. I cannot wait to go back for future styles and retwists!

I’ve been loc’d 19 months now and I’ve stared and is still with hair in peace! In this time I’ve always been happy with their services. The atmosphere is always upbeat, yet calm and generous. I’ve been styled by Maya, her re-twists are very neat and long lasting! Also by Janai, she has done interlocking for me and styled me for an occasion and made sure she perfected what I wanted. And by Deonnie, she’s naturally quick at what she does and I was very please with my style! And let’s not forget ATL’s manager Taylor, she always polite and bringing the energy! This place is great! I just moved here and finding a hair place that can listen to what exactly you need in ATL took me a while. By luck i found them on IG, they set up a consultation with me and made sure that i got exactly the style i wanted. Also they have drinks and snacks, if they offer it take it! The front desk is also a vibe, super friendly woman that will make sure your very comfortable from where you're sitting to the music playing. Shout out to Alani, besides being hilarious she did my hair. She's super talented, don't yall take up all her time so i can get my locs done next now! My hair looked like a bird nest when i walked in there to leaving looking like one of the beyonces back up dancers! Can't wait to come back for some locs next, thank you all for all you do!
