Karla is THE best stylist I’ve ever been to. She’s so knowledgeable and kind. She takes her time and really cares about her clients! The neck and scalp massages are definitely an added bonus too! Love love love 💕

I never thought I’d be saying that getting a haircut is so much more than just getting a haircut! With Alba, she truly makes the appointment, an experience to remember! She has the most relaxing touch and it feels like time slows down so you can take it all in! I’m going to go back, over and over!

The last three $$$$& salons I used colored my hair in a disastrous way, giving me black ends, reddish middle hair and white roots. And terrible cuts.UGH!!! Nobody could figure out how to color me medium brunette AND ensure my roots were fully colored, not left an orangey white. For $150-500, those other colorists should’ve been able to do it . 🔥But Karla at Hair Lab/Science of Beauty fixed it all perfectly without damaging my hair at all, saturating my roots and giving me a nice light medium brown, which is what I wanted! My long hair correction was $579, which I knew well before my appointment. And considering she did so much in that appointment, it was well worth it, especially since my hair is not damaged but in good shape now. Her Camp Bullis CrownRidge location is so convenient and the parking is easy. Her salon room is beautiful and clean with lots of light from a big window. What a nice spot. And Karla is very professional with the highest quality standards. She does everything she can to make sure it comes out the way you want it. Karla is a keeper!!❤️

Love this place. I’m very picky and I was not blessed with great hair. I’ve been going here a couple of years and have transitioned through a couple different styles. Karla pays attention to what I like and incorporates elements that actually work with my hair and lifestyle. She even taught me how to style it. Strangers stop me to complement my hair now. Let me stress again…my hair is not naturally impressive. She has transformed the color and style. I gravitate to high end salons and have been to many in San Antonio and Dallas. Hair Lab is absolute find.

Alba is an absolute joy to work with ! I brought my daughter after her hair went curly on us and we were lost ! Alba gave us so much helpful tips and tricks and product information we left so happy I was in tears ! I can’t wait to keep bringing my daughter back and come back myself !

Both ladies at the Hair Lab are exceptional! Great customer service, amazing skill sets for curls, cut, and color services, plus a beautiful studio. Karla provided many at-home recommendations that made my hair care routine so much faster and easier! Alba helped my daughter by patiently and kindly teaching her how to manage her curly hair. Will be shouting from the rooftops about these 2! Best experience at a salon in my entire life. Never going back to “franchise cuts”.

Alba is absolutely wonderful! I have very curly hair and have always been weary of who cuts and styles it. Alba was very thorough in asking what I liked and disliked in a cut. She got me out of my comfort zone and gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I’ve never been styled by Karla, but she is super sweet and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

Alba gave me a fantastic haircut! I love her attention to detail and that she took her time to achieve my desired look. She also included a mini shoulder and head massage with essential oils that was so relaxing! She finished by blow drying and styling my cut!

I absolutely love the Hair Lab. My hair has gone through a huge transformation. Before seeing Alba my hair was dry, i would experience tons of hair loss and I would always be nervous about damaging my hair when deciding to change hair color. I took my daughter to get her hair done. We both absolutely loved the care Alba took of her. From the minute she sat in the chair, she felt so pampered and spoiled. Alba took her time and it was totally worth it. My daughter loved her new look and was ready for her first homecoming dance. She looked beautiful. Thank you so much Hair Lab. I'm not going to change places, I LOVE how Karla Aguayo works. I have done from a regular cut to a balayage. Karla treats you like a queen, I made the mistake of going to another place and my hair was destroyed. Karla was able to repair it for me. highly recommended.

My hair was a disaster and there were so many split ends. It felt so heavy and looked damaged. Alba took the time to educated me on the things I can do at home to bring my hair back to life. She went over my options and gave me her honest opinions. After she was done, I couldn’t believe how much healthier it felt and looked!! I love all the techniques I learned. She is very talented and I can’t wait to go see her again!!

This is more than a hair salon as they treat you like a spa client. You get a massage to start off with essential oils and they also give you scalp massage which is my favorite part when doing shampoo. The place has great light so you know how your hair will look outside. The girls there are so nice ana make you feel comfortable. Love this place

Alba is so sweet! She's very thorough. It took me a while to finally find a hair place that feels welcoming- as someone who has very damaged hair and is lowkey embarrassed of judgement from hair stylists- Alba definitely made me feel more confident after leaving. I love this place!
