came here for a hour long appt . and still have been here for the past 3 hours these people look like they do good work but have no regard for your time, the lady doing my wifes hair has went off and washed 2 other ladies hair,

Typing this as I sit in the chair. Came in for a Double Process Color & Blowout With Karma! She was very nice and considerate when coloring as she noticed some parts of my hair were shorter or “fragile”. She made sure I was comfortable with the color every step of the way! As far as the salon goes, EVERYONE was easy going. It was a calm chill vibe, even a sweet Pup therapy 🤣 not really but still! And I love how everyone in the shop works TOGETHER and helps one another! Definitely coming back again!

I love this shop Dee keeps my hair healthy, I know I will always get a good shampoo and get in and out in good timing. This is the go to place for color and good quality bundles.

My appointment was at 5pm I got to the wash station and had to wait due to her saying the water wasn’t so hot but then didn’t come back for me someone else ended up washing my hair but she did a amazing job not gone lie !!! then my hair stylist wasn’t ready so they up sell to suggest I get the hydration so I tried it just cause I didn’t want to be just sitting but as soon as those 15 minutes was up I was idle for maybe 25 minutes then the stylist then tells me there is someone before me but how is that when I made a 5pm appointment smh then sent back to the wash area for the last wash and blow dried still waiting on stylist it’s two hours later still not done but online it says a hour service but after all said and done I do love my hair so I’ll say if you have the patience definitely give it a try

Deandrea is great!! Very personable and knowledgeable about hair care. I got my first sew-in in ages - probably haven’t had one since 2016). My install with her is flawless with NO tension!

I’ve been here twice now, and not sure if I’ll return for a third. Each time, I booked the 30 min maintenance blow dry & trim, and each time I was in the salon for atleast 3 hours. Majority of the time was spent waiting, & majority of the service was completed by other staff who I hadn’t booked with. I left each time with a haphazard trim that I probably could have done myself. I would love to try a full silk press appointment but if a blow out takes 3hrs, I’m afraid of how long I may be in the salon if I book any other services.

Always a pleasant visit at Hair Loft Atlanta. Charley is very knowledgeable about hair health and color, always have been. Everyone on her team is exceptional, communicative and loves what they do. Highly recommend!

Back in April (2022) I went to the owner Charley and she completed destroyed my hair. I sent her pictures of the color I wanted and she assured me she could achieve the color and she did not. I expressed my disappointment during the service and after. During the service she was aware that my hair was completely wrong and did not want to fully refund my money. Not only did my hair look horrible it was also severely damaged. I also had to pay to get it fixed by a professional, and had to get over five inches cut because of the damage. My hair will not be the same until it completely grows out. It was a traumatizing experience and I would NOT REFER ANYONE to go to Charley or her salon Hair Loft Atl. Update (7-23-24): I am just seeing this response and I have a few things to say. I am the furtherest from a SCAMMER, that’s actually the owner. I actually did her favor by not taking this to social media, but to call me a SCAMMER is defamatory! You knew you ruined my hair before I left because you offered to fix it, and the only reason I was denied the FULL refund is because you sent me back half of my money three times and I sent it back to you twice! I was encouraged by my bank to keep the half in case it didn’t go in my favor. Now I have to drop receipts that shows my damaged hair! These pictures were taken as soon as I got home from the salon. The dates and texts are also there. YOU’RE WELCOME!

Charley has been my hair stylist for 10 years! I receive amazing service every single visit. I come all the way from North Tennessee to see her. She goes above and beyond for ALL of her clients. She's my stylist turned family! All the ladies in her salon are amazing as well. You will NOT be disappointed.

The service here and quality of work is amazing. I’ve been going here for years and refuse to go to anyone else. The stylists treat you like family, they have growing hands, they always make it a point to remember you, and their work is just amazing. My hair is so healthy and grew so long because of the focus on healthy hair here. When I moved out of state for school I would still travel back here for my appointments. I always recommend hair loft to my friends. They will always have a customer in me.

Y’all know what they say about Atlanta stylist 😭😭 I never book with Atl stylist because of their bad rep. I took a chance with this one because of their good reviews and the fact that they’re in a real salon. I booked an appointment a month in advance for my birthday with Charlie. She had someone else call me and cancel my appointment less than 24 hrs before! I have reservations and parties to attend this weekend and now I have no one to do my hair 😩 Atlanta stylists need to be banned from earth at this point

I've been coming every couple months for a year now and it's always pleasant. Karma and Charley are really good at their craft. This salon brings the old school memories back because they're genuinely interested in bringing out the health of your hair.

I love the Hair Loft! I been a loyal client since 2019 and I’m still rocking with Charley. She is such a professional and knows how to grow natural hair. She’s also a beast with the scissors. Charley is the only person that can cut my hair. Thank you Charley <3

Be prepared to wait even though you have an appointment time and the prices are on the higher side. My only expectation for this appointment was to be on time and to leave on time (with everything done the same day). My personal experience: I recently relocated to Georgia and I was looking for places to go and figured I would try the HairLoft because I follow them on Instagram and they had an available appointment on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 4pm so I booked right away (keep in mind this was my day off from work) I booked with Dee short for DeAndrea because I didn't understand what Level 1 or 2 meant on the website and the website did not explain this so I picked randomly (this could easily be fixed with a short definition or years of experience put by the stylist name). My appointment time according to the confirmation from the salon was 4pm-5pm (VERY IMPORTANT) this was for a Silk Press +Hydration Treatment +Haircut. Cost $160.00 for a level 2 stylist (still not sure what that means). I only left a $10.00 tip because well keep reading.... I arrive to the salon at 3:30pm because traffic is terrible here and I wanted to make sure I made my appointment time. I'm taking back to the shampoo bowl right away and on my way to the shampoo bowl, I am thanked by the stylist for showing up early to my appointment. By 4:20pm I am washed, had my hair treatment, and my hair blown out ready to go into the chair for the haircut and silk press (the salon had at least 3 shampoo girls and they rotated with blowing out the hair). I'm thinking this process is so efficient until 5:30pm rolls around and I'm still not in the chair (no one communicates anything with me about running behind). I see another client in front of me and I have to leave at 5:45pm because I had to be back home, keep in mind my appointment time was from 4-5 (I have the email confirmation sent from the salon). So I tell the stylist I have to leave and be back at my house by 6:15 (the drive from my house to the salon is 30-40 minutes depending on traffic that day) and she asked if I could come back later that night, or tomorrow Wednesday, January 3, 2024 but I already had something planned because my appointment time was from 4-5. The only day I could come back was Thursday after work (I get off at 4pm and traffic starts to get bad here around 3pm). I am told to come back Thursday after work at 4:30 so she can finish my hair. So I pay for my service that I did get (wash, hair treatment, and my hair blown out). I was told not to put any product in my hair so I went to work with frizz blown out hair. I arrived back at the salon on Thursday at 4:30 on the dot for the cut and silk press but tell me why another client is in the chair after I was told to be there at 4:30. The kicker for me was they went outside to take pictures for Instagram and I've been waiting since Tuesday to get my hair finish. At this point I'm so over this lady and place. I finally get in the chair at 5pm. The inconvenience overshadowed anything this lady could possibly due to my hair. I'm finally done by 5:30 and this lady has the nerve to try and take pictures of my hair :/ completely done-the audacity. To Management: The point of running a successful business is to get customers but also retain them (this is not the way). If you are paying 3 shampoo girls and the appointment times are still not being met- something is flawed with your business model or the people you have working for you. A friendly disclaimer on your website about the wait times or just someone communicating to clients that the stylist is running behind would go a long way. I hope this helps anyone who recently moved here and looking for hair places.

Charley is definitely gifted with the scissors! The way she creates custom bobs to fit each client’s face still amazes me. She colored my hair months ago and I am still getting compliments!! She has been coloring and cutting my bobs for years now. All of the stylists are sweet and very pleasant.

Top tier professional service by everyone here .My hair feels so clean and healthy and I’m so in love with my cut by Charley . I will most definitely be a regular here . My hair was my thoroughly clarified and cleansed , my scalp feels amazing . I got the silk press , hydration treatment and cut . You can tell they are really educated about their craft . Everyone was so gentle throughout the process and the prices are excellent !
