I love this shop and the people are nice I just think for the money that I am paying I need to get skilled stylist and a professional hairstyle. My hair was cut and supposed to be trimmed and it’s all kind of lengths my silk press was just a flat iron no wrapping nothing silky dry looking. The girl was so sweet and nice I hate to complain but I’d rather get my money worth and good hairstyle.

My first visit to this lovely salon. Shelby gave me my first "dry" haircut and it was great experience! I highly recommend this salon and especially Shelby. Shelby was very knowledgable, warm, bubbly, customer-centered and skilled.

I took my 4.5 year old daughter to Hair Love KC for her first hair cut. I was excited and nervous at the same time! My daughter has wavy to curly hair. As a curly girl myself, I wanted to give my daughter the best first-haircut experience. 🫶🏽 Shelby was AMAZING! She was kind, friendly, patient, and she helped me collect my daughter’s hair clippings. She made my daughter and I both feel comfortable. She was so gentle with my daughter’s hair and did everything in her power to make her feel special. 🥹 We will both return for trims! Thank you, Shelby! ❤️

Tippi did an amazing job! This was my first time ever having a professional touch my hair with scissors so I was a little nervous but I will continue to go to Hair Love forever. All the stylist were friendly and enjoyable to be around. Love the layout of the salon as well as the location. 10s all the way around!

Got a silk press done with them on my medium length 4c hair and I was thoroughly impressed! Ziah was the stylist I worked with and she was so professional, and funny And definitely took really good care of my hair. I’m usually very tender-headed so I was scared going in, but there was really nothing to be afraid of with them. Didn’t hurt at at all and I really love my results!

Nyss did wonderful job! I came in for a mizani curly cut and sunlights. She did the cut first and when she was done I could already see a huge difference without color and was loving it already. She was super professional and bounced ideas off of me about color. It was a really great experience.

Love, love, love this salon. I see Jessie and she is absolutely fantastic about talking through a vision with me before we even begin… She takes the time to teach me how to replicate her techniques at home and I always walk out feeling fabulous!

I met with Tippi and she was excellent. I usually get so nervous before haircuts and she was patient and kind. She clearly is a curly hair genius. Y'all know how hard it can be to find someone who can cut curls! The location is adorable, and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating. This was a fantastic experience!

Shelby was my stylist and she freaking NAILED it! I came in a few months after a slightly traumatizing blunder at another salon that did not specialize in textured hair. Never again will I settle for that! From the moment I arrived, Shelby exuded kindness, confidence, and care. Everyone in the salon was so knowledgeable about curly hair. Some of that is training, but a great deal of it is generational too, and I feel so honored that Shelby was willing to take the time to educate me so thoroughly. Usually I dread getting a haircut because I never felt heard or understood. HairLove made me feel like I had community and a place I could trust! I'm already planning another visit. Thank you so much!

The best haircut i've ever gotten, my hair has never been curlier and this was the first time a stylist really listened to what i was looking for and then executed it perfectly. Not to mention the atmosphere and everyone there were extremely welcoming and kind.
