I debated whether to write this or not, because I absolutely loved the cut I received. My issue was not with the cut. My issue was that when I made my appointment, I requested a shampoo and a cut. When my hairstylist started, she cut my hair, and then without asking, she dried and used a flat iron. Since she continued to take thinning shears and other implements to my hair, I assumed (wrongly, it seems) that it was included in the cut. When I received the amount after she was finished, it was $44 more than what the website stated for a cut. I was happy with the cut, but more than a little disappointed at the lack of communication regarding what I wanted and whether it would cost more. Luckily I had the extra money with me, and like I said I loved the cut, but I honestly doubt I will go back.

I’ve never felt welcome as much as I did in this saloon. I called only 40 minutes before, and they took my walk-in and did a fantastic job on my hair. Please don’t hesitate to book with them.

Taniesha (sorry if I misspelled) gets my hair right. From color to a wash and style to braids, I'm always happy when I leave the salon.

I’d just like to say Hannah has never disappointed me I always leave LOVING my hair. I’ve gotten a color and silk press twice and both times I have loved my hair and gotten so many compliments. Additionally she is such a knowledgeable stylist! My hair has so much luster and bounce! This is the healthiest it’s ever been definitely will be returning.

So happy that we were able to get an appointment with Ms Hannah. It was last minute and she couldn't have done a better job, my baby looks so much better now and we will be going back!!!

They were amazing!!!! Some time back I had a bleaching that went awful and my hair was falling out... I didn’t know what to do so I called Hair luxe and they literally saved my hair they were so nice and funny. Please please go support them they’re so awesome. Thank you guys again!

Was looking to get my hair done today. I typically like my hair to look fabulous, I take great customer service to heart so in reading previous reviews I was looking forward to taking my business to Hair Luxe Salon. When I explained my cut needs to the ever so pleasant receptionist she informed me “You’re looking for a barber this is a salon - we don’t do men’s hair” 👍🏽👍🏽 10/10 recommend this business if you’re looking to be told what you’re looking for

I have been looking for a loctician since I moved to Tulsa a year and a half ago. This salon is a beast! All stylist are well versed in locs (if this is the style you seek). But they do loootttsss more. Wonderful group of ladies. I’ve found the hold grail!

My girl, TANESHIA, is the B E S T !! I've been a client since 2009, and she consistently delivers every time. While living in other cities, I'd compare my "new" stylists to expectations equal to TANESHIA's work, but to no avail. I would commute back to Tulsa once a month to get my hair done (yes, it’s that SERIOUS)! It's extremely difficult to find someone with 1) natural hair experience, 2) versatility, and 3) healthy hair knowledge & promotion. From box braids, cornrows, feeder braids, 2-strand twists, sew-ins, locks, & flat-irons, she does everything equally well (minus SHORT hair :-) Once you allow her to do your hair, you'll anticipate greatness...ALSO expect to be entertained!! The other stylists, Nita & Tonya, have their own specialties. If I had locks, Nita, a seasoned vet, would be my go-to stylist...she teaches maintenance tips and her lock styles/up-dos are so INTRICATE & PHENOMENAL! *** Forgot to mention, plan to book several weeks out to schedule an appointment *** ;-)

They've been taking care of my daughters hair for a couple years now and do an excellent job. Also they play REAL R&B music so that nostalgic feel comes to your ears while they handle business. Wonderful place 5 stars for sure. Worth every penny.

We love Hair Luxe! The salon is classy and clean and the service is unbeatable. The stylists are knowledgeable about EVERY hair texture (you don’t get that everywhere). Anita and Taneshia are creative, yet attentive to all of their clients. If you want cared for AND beautiful hair, get on their schedule!

Natasha has great customer service I think all men with dreadlocks should visit her the best I have tried since I've been here from Memphis Tennessee
